Los Angeles Business Owners Forced To Pick Up Tab For City's Crime Problem (Due To City's "Soft on Crime" Policy)

Something that pisses me off from the council agendas. a lot of Rent Escrows are flying onto the agenda.

What happens is business owners are being forced to pick up the tab for graffitti removal and broken windows needing to be fixed.

Problem is, the stuff is being done by people on the street at night that the owners have no control over.

But the City makes them pay for the damages and if not a lien is slapped on they ass. And if you can't pay the lien you can lose your business.

HOW ABOUT THIS: Since the city is soft on crime and refuses to do more to enforce crime -- how about you stop taking money out of the general fund to pay for all your shady "special event fees" and all the non-profit money that is going to all the wrong places -- and spend it on removing graffitti and fixing any broken windows you feel the property owner needs to fix.
FIRST YOU RAISE ALL THE FEES, ADD NEW TAXES AND FEES, UPDATE EVERYTHING ("UP"-DATE) -- THEN, as business owners can barely afford to keep their doors open in this foreclosure/inflation economy -- you take away any profits they may be able to squeeze out because of the crime you refuse continue to enable through the Hellen Keller treatment.

Otherwise, I guess the City of Los Angeles under Mayor Antonio Villaragiosa just has to admit and conceed that they have lost control of the streets and it is now up to the businesses serving the communities in these hard times that will be forced to pay for all of it.

HOW ABOUT TAKING MONEY TO CLEAN UP THE CITY OUT OF THE 300% INCREASED TRASH COLLECTION FEE YOU SOCIOPATHIC-SPENDAHOLIC MAYOR?
