I haven't been in the business of combing the agendas in advance of the council meetings and blogging them for all to see...but since the City has upped their efforts to violate people's rights during the council meeting...ZD needs to start working harder, too. I apologize. After sleeping in the seat of my car for over four months, with not enough gas, food or anything, I am kinda not functioning on all cylinders, but Council's over-the-top nuttiness this week at the meetings has been fueling my blogging today. Meanwhile, I know there will be five hours of Dog and Pony shows during tomorrow's council meeting, before they even get the actual city business at hand, but there MUST be time to squeeze in this one little item:

08-0002-S133 RESOLUTION (PARKS - PERRY - GARCETTI) relative to urging the County of Los Angeles to completely overhaul the current County health system. Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MAYOR: RESOLVE to include in the City’s 2007-08 State Legislative Program, a position to URGE the County of Los Angeles to adopt a number of proposals to completely overhaul the current County health system, including the creation of an elected Public Health Officer or County Surgeon General, Establishment of Mobile Health Clinics and Streamlining of Costs and Bureaucracy, as detailed in the Resolution.
WOW! How's that for the bond rating. If the system need to be completely overhauled, it must be completely broken, and the City must be completely unsafe. Meanwhile, I like this language. I think the entire City Council chamber needs to be completely overhauled come election time.

I need to go through it to document all of the Brown Act violations for the Superior Court lawsuit!!! THEY ARE PURPOSEFULLY AND INTENTIONALLY KEEPING THIS MEETING OFF THE WEBSITE!
