Next Zuma Dogg/Casa Princesa Event - SATURDAY NOVEMBER 1st (8A-1P)

We had great times at Casa Princesa the past two Friday nights, and now it's time for a weekend daytime event for the entire community that will be advertised in the November issues of Boulevard Sentinel and The Voice newspapers...

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 1st - 8AM
Casa Princesa Parking Lot

Z.A.P. (Zuma's Action Plan) FINAL ELECTION RALLY AND PARKING LOT FAIR!

York Blvd & Ave 45
Across from Sparkletts in Highland Park

No Home Depot, Southwest Museum, Mayor Sam Readers, SLAP, ZAP, Neighborhood Coucilmembers, LAUSD Parents, Kill The Sign, non-profits, businesses, other causes...Show up starting at 8AM on Saturday November 1st.

AND TRY TO BRING ONE OR TWO FRIENDS WHO ARE NOT YOUR USUAL COMMUNITY ACTIVISTS!

[Pictured: (l-r) Southwest Museum/Griffith Park Advocate Olga Hall, ZD and STNC's Lydia Grant.]

ZUMA DOGG will have his DJ booth set up with speakers and so everyone can make their announcements in time for the November 4th election; and we will have the Z.A.P. slate of ballot recommendations. Then music and karaoke in the outdoor parking lot festival.

AND I HAVE AN IDEA THAT I WOULD LIKE TO LAUNCH INVOLVING EVERYONE WHO SHOWS UP.

For example, City Council gets automatic raises. Maybe we all decide to show up for Public Comment on the following Tuesday to request that City Councilmembers put their "automatic raises" on hold. (Something like that. I'll figure it out between now and then based on feedback.)

So try and drag as many people to Casa Princesa (York and Ave 45, across from Sparklets in Highland Park, near Eagle Rock Blvd) on Saturday November 1st, for the ZUMA DOGG's "Z.A.P." LIVE EVENT/FINAL ELECTION RALLY!

THIS EVENT WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND PROMOTED IN TWO LOCAL NEWSPAPERS COVERING: EAGLE ROCK, HIGHLAND PARK, MT. WASHINGTON, GLASSELL PARK, BOYLE HEIGHTS, EL SERENO & LINCOLN HEIGHTS.

Zuma Dogg will be setting up his ".99 Cent Gift Zone", setting up the DJ booth (with music, karaoke and YOUR public comment) -- and inviting friends to set up their own booths to promote their business/non-profit/cause/product or other idea that would fit under your standard "tent and table"style booth, in this parking lot/street-fair environment. (Face painters, balloons, .99 cent toys and gifts, and community booths.)

If you want to set up for this event, email ZumaDogg@Gmail.com or leave a message with your phone number at 213-785-7272. We will be doing this EVERY Saturday and Sunday in November, so you can participate all month. ($15 booth fee each day.)
