L.A. County Supervisor CEO Fujioka Seeks OUTSIDE FIRM to Determine If Mark Ridley-Thomas' Office Remodling SHOULD Be Scaled Back.

Thanks to Board of County Supervisor CEO Bill Fujioka for calling for a "survey" to see if Mark Ridley-Thomas DOESN'T REALLY NEED ALL THAT OFFICE REMODELING -- AS CITY AND COUNTY IS ABOUT TO EXPERIENCE HUGE LOSS OF EMPLOYEES AND SERVICES. (Can Ridley-Thomas survive with existing oak floors, instead of replacing with cherry wood?) This is CEO & Supervisors' way of scaling back Shitley-Thomas' disgraceful and insensitive office remodling project, without being called, "you know what" for cutting back on the scale of the DIVA'S office improvements. (Gotta have the independent study, so it's no one's decision or opinion.)

City activist Zuma Dogg handed Mark Ridley-Thomas his ASS on KPFK 90.7 FM TalkRadio/Los Angeles where he expressed outrage over Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas' plans to spend $707,000 on an office remodel, a county official said Wednesday the supervisor is considering whether to scale down the project. County Chief Executive Officer Bill Fujioka said Ridley-Thomas is seeking an outside firm to conduct an independent assessment to determine if the project should be pared back. [CAN YOU ONLY IMAGINE IF THE FIRM SAYS, "YES," TO REDECORATING/ripping out oak wood for cherry wood floor? IT'S GOING TO BE SCALED BACK MARK...GET READY TO HOLLER THE, "I THOUGHT THESE DAYS WERE OVER," CARD AGAIN YOU DESPICABLE COWARD AMONG YOUR OWN PEOPLE!]

The Board of Supervisors have faced intense public pressure since voting unanimously Dec.1 to refurbish Ridley-Thomas' office.

In a board memo, Fujioka wrote the project would involve the replacement of carpet, floor tiles and lighting, interior wood work, an air conditioning retrofit, the relocation of the kitchenette and the purchase of new furniture. [HEY SHITLEY-THOMAS, GUESS WHERE YOU CAN STICK THOSE FLOOR TILES?]

Sherry Bebitch Jeffe, a senior fellow at the School of Policy, Planning and Development at the University of Southern California, admits critics have a "valid argument" on this issue.

"The point is the county is hurting," Jeffe said. "Social programs are hurting. There are people who don't have homes to live in, let alone the ability to remodel. It's just not a politically astute thing to do at this point in time."
