City Council To Spend $162,977 On A F*cking Fiesta While Trying To Think of Ways To Save Money (No Wonder They Are A National Embarassment)

The empty-headed morons who fill up the City Council seats are absorbing $162,977 for a f*cking fiesta party. I thought they declared a financial emergency, are raising all kinds of fees and creating all kinds of new taxes, and are trying to figure out way to belt tighten and create new revenue? Council District Fourteen has received a request that the City provide certain services and declare this function a Special Event. Approval of this request will mean that the City will absorb an estimated $162,977 in fees and salary costs.

I THEREFORE MOVE that the "L.A. Fiesta Broadway 2008" be declared a Special Event, and City departments be requested to waive all fees and costs, except insurance and application requirements.

HEY DUMMIES...WE HAVE A $500-$700 MILLION BUDGET DEFICIT...PUT THE SPENDING ON DAMN PARADES ON HOLD YOUR MORONS! AND IF THE EVENT HAS "SPONSORED BOOTHS" THE MONEY FROM THAT SHOULD GO TO PAY THE FEES.
