Zuma Dogg's Neighborhood Council Blogspot Is Now LADailyBlog.com

Rememeber www.neighborhoodcouncil.blogspot.com? When the Bradeley/EBE Glassell Park NC controversy was being uncovered, and SW Museum was becoming a hotter issue, and there was more info than could be blogged on Mayor Sam's blog, without overtaking the blog, I created the NC blogspot.

Now, with the national presidential election overtaking the Mayor Sam blog -- and more and more commentary on other media coverage, as opposed to coverage of local issues affecting the community -- I wanted to fire up this blog again, but with a twist.

In the past, people would contact me with stories and issues in their neighborhood, and ZD would have to become an expert on the issue, then type in all up into a story for the blog.

This time, I have invited some of the people who have been providing me with much of this information, and gave them the keys to this blog, so they can contribute directly.

PLUS, a new and easy web address, so that you can more easily direct people to the blog: www.LAdailyblog.com. (A lot easier to remember and tell people about than "neighborhoodcouncil.blogspot.com."

So let's see how it goes. Mayor Sam's blog is still the big boy for most issues...and they will still be blogger there, too. But a lot of times I hold back on new posts on Mayor Sam, because I don't wanna hog the blog. And sometimes there are issues that get burried to quickly on Sam's blog, because we are in a national election, and the blog is going heavier with commentary and the blog is evolving, and I don't think issues like NC corruption, or Las Villas, Las Lomas, LAUSD or the $600-$700 budget deficit can stand out and garner the attention like it used to.

So consider this the Mayor Sam excess blog, or a place to warm up issues before they are ready for Mayor Sam. Plus, this blog allows you to email the story threads to others, directly.
