NEW: Zuma Dogg LOST Audio Files - Howard Stern & Public Access Hip Hop Era

[Picutred: HE'S ALIVE!!! 10.31.09. Can this guy make a comeback of the sidewalk? A quiet room with a bed for a week is helping to jump start the process. Also pictured: Deming, Ries and Robbins take a back seat as "most influential" to Run-DMC (& Jam Master Jay) in the next round of Zuma Dogg LOST AUDIO CLASSICS.]

CHECK BACK LATER TODAY FOR THE UPDATES OF NEW ZD AUDIO: "The Early Years (2000-2004)" -- and a new ZumaSHOW radiocast.

UPDATE: I just found an old CD with several audio tracks from the original, "The Zuma Dogg Show" (public access era, crica 2000-2004) which clearly proves that Michael Jackson may be "King of Pop," but Zuma Dogg is "King of Hop."

So if you are a fan of Zuma Dogg's budgetary, planning, economic and legislative talk, this series of lost audio classics may not be for you.

But if you are a fan of the "hip-hop" freestyle battle-rapper side of Zuma Dogg, this is all stuff you have never heard before, because it has never been posted and again, it CLEARLY demonstrates that Zuma Dogg actually is one of the all time rap legend greats, D.O.A. -- and that's just simply on the realest, dough.

I know ZD is like "The Blues Brothers" in the sense that it's always going to be somewhat comedy, because we are characters, in reality; but at the end of the day...it's the realest, on top. (And you can play these clips for the hardest of hardcore hip-hop homies and they will back up my claims.)

So, let the good times roll for you more contemporary Zuma Dogg fans on the pop culture tip. THIS IS THE STUFF THAT MADE ME A LEGEND AND AN ICON BEFORE I EVER WALKED INTO CITY HALL. Ahhhhh, the triuphantness of legendariness. I'll start off easy with some Bee Gees LIVE (from the Adelphia studios) for people who might want to have a listen without being berated with ZD's gangsta hip-hop talk: (Casey Kasem Voice): On American Top 40, I'm Casey Kasem with the number one song from five years ago today. It's Malibu hip-hop legend, Zuma Dogg, with his Bee Gess medley of 'How Deep Is Your Love and Stayin' Alive." We hope Zuma Dogg stays alive so he can continue to show you exactly, just how deep his love is. On American Top 40, I'm Casey Kasem.

ALSO: Found the original letter Deming sent me, old photos of Dave and Zuma from mid-90's (for comparison) and ALL my original writings that haven't been looked at since the internet has come around, so a lot to post.

PLUS, the ORIGINAL,full-length 19 minute Howard Stern radio show appearance that has never been posted, which is the debut of Zuma Dogg, first ever unleashing of Zuma Dogg. (And what an un-leashing it was.)

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom Drops Out of California Gubenetorial (Governor's) Race...Jerry Brown a Shoe-in. (Why Waste Money on the Election?)

This message from loser Gavin Newsom who dropped out of the California Gubernatorial race today. He got off to a bad start, before his campaign began, when Zuma Dogg busted him in Malibu with Gary South when Newsom parked his SUV gas-guzzler in the FIRE LANE. My YouTUBE footage ended up on Eyewitness News in San Fran, along with the newspaper up there. I told him, "You're off to a bad start for governor, parking your gas-guzzler SUV in the fire zone in L.A. County!

Here's the video: Mayor Gavin Newsome Parks Gas Guzzling SUV in Fire Lane and this San Fransisco Mayor Gavin Newsom Meets Zuma Dogg and this conclusion to the mini-series: Mayor Gavin Newsome Vehicle Moved Out Of Fire

Here's the letter from Gavin:

JERRY BROWN IS A SHOE IN FOR CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR!

Dear Zuma:

It is with great regret I announce today that I am withdrawing from the race for governor of California. With a young family and responsibilities at city hall, I have found it impossible to commit the time required to complete this effort the way it needs to — and should be — done.

This is not an easy decision. But it is one made with the best intentions for my wife, my daughter, the residents of the city and county of San Francisco, and California Democrats.

When I embarked on this campaign in April, my goal was to engage thousands and thousands of Californians dedicated to reforming our broken system and bringing change to Sacramento.

I would like to thank those supporters, volunteers, and donors who have worked so hard on my behalf. I have been humbled by their support and am indebted to their efforts. They represent the spirit of change and determination essential to putting California back on the right track.

I will continue to fight for change and the causes and issues for which I care deeply — universal health care, a cleaner environment and a green economy for our families, better education for our children, and, of course, equal rights under the law for all citizens.

Sincerely,

Gavin Newsom

Gavin Losersom

JUST POSTED: New MUST LISTEN "ZumaSHOW" with ZD's PensionGATE Insider (on GLOBAL POLITICS AND ECONOMY)....A COMPELLING, MUST LISTEN!

[Pictured: Zuma Dogg and Gary ZD's "PensionGATE" Insider who BLOWS THE WORLD WIDE OPEN in the ZumaShow link below.]

One of the things I wanted to do with this new BlogTalkRadio "ZumaSHOW" is be able to let everyone listen in on the types of conversations I am privileged to that I try and re-cap on my blog. But some of it falls outside the narrow focus of L.A. Politics, focusing on L.A. City Hall and agenda items, and it goes to overall background in ZD's mind that goes into everything I keep in the back of my mind as a gadfly and blogger. SO HERE IS A VERY COMPELLING HOUR SHOW THAT ALLOWS GARY TO RE-CAP THE BIG PICTURE STUFF ZUMA DOGG HAS BEEN HEARING ABOUT THAT EXPANDED MY MIND AND ELEVATED MY WRITING, ACCORDING TO SOME, JUST BASED ON MY READING OF GARY'S STUFF AND TAKING ON HIS STYLE AT TIMES. Here's the podcast:

Zuma Dogg Update For 10.29.09: Strangers call me "Their Hero" As I Walk Down Street, Wetherly Captial (PensionGATE) Radio Show COMING SOON, and more

I was walking down Lincoln Blvd around 3pm, today, when I saw a drunk guy on the sidewalk in front of a restaurant stumbling around drunk and threatening people and putting his fists in the air and shaking them at people and was banging on the glass at the restaurant and putting his fists up to the restaurant employees and he threatened a young guy in a baseball cap walking down the street; so as all of this is happening, the police end up showing up, and after interviewing the drunk guy causing problems they put him in handcuffs and they assured me that they had him on what they needed and he wasn't going to be set free. (Zuma Dogg is ALWAYS compassionate toward the person being investigated by LAPD -- and am there to witness any wrongdoing -- BUT, in this case, CLEARLY this guy was a danger and I was hoping they would be able to keep him off the streets, for now.

Meanwhile, a neigborhood couple in their 50's, maybe early 60's were walking down the street to get coffee and they stopped next to me to look in, as well, from the safe distance and they start to comment and mention, "homeless" and so I (feeling guilty as a homeless person) say, "Well, I'm homeless, but I'm kinda a different kind of homeless." And she intejects, "Oh, yeah...well I'm not talking about someone like you..." (realizing I'm not just some guy drunk starting fights).

So she goes back into the "homeless" talk and starts to complain about "rent control," because she's an apartment manager (or landlord) and was commenting on how kids in their 20's inherit rent controlled units from their parents or grandparents, and rent control is not supposed to be something passed down from generation to generation...and it causes a lot of problems...," and it was relating to the homeless issue.

So I say, "Yeah, I've fought city hall on a lot of stuff like that..."

And the guy says, "You and that guy..."What's his name???...Dogg." And she says, "Yeah, that "Dogg" guy.

So I say, "Oh, that IS me. You mean you didn't recognize me?" (I have a ZD beard now, but didn't have my glasses or hat on, so I guess they didn't recognize me.) I put my glasses (even though no ski cap) to show them more and they both said at the same time (as a long time married couple would), "You are OUR hero!" And they said it a couple times just to make sure I really heard them, I guess.

And they explained to me how on top of the issues I am and they wondered how I did that. And again, a lot of talk on how much I knew about all the issues.

I told them it took a lot out of me and this ain't exaclty a good week for me and went into a little bit more about how I am homeless now (even though it's my fault) and I'm kinda in big trouble.

They kept telling me I was their hero and told them it meant a lot to me that they knew about me (forget about "hero" but just that they were so fully aware of ZD at City Hall), NOT out of ego, but because that is my Neilsen or Arbitron ratings to know that I'm not a falling tree in a forest that no one hears. AT LEAST PEOPLE ARE WELL AWARE OF MY EFFORTS.

And I we all know that I already know that and no one reminds others more than myself. But again...still continues to amaze in a situation like this, where ZD stops to talk to two random strangers on the sidewalk in this giant city of 4 million plus and the first two people I strike up a conversation with, end up knowing me and calling me their, "hero."

Sorry people to nauseate you with this story that I know is ME telling it, not someone else. But I hope you know I wouldn't be so pathetic to make this up if it weren't completely 100% true in the way I am describing it and there is no more or no less to the story and was COMPLETELY random as I walked down the sidewalk.

So I am looking at this as a market researcher (my profession in the radio and record industry and I consider myself ALWAYS to be doing market research at ALL times when I am out and about), so to me this is pretty big statement to ME that ZD really must have used some 800 lb gorilla of a media steamroller in this town over the past nine on public access with emphasis on the past three years as a City Hall gadfly activist.

It DOES motivate and inspire me to continue, but many of you know that I simply cannot at this point. At least until some things change in my life, first.

And it make me think, "Damn...if I'm recoginzed at that level, in that highly favotrable way...it must be bigger than I realize out there." (Cause I'm walking around more focused on my physical and emotional crisis and day to day surivial -- not the impact I've made while running with the bridge burning behind me. But I see there's been quite a trail left behind the blaze (maybe that's why they call it "trailblazing." And back to the point that it makes me think, "How can I be wandering the streets, now in physical pain and too burnt out to function even in the dysfunctional way I used to...and HOW AND WHAT CAN I DO TO GET ON TOP OF THIS MOMENTUM AND DO SOMETHING WITH IT BESIDES JUST BANGING MY HEAD AGAINST THE WALL LIKE THIS, UN-PROFESSIONALLY.

I was always hoping for "ZD at Viper Room," but maybe it should be "ZD at Nokia Theater" or something. WHAT CAN I DO??? I CAN'T JUST FADE AWAY AND EVENTUALLY DROP WITH A THUD ON THE STREETS ONE DAY (TOO SOON, I FEAR).

I CAN DO SO MUCH AND SO MUCH MORE THAN ANYONE HAS EVEN SEEN, BECAUSE IT'S ALL BEEN DONE AS A BURNT OUT HOMELESS GUY AND NOT FROM A MEDIA PLATFORM LIKE A NEWSPAPER, RADIO OR TV STATION. I'm not on KNBC, KABC, LA Weekly, LA Times...NO WHERE...but these people just said I was, "their hero" and I don't care if you hate that I keep saying it.

I've EARNED the right to throw it around and I have to remind myself that I can't just throw this all away and I know my blog readers and others have been telling me, but I feel more like the homeless guy who simply cannot afford the economic pressures of another day and am getting too burnt out emotionally and physically to even be able to try. And that's when you just drop with a thud on the street and end up being picked up in an ambulance and carried away to the hosptial if you don't just die of a heart attack or other problem on the street. I know you think this is a Woody Allen-like over-reaction, but go ask Bill Rosendahl and others who know me what happens when ZD gets a little too sleep deprived, even that he can endure. IT GETS VERY, VERY BI-POLAR...not in the "prozac" way...but in the natural sleep deprived way. And I KNOW it's due to that, because it happens even when I have eaten and food is not the issue. AND, when I get off the street and sleep enough...there is CLEARLY a difference...and you will see that, this next week, since I am in a hotel room...and even though it's a tough, uphill battle to try and put the pieces of my life back together...at least I'm off the street and that's MOST IMPORTANT, because it takes too much out of you and you take on too much energy being outside on an urban street 24/7.

Because, I am FINALLY in a QUIET, QUIET, QUIET...do I dare to say, "peaceful" hotel room -- where the wi-fi does not reach to my room...but at least I am REALLY off the streets -- in a room that is as quiet as will be possible in an urban area and I can catch up on sleep, if I can turn off my blogging mind and relax for a while.

But if FINALLY feels, at least, like the summer retreat/spring break I haven't had in a while. So it should be a good week of productive blogging and radio shows.

The next one is coming up today, when I check in with my Wetherly Captial/PensionGATE insider who I met in Del Mar, CA over this past spring. Now that I have "BlogTalkRadio" he is someone I wanted to share with people and let them hear some very insightful stuff in the way Zuma Dogg has been privilidged to.

So BlogTalkRadio will be a nice way to allow EVERYONE to hear the stuff I am hearing on the phone from people all the time. From now on, if we are going to have a long, in-depth conversation about stuff that you and I want me to blog...may as well say it on "ZumaSHOW" so people can hear it directly as ZD is...and I don't have to type it and blog it!

AND FINALLY...HILARIOUSNESS ENSUES AS CITY OF L.A. RESPONDS TO MATT DOWD OVER VENICE BEACH LAWSUIT, AND CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE OPENS IT UP FOR ZUMA DOGG TO THROW THE BOOK AT "RICHARD ALARCON" AS I AM NOT FORCED TO BACK UP MY PUBLIC COMMENT THAT I FEEL HE IS, "THE SHADIEST, MOST DANGEROUS, WORST COUNCILMEMBER IN THE HISTORY OF THE CITY."

Although I will now be busy typing up all the reasons I feel this way, which you are allowed to express during public comment and the worst thing I called him was, "shady," I don't see how that is disruptive, but now Zuma Dogg will be able to type it all up and present it in FEDERAL COURT to a FEDERAL JUDGE and it will be in this PUBLIC RECORD for all time.

Richard, they really did you SOME FAVOR and I know there's now probably at least ONE councilmember that is hoping for an out of court settlement.

How Is L.A. Supposed To Ever Succeed When LAUSD Kids Enter HIGH SCHOOL -- NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND ENGLISH???

How and the hell do you think the City of Los Angeles has ANY FUTURE WHATSOEVER when the kids enter kindergarten not able to read English -- and then enter High School STILL not able to read English? I can't tell who is lazier...the kids or the school system. Either way, society loses. HEY DUMB PARENTS...LEARNING ENGLISH DOES NOT STRIP AWAY CULTURE AND HERITAGE...IT ENHANCES IT, DUMMY. DON'T YOU WANT YOU KIDS TO IMPROVE AND DO BETTER AND ELEVATE THE CULTURE AND GENERATION...or just join a gang and let the jail system raise them for you, lazy asses? (Put all the social service welfare applications in English and their families will learn English in RECORD time!)

LA TIMES:

Many dumb and lazy L.A. students not moving out of English language classes

Almost 30% of those placed early on in such programs in L.A. Unified were still in them when they started high school, study says. The sooner students moved on, the more they excelled.

By Anna Gorman

Nearly 30% of Los Angeles Unified School District students placed in English language learning classes in early primary grades were still in the program when they started high school, increasing their chances of dropping out, according to a new study released Wednesday.

More than half of those students were born in the United States and three-quarters had been in the school district since first grade, according to the report by the Tomás Rivera Policy Institute at USC.

The findings raise questions about the teaching in the district's English language classes, whether students are staying in the program too long and what more educators should do for students who start school unable to speak English fluently.

"If you start LAUSD at kindergarten and are still in ELL classes at ninth grade, that's too long," said Wendy Chavira, assistant director of the policy institute. "There is something wrong with the curriculum if there are still a very large number of students being stuck in the system."

"We are aggressively looking at supporting these longtime English learners to ensure that they get the support needed to reclassify in a timely manner," she said. [WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN DOING ALL THIS TIME, THEN??? BEING PASSIVE, ON PURPOSE??? YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FUCKING IDEA HOW TO TEACH KIDS ENGLISH, BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE OR WANT TO LEARN ENGLISH.]

The vast majority of the students in the segregated language classes are not recent immigrants but rather U.S.-born youths, according to the study. Nearly 70% of all students ever placed in the English language learning program were born in the United States. [EVEN MORE PATHETIC. WHAT IS THESE PARENTS PROBLEMS??? ARE THEY DUMB? DON'T THEY REALIZE THE SCHOOLS ARE TAUGHT IN ENGLISH? I COULDN'T PASS KINDERGARDEN IN A LANGUAGE I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND, EITHER. WHY ARE THESE MEAN PARENTS TRYING TO KEEP THEIR KIDS DOWN IN THIS SOCIETY?]

"The United States has never learned what is the best way to teach English to English learners," said Harry Pachon, president of the Tomás Rivera Policy Institute. "That's really a shortcoming." [Oh well, you're bad. At least you admit it, so everything's cool. It's just a shortcoming. Oh well. (Insert Price is Right LOSER sounder and simply live with it.]

The sooner students switch to regular classes the better, the new study showed. Students who moved out of English classes by third grade scored up to 40 points higher on standardized tests than those who stayed in the classes. If the students moved by fifth grade, they scored about 10 points higher than their peers. [NO, if you push them out too soon you could hurt someone's feelings.]

All students who speak a second language at home must take a test to see whether they should be placed into classes for English learners. Once they are enrolled, they must take another test to get out. But Pachon said the process to get in is easier than it is to get out. [Kind like "Hotel California. You can check out any time you want...but you can NEVER leave.]

Though the study didn't determine why students were staying in English language programs for so long, researchers say schools may avoid moving English learners into mainstream classes to keep test scores high. [Oh, I think ZD knows why.]

Major News Service Contacts Zuma Dogg To Talk About His "PensionGate" Analysis!

Aw yeah, looks like people from across the country are tuned in to ZumaReport (formerly LA Daily Blog) for his EXCLUSIVE PensionGate coverage that started two years ago, when ZD noticed CalPERS pension money was being invested in the bogus Grand Avenue Project (A "mirage" of Eli Broad and Bill Shitte's Related Cos).

But the "quote/unquote" actual "PensionGate" coverage started last spring when you started to hear the term "placement agents.". Remember my trip to Del Mar, CA in May? A magic era, indeed.

I just got off the phone with a reporter and ZD got the "dream opportunity" to throw EVERYONE related to PensionGATE under the bus, and we compared notes and I learned some new stuff and I think I helped connect some dots and add some missing pieces for the reporter.

So hopefully, a big story coming soon. But it sounds like a BIG story, so it will probably take a while (maybe a month) to complete it, from what I can guess.

Dennis Zine is DUMB!

I just felt like letting people know that it is my belief after sitting in on a few council meetings that Dennis Zine is dumb. Completely worthless, basically. Nice guy, maybe...but he should just sit quietly and not chime in so as to not to slow down the meetings with his nutty, empti-headiness. I wonder if knows ANYTHING about the stuff he votes on? (Nice idea on the AEG/LIVE billboards, Denny...except it was a dumb waste of time that went no where and shot down faster than you could spit it out.) I'm hungry and would take a bite out of my Dennis Zine sandwich, but I'm already full of shit for the day. DENNIS...WHAT HAVE YOU DONE??? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE??? BESIDES WORK TO HAVE ALL THE MEDIJUANA CLINICS SHUT DOWN? If I want to see a clown, I'll go to the circus. I don't like seeing them in chambers.

Zuma's NewsWIRE: PENSIONGATE UPDATE...SEC QUERIES APOLLO GROUP (CalPERS/DOWNTOWN L.A. RELATED!!!)

I will be analyzing the Apollo stories which I have been following and covering on this blog as part of PensionGATE. This could be the big one Elizabeth. Will check it out and weigh in later.

ALSO: NEW ZumaSHOW (10.27 - 9pm Edition) See BlogTalkRadio widget on right. It's an update on Zuma Dogg and covers some Marianne Williamsom/Deepak Chopra/Wayne Dyer stuff, but is mostly an update on my condition. MOST NOTABLY, I am in a small hotel room for a week, with wi-fi. It's noisy, though, so I'll see if I'll be able to get that sleep. But at least I'm off the street for a week. But there's a new half hour up there now. Here are the stories I pulled off the internet that I will be looking at. CHECK THE PENSION STORIES, TOO.

LAPD: For what's it's worth, now that we know the 3 LAPD candidates Villaragiosa will be evaluating for Chief to replace Bratton: I don't know the other two, but I've met Chief of Staff Jim McDonnell a couple times, have seen him at a question and answer session and I REALLY, REALLY like the guy and think he is an outstanding character and most people would probably like him better than Bratton as a personality. And I don't know what happens between closed doors, or the politics of it, but I really feel the guy understands the extreme diversity of this city and can represent a compassionate and fair voice, is thoughtful and mindful and wants to do things right. So again, I don't know the other three, and I don't know much about Jim, but from the couple times I've seen him in action in the community...I FEEL THE CITY WILL GET A SENSE OF CONFIDENCE WITH HIM AT THE HELM AND ALTHOUGH HE'S GOT ONE OF THOSE BOSTON ACCENTS, TOO...I THINK HE'S GOT THE ABILITY TO MAKE THE CITY FEEL CONFIDENT AS A PUBLIC FACE OF LAPD AS WELL.

Killer radio show you rocked out tonight, brother!!

I told my wife all about you and how we met in Venice at the Lincoln Blvd internet cafe
back in 2007...

Man, I am real glad to hear you've got a place to sleep for the week. I check in on your blog from time to time to see how you're doing... cause I've always thought something special was going on with your life (even despite your being homeless)... and well, hey... I'm always down for a good laugh...and man, not many people in life ever made me laugh as hard as YOU can (and have) in those city council meetings...the Gene Simmons bit was CLASSIC!

But listen, all jokes aside...

You NEED to drink more water throughout the day, and definitely get some SLEEP.

I can't help you out with any financial help at this time... but I am rooting for you and like I've said, there is a big MOVIE that's to come from all of your adventures. I don't truly know your entire story... but I just wanted to let you know that a lot of people (including ME) do give a shit about your life, and I pray for you whenever I can.

Keep the faith, cause you're talking to someone who spent two years on the streets of Los Angeles, so I know a thing or two about the subject (talkin Skid Row y'all!)... but hey, what doesn't kill you ONLY makes you stronger.

Take it easy,
RC

[Great to hear from RC who I met at the internet cafe I used to hang out at. He's a rock and roller that wasn't into city politics and he moved out of the state. So it's fun and interesting to get an email like this from a COMPLETE outside stranger who was blogging about heavy metal at the same internet cafe.]

7PM Update: I'm off the street and in a room tonight (and maybe a week)...crisis averted, for now

WED MORNING 10/28 UPDATE: NO! NO! NO!...OF COURSE THIS IS ALL BULLSHIT, AND IT DIDN'T WORK OUT AND NOW I'M REALLY FUCKED UP...
So you can read this passage, from last night, as a piece of fantasy, science fiction...not reality. Only a mirage:

I know when I bust out a post like the one this morning, that WAS my most crisis post, because I am at my most desperate rope's end, a lot of people out there get nervous and concerned. I wish I didn't have to rant it on this blog, but at that moment...the post itself may be the only thing keeping me hanging in there...AND, it DOES let certain people know it's time to try and put ZD on the front burner if they were thinking of reaching out to help me get stabilized.

And unfortunately, when the blogging hits that crisis level, a couple people DO help out, and so ZD is in a room for a full week. (And more importantly than a bed, there IS wi-fi in the room!!!)

And although as soon as I announce this, anyone who was hustling to try and help me, also...will just forget about it now...I wanted to let everyone else know that YES, it was BAD this week and today and I DO have REAL, long-term issues to address and "fix" as I try and rebuild my life out of the wreckage of the past three and a half years...AND IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN IN A WEEK...BUT, getting into this room IMMEDIATELY takes me out of the crisis zone, and hopefully, I will be able to sleep a lot and really catch up on sleep...not take a vacation, but TRY and start doing some things to get back to life.

But I haven't been able to do ANYTHING while on the street, 24/7...and it's about MUCH MORE than just the lack of sleep; but all the energy you spend and absorb being on the street all the time.

I STILL NEED PEOPLE TO HELP ME GET AROUND TO SOME PLACES AND TRY TO GET SOME THINGS DONE, and my life ain't gonna magically "pop back" to pre-city hall era days in a week.

BUT I HAVE ALWAYS MAINTAINED I NEEDED A SINGLE ROOM WITH A BED, AND ALL THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I GOT...so hopefully some good things can happen this week, now.

My BIG concern is that I have aged 35 years in 3 and a half years. (To me, that feels like a fair estimation.) And I WONDER if a week's worth of somewhat regular sleep (or even a month's worth) is enough to bring me back. Or if I am permanently "disabled" because I DEFINITELY am, in THIS society. I know it's pathetic. People look at what I do in ONE area, and assume I am just as capable in other areas. I KEEP SAYING...JUST BECAUSE I AM THE MOST AMAZING THING MANY PEOPLE HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY AREA OF CREATIVE ARTS AND STRATEGY DOESN'T MEAN I CAN DO THE BASIC THINGS EVERYONE ELSE DOES WITH DAILY EASE.

AND A BIG CONCERN FOR ME AND SOMETHING THAT IS STRESSING ME OUT, IS MY ELEVATED LEVEL OF NECK AND BACK PAIN. I NEED A SERIOUS CHIROPRACTOR...PROBABLY A LOT MORE THAN THAT. I'M SURE NOT THINKING ABOUT CITY BUSINESS ROUND THE CLOCK ANYMORE, BUT IF I AM GOING TO BE ABLE TO RETURN TO FULL MOVEMENT AND EVER GET OUT OF CONSTANT CHRONIC PAIN.

So maybe with this room, I can try to get back to just regular degenerate bum Zuma Dogg that at least is living a life, instead of face down in the gutter and not able to pull myself off the sidewalk Zuma Dogg. I'm telling you...one week, under these "on foot" conditions (no transpo) ain't gonna be easy, but at least the worst thing that will happen is that I waste a week just walking around the area and blogging and recreating myself and not doing anything proactive.

If this week is nothing more than a week's break out of the fire, back into the frying pan, that'll be good enough. MEANWHILE, if you have any ideas or calls to make, don't stop now just because I'm off the street for a week. I still have to "fix" my life without a budget. So again, at least I have a room for a week, which is EVERYTHING right now. EVERYTHING!

(Thanks to the person OUTSIDE City of L.A. who made it happen. For all the activism, ONCE AGAIN...someone from OUTSIDE the city. Thanks.)

LAST CHANCE TO REACH OUT AND HELP ZUMA DOGG...I'M AT THE END OF ROPE...EMERGENCY....CALL NOW...HELP NOW...I'M NOT KIDDING...CAN ANYONE HELP ME TODAY?

If you think you can present an argument or do something to keep me from jumping off that building I am looking at, and wondering if it's high enough to get the job done, please contact me immediately. Michael Jackson isn't the only one saying, "This Is It" today. I can't hang in here, anymore. I know I should be doing all those things you are saying I should be doing in your mind, so you can just stay busy and let ZD slip through the cracks. I CAN'T FUNCTION PHYSICALLY OR EMOTIONALLY ANYMORE UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES AND I CAN'T TAKE THE STEPS TO HELP MYSELF!!! I NEED HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!!! HELP!!!! CAN YOU TAKE SOME TIME TODAY TO HELP ME STORE SOME THINGS I HAVE AND HELP ME GET SOMEWHERE...ANYWHERE.

IT'S NOT EVEN 9AM, YET AND ALL I CAN DO IS THINK OF THE LEAST PAINFUL WAY TO FINALLY PUT AN END TO THIS. IF YOU PROMISED TO GIVE ME A JOB, OR MADE SOME KIND OF PROMISE TO "GET BACK" WITH SOME HELP...TODAY IS THE FUCKING DAY, MAN.

"I love you, I wish you all the success in the world, keep up your commitment to a better Los Angeles." - L.A. City Attorney Carmen Trutanich (October 20, 2009). HELL NO...I CAN'T AFFORD ANY COMMITMENT TO A BETTER LOS ANGELES. I'M JUST TRYING TO SAVE MY OWN LIFE, TODAY.

"I do want everyone to know I love you!" - City Attorney Carmen Trutanich (October 21, 2009)

Thanks. And, I might not have the chance to tell you (readers), and he says he wants everyone to know, so I better post it now cause I didn't post it yet, and again...he said he DOES want every to know.

But all the love in the world ain't gonna say me today.

AND PLEASE PEOPLE...DO NOT SEND ME STUFF LIKE THIS -- IT ONLY EXACERBATES MY SITUATION:

"I want you to know that I voted for you in the CD2 election. I had no idea who you were until I read an article in the Daily News about the candidates. I attended the Neighborhood Council meeting/candidate forum held in Valley Glen and heard you speak. Later that night I went on Youtube to see what your deal was and laughed so hard. I had everyone in my house and some of my neighbors watch your videos. Everyone thinks you're great.

I guess I wanted to write you this "message" to let you know that I listen to your radio shows. There's nothing else like it. Other radio shows on the AM stations only touch on these topics and play sound bites but offer no further commentary. Instead, they focus on the bigger picture, which is important too but what's here in front of us is just as valid.

I don't quite know how to end this or exactly what I want to say but what I do know is that I enjoy your shows and appreciate and support what you do. Do what makes you happy and make everything else fall into place around it. Hang in there. Best wishes."

That is quite nice, but wishes are all I got and it ain't enough to keep me hanging, today. So it's emails and comments like that which adds to my frustration. I've invested a lot...EVERYTHING I GOT...into creating whatever "momentum" and "recognition" it has translated into -- and it sure seems like a waste to let it waste away. It's KILLIN' me, Larry!

I AM DYING ON THE STREET, DETERIORATING...AND IN TOO MUCH WATER TO GET MYSELF OUT. I AM SINKING. AND I WANT TO DIE TODAY. I MIGHT NOT KILL MYSELF...BUT ALL I AM DOING TODAY IS THINKING WHAT THE BEST WAY TO DO THAT WOULD BE, JUST IN CASE IT'S NEEDED LATER TODAY. It's just an economic/business decision. I can't afford the luxury of living another day. I can't pull myself out of this off the sidewalk. SORRY.

ANYWAY, a Councilmember asked a community member who appreciates Zuma Dogg to contact me to try and reach out with an emergency helping hand. The person still hasn't contacted me and the CM thought I would have been contacted already and the CM contacted the person again to follow up, yesterday...but still waiting.

HEY, NO PROBLEM!...KEEP WAITING...I GOT NOTHING BUT TIME. (I hope at least the rest of today.) SO THANKS FOR NOTHING ON THAT FRONT. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO HANG IN, CAUSE I KEEP THINKING SOME KIND OF HELP IS ON THE WAY. BUT I'M TOO NAIVE AND OVERLY OPTIMISTIC.

SO DON'T SEND ME ANYTHING TELLING ME HOW "WHATEVER" I AM. I ALREADY KNOW THAT. I HAVE ALREADY HAD SO MANY PEOPLE CALL ME THE GREATEST THING EVER AND A FUCKING GENIUS IN A WAY NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN BEFORE THAT IT HAS FINALLY DRIVEN ME BATTY. I KNOW ABOUT ALL OF THAT.

I KNOW THAT PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME THINGS LIKE MY SHOW "SAVED THEIR LIFE" (they were suicidal) AFTER LOSING A LOVED ON IN 9/11 -- AND SUDDENLY, THERE WAS "ZUMA DOGG" ON TV AS THEY SCANNED THE DIAL, AND HE TOLD ME HE LAUGHED FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THEY LOST THAT LOVED ONE ON 9/11...BUT ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME IS STILL THINKING ABOUT IT AND CHURNING IT AROUND IN THEIR MIND.

Ever pick up the phone and have an Iraqi war veteran from outside the state, somewhere in the south, to tell you, "I'm just recovering from the war in Iraq and wanted to say I just got done with a Zuma Dogg YouTube film festival and I watched EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS with my friend and your (something very worthwhile) and keep it up!

Basically, he told me I represent everything this country is about and what they are fighting for and all of that; and I told him to forget about that, I'm just a pussy...and thanked HIM for his efforts and asked about his recovery...BUT HE WOULDN'T HAVE ANY OF THAT...he just kept putting it back on me, telling me to keep going and all that. (So I can only imagine his condition if he was home "recovering" cause I doubt it was for a sprained ankle.)

So that's the kind of stuff I hear. A teacher from Eagle Rock area telling me she shows he class my YouTube videos to teach her kids about "activism" and city hall and all that stuff. The pastor who stopped me on the street recently, Downtown, which really blew my mind that he, "admire me for my efforts at city hall" (as he pointed to city hall).

The old days of my public access show when parents would come up to me with their kids (families) and say, "You know, Zuma Dogg, you're the ONLY show we can all agree on and it's the only time that the entire family is together in front of the TV together." DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO WALK THE LINE TO BE SOMETHING THAT HARD CORE KIDS ACTUALLY GO NUTS OVER...AND PARENTS NOT ONLY FEEL COMFORTABLE, BUT ENJOY IT JUST AS MUCH, IF NOT MORE THAN THEIR KIDS?

It seems a shame to be having it all slip away.

I KNOW I SHOULD BE DOING THIS, AND SHOULD BE DOING THAT...AND YOU CAN RUN ALL THOSE THINGS THROUGH IN YOUR MIND SO YOU CAN FEEL BETTER ABOUT IT. I CAN'T MOVE OR FUNCTION, ANYMORE. I'VE TAKEN ON TOO MUCH WATER. EVERYONE KNOWS I CAN PUSH. EVERYONE KNOWS I HAVE PUSHED HARDER THAN ANYONE, IN A GOOD WAY, OR NOT...BUT I HAVE PUSHED.

I'M OUT OF STEAM. COMPLETELY OUT. IF YOU OFFERED ME A JOB NOW, I COULDN'T EVEN DO IT. WE'RE TALKING A DIFFERENT KIND OF HELP NOW. THE KIND OF HELP TO TRY AND SIMPLY KEEP ME HANGIN' IN THERE FOR ONE MORE DAY, BUT I'M NOT SURE IT'S WORTH IT.

4PM UPDATE: Good intentions today turn out to be more empty full of shitism. Someone told me they could help me get into a single room if I went to St. Joseph's in Venice and signed up for a HUD voucher. The person called me last week, and made it sound like they were ready to hand me the keys, practically. The developer of the unit even called me to tell me where to go to get a HUD voucher (St. Joseph's). I spoke with them today, and of course, as we already know, there aren't any HUD vouchers until 2010. But they invited me to come over today and fill out forms for a possible voucher in 2010.

SO TO THE DEVELOPER AND THE PERSON WHO TOLD ME THAT WAS COMING DOWN THE PIKE (AND I'VE BEEN HEARING ABOUT IT FOR OVER A YEAR, ALREADY)...I'LL JUST HANG IN THERE UNTIL NEXT YEAR, EVEN THOUGH I AM READY TO WALK IN FRONT OF A MOVING BUS, TODAY.

SLEEP DEPRIVATION: IT'S A BITCH!

WHO IS TRYING TO RE-SET MY PASSWORD?: AND I WONDER WHO THE PERSON IS WHO IS TRYING TO RE-SET MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT PASSWORD. I SURE KNOW THAT IT WASN'T ME, BUT GOOGLE SENT ME AN EMAIL SAYING THAT SOMEONE WAS TRYING TO RE-SET IT AROUND 1:30PM TODAY. SORRY IT DIDN'T WORK, THIS TIME. BUT IF THERE IS A DOCUMENT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE, JUST SEND AN EMAIL TO ZUMADOGG@GMAIL.COM, LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU WANTED TO SEE, AND I'LL FORWARD IT TO YOU.

Grand Ave Project PENSION MONEY INVESTOR, McFarlane RESIGNS in CalPERS, Apollo (Magic Johnson) Money Group Scandal (BIGGEST ZD CALL EVER!)

Wow! I remember when I was reviewing the Master Plan for Eli Broad's CRA/City Council/Board of Stupidvisor NIGHTMARE project, Grand Ave Project for LA Weekly over two years ago when I noticed some guy McFarlane was pushing pension money into this bogus project that I felt wasn't going to happen (which it hasn't) -- and saw McFarlane's company was pushing pension money in other shady Downtown real estate projects.

I blogged about it originally in this giant article about the Grand Ave Project (not the LA Weekly article)...AND, we have all heard Zuma Dogg go ON and ON and ON about pension money in shady and risky investments.

From ZD's Grand Ave Project Blog (Originally posted June 9, 2009)

I'm sure you will be reading much more about the overall details of the project (specifics of what it includes, business plan, comments from experts and community leaders, and the whole enchilada. Because how could you not? It's the biggest, most interspicably intertwined project in City, State or US History. Because you have the CRA, City Council, County -- AND, a private developer, Related Co. (working with CALPERS, the pension money people who fund MacFarlane, who work with Related Cos.) ALL coming together for this one massive project, that has part of the details, sort of worked out...and they'll figure out the rest as they go along. (A $2 billion dollar starting point of a "wink and a handshake" to allow everyone to start spending and making the money!)

AND SATURDAY WAS THE MOST TRIUMPHANT DAY IN MY THREE AND HALF YEARS OF INVESTIGATIVE BAMBOOZLE-BUSTING. Because that little old hunch that seemed shady to Zuma Dogg, so I started blasting about it on my blog and at Council until they finally pulled it out of Grand Ave Project, finally hit REUTERS as the guy I tripped over (Victor McFarlane) in that HUGE Grand Ave Project memo off Eli's desk RESIGNED. (I almost scrolled right past it in the massive memo that Zuma Dogg wasn't supposed to even have. Whew!)

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – The real estate investment manager who led the California Public Employees' Retirement System, the nation's largest pension fund, into a money-losing land venture has resigned as an adviser to the fund, a spokeswoman for MacFarlane Partners said on Saturday.

Victor MacFarlane, chief executive of MacFarlane Partners, terminated his relationship with the $200 billion pension fund, spokeswoman Julie Chase said via email.

"I can confirm MacFarlane Partners, on its own initiative, resigned as manager of California Urban Investment Partners, LLC, for reasons agreed to and accepted by Calpers," Chase said.

California Urban Partners was set up in 1995 as an investment vehicle for Calpers, former basketball star Earvin "Magic" Johnson and MacFarlane to acquire and develop retail properties in urban markets in California, most with high concentrations of minority residents, a Calpers news release said.

MacFarlane Partners Inc is a real estate investment management firm in San Francisco that manages $10 billion in assets for some of the world's largest pension plans and institutions, according to its website.

The firm came under fire for a $970 million investment it managed for Calpers into LandSource Communities Development LLC, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday.

LandSource filed for bankruptcy in 2008, about 18 months after Calpers had bought into company, whose primary investment was a 15,000-acre (6100-hectare) tract of undeveloped land outside Los Angeles.

Calpers had invested in the development through its investment partner, MW Housing Partners, which was jointly managed by MacFarlane Housing and Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors, Calpers said in a 2008 press release said.

MW Housing held a 68 percent interest in LandSource, whose holdings were hit hard by the California real estate bust, it said.

The separation comes as Calpers examines its relationships with private equity firm Apollo Global Management and other outside money managers.

Calpers said earlier this month that its probe centers on around $50 million in payments that outside managers made over a five-year period to ARVCO Financial Ventures LLC, a firm headed by former Calpers board member Al Villalobos, to win the pension fund's business.

A Calpers representative could not be reached for comment on Saturday.

MORE FROM ZUMA DOGG'S ORIGINAL GRAND AVE PROJECT BLOG POST/DISCOVERY:

MacFarlane works with Related Co (the project developers) elsewhere in the city.
And if actually HAD any pension money to invest, I would put in a stipulation that none of it may be invested in this risky, speculative, un-necessary project, with only detail for one (of three phases) worked out, and no guarantee that the project has enough funding to even be completed. (And all kinds of loopholes that allow developers to "filp" the project to new operators, once any part (office, housing, retail) is completed -- AND allows developers to scale back on the number of affordable housing units required.

Why pension money is risky investment: The City is tied in to the success or failure of this project with the private developers (Related) for the term of the 99 year lease. If construction costs over-run, the City gets hit, if we can’t find someone to build the five star Mandarin Hotel (and there is concern that we may not find someone willing to build more luxury hotel accommodations in the area, the city takes a hit. (See Bonneventure) If retail revenues and occupancy rates do not generate to the levels promised, the city takes a hit (because what we gave was based on what we expected to take in).

What if the project never even gets completed?

UPDATE: As of today, it still ain't happening...AT ALL!

AND HERE'S A ZD BLOG POST FROM SATURDAY THAT TIES INTO THIS IN A MAJOR WAY. I CAN'T BELIEVE I POSTED IT THE SAME DAY MCFARLANE RESIGNED!!! (I WENT ALL WEEKEND UNTIL JUST NOW, 5 AM MONDAY WITHOUT KNOWING!!! I COULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY ALL WEEKEND!

People Organized for Westside Renewal (POWER) Invite You To PUBLIC HUD (Housing & Urban Development) Meeting THURSDAY with HUD's Bessy Kong. from D.C.

[Pictured: Maybe these are some of the people waiting for the HUD vouchers they keep saying are on the way. Meanwhile, the banks have been bailed out, but more of Steve Perry's "street light people" seem to be taking to the streets in Marina Del Rey, not too far from Thursday's HUD meeting about the Westside. Demand an end to demolition of public housing! Thursday, October 29, 2009: 6:00-7:30pm - Mar Vista Gardens Gymnasium, 4901 Marionwood Dr., Culver City, CA [ZD hears about 500 people expected. Need to be there with my "ZumaCAM!"]

  • In 1998 Congress began funding the HOPE VI program to demolish and “redevelop” public housing…
  • Around 80% of tenants who have been evicted from public housing have never come back to their communities.
  • There are currently about 1 million public housing units in use. These homes are making the difference between success and destruction for the millions of Americans who live in them.
  • We are working with Congressional leaders to pass real housing reform...
  • HUD can help us! We need a moratorium on the demolition and disposition of public housing!

Mary Benson Balks At City Council Meeting During Her Public Comment Time (She Mocks Zuma Dogg, But Couldn't Pull Off ONE Public Comment....LOL!)

[Editor's Note: You KNOW it's a cranky RANT, when it's all one paragraph!]

Mary Benson has a looooooooong way to go before she can POP OFF with her big, overly-long winded (to the point of a bureaucratic filibuster) mouth at Zuma Dogg for the way he spent HIS time at city hall and "card board box" living conditions that ensued as a result. During the recent CD 2 City Council debates (forum, actually) Ms. Benson felt the need to "take off the gloves" and attack Zuma Dogg (a fellow grass roots candidate, and the grass roots candidates were supposed to attack the BIG 3 MONEY candidates, not each other, Mary) in response to my comments during the campaign that, "of all the candidates on the ballot, I am the only person who has attended a majority of the meetings over the past three years, and went over an entire year, without missing a single council meeting. And there is NO ONE in the city who can say that. Not any of the elected officials, staffers, members of the public, or anyone. (AND after the year-streak, I just took one day off to prove to myself that I could, and was back the next meeting for another "Lou Gehrig" sting of meetings.) So yes, that's a benefit and advantage worth mentioning, because it provided me with the historic perspective and knowledge of knowing most of what has been happening at a very detailed and complex level, as I have scanned all of the agendas and spent countless hours interviewing/questioning city hall officials, outside experts and members of the public on these top city issues. Ms. Benson took that as an opportunity to say, "not all of us can live in a cardboard box..." EXCUSE ME! It's true I was willing to dedicate myself and make a commitment in a way no one else ever has, and I had no business making that commitment if I ended up on the streets and now so burnt out, I think I'm beyond returning to the functionality I was enjoyed. BUT MARY BENSON CAN STILL KISS MY ASS...BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T EVEN WALK ONE DAY IN ZD'S SHOES! LOL! SHE COULDN'T EVEN MAKE IT THROUGH ONE COUNCIL MEETING! On Friday, Mary showed up for her big public comment at the council meeting, because she is running for City Council. Not THIS election, but the next CD 2 election in a year in a half. (She has ZERO chance of winning, because this election there was no incumbent [open seat], but next time, there will be an incumbent, and she ain't gonna beat THAT...PLUS the other BIG MONEY candidates that will run next time, as well.) But campaigning, she is. And that's nice. BUT, Friday she shows up to the council meeting and sits in that first row (on-camera) position you are familiar with seeing Zuma Dogg sit in awaiting his hundreds and hundreds of comments. Because it's NICE to sit in that first "on camera" seat in the first row, because it allows people to know, "O.K., Zuma's there and waiting to speak." (For the people who tune in to see ZD, and might not STAY tuned in, if they aren't sure if I'm coming up. Like a "coming up" bug on your screen.) So Mary did that on Friday. And there she was in the front row to let everyone watching know, "Look at me...I'm HERE today at the council meeting!!!" But again, it ain't that easy or fun to sit through these long-winded council meetings. And when they called Mary's name to speak, she missed her turn. Whether she was just out of the room for a minute, or left entirely. Either way, for whatever reason she was sitting in the front row, it didn't add up to one, two minute public comment. Zuma Dogg never walks away from a meeting without maxing out the entire seven minutes allowed. So Mary Benson has a loooooooong way to go before she can be proud of any achievements insied council chambers. She obviously took a first stab at it on Friday. But mission aborted. I KNOW I MAKE IT LOOK EASY ON TV, MARY. Now feel free to keep my name out of your mouth and say hello to your pal Walter Moore to me. You both have ONE thing in common. NEITHER ONE OF YOU ARE EVER GOING TO BE IN A RUN-OFF AND YOU BOTH HAD TRASH TO TALK ABOUT ZUMA DOGG. You losers DEFINE yourselves by your candidacies. You walk around saying, "I ran for office and got 'so and so' many votes." And BOTH of you had to do it at the expense of Zuma Dogg. But NEITHER of you could walk ONE DAY in my shoes, losers. LOL!

[Pictured: Mom had to drive the camera out to Barnes and Noble on a Saturday Night when Zuma Dogg was spotted in Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks area. Didn't spend a PENNY in the media to achieve this result.]

SOMEWHAT RELATED: People like Walter Moore and Mary Benson can run their big fat mouths about Zuma Dogg and his activities in the the COUNTIES of Los Angeles and Ventura, but do you have ANY IDEA what it takes to produce the type of public feedback that I am treated to on the streets on a daily basis? Recently, last month, I walked into an upscale bar in Malibu that I hadn't been to in about a year. IMMEDIATELY, many in the crowd flock to ZD to say, "hello," and let me know how much they admired my efforts over the past nine years in the L.A. media. The FIRST person who came up to slap me on the back...BEFORE I even walked in the door as I stood outside the door already greeting people who were already running up to me said, "You're an "f-ing" legend, Zuma Dogg." AND FOR THE RECORD, I'll have you know, Sean Penn, Kid Rock and other Hollywood actors were there that evening, too. AND AMONG THOSE PEOPLE, Zuma Dogg is a legend in that person's mind. AND IT WENT UP HILL FROM THERE. (Ask Jill Stewart what happened in Agoura Hills the first time we ever met at a local bar, there. CONSTANT interruptions by people trippin' that ZD was there, LIVE before their eyes!)

So I don't appreciate being besmirched publicly by mean-spirits like Walter Moore and Mary Benson. I don't think these people are stopping me on the streets calling me, "legend" and all the other accolades you are familiar with because I attack you two losers. Now try and carry on without having to do it at my expense, Mr. Moore and Ms. Benson. AND THAT GOES FOR ANONYMOUS COMMENTS, TOO, Walter!

Villaraiogsa Rolls Legal Dice in Court Over Affordable Housing. That Means He Lost And BLEW IT For the People of Los Angeles

WE NEED TO DRIVE THE MAYOR OF L.A. OUT OF TOWN. THIS DANGEROUS CLOWN HAS GOTTA GO. I THINK WE MIGHT HAVE TO GIVE HIM A SHOVE:

Is there anything this guy doesn't blow? All he does is blow his job as mayor. He's one big "blow the job." Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraiogsa, once again, losing in court and further destroying the city. Do you think he is trying to drive the city into the ground on purpose, toward some other bigger goal or mission? If not, this guy is going down in history as the most pathetic and dumb loser in L.A. City history.

Decision in Favor of Downtown Housing Developer Could Affect Mayor’s Affordable Housing Plan
by Anna Scott, Staff Writer
Published: Thursday, October 22, 2009 3:23 PM PDT
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES –The California Supreme Court today denied the city’s request to review a lawsuit in which Downtown developer Geoff Palmer successfully challenged an affordable housing requirement for City West. The decision could hamper Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s plan to create a citywide low-income housing mandate.

Palmer, one of Downtown’s biggest developers, two years ago sued the city to avoid having to set aside units for low-income tenants in his proposed Piero II apartment complex in City West. He won the case in December 2007, and the city appealed the rulinga risky move, experts have said, becaue the original decision applied only to Palmer’s case, but an appellate court ruling would set a precedent not just in Los Angeles, but throughout the state.

Palmer prevailed in the state Court of Appeal in July, and the city subsequently filed a petition asking the California Supreme Court to review the case. That request was denied today, making the appellate court decision final.

City Attorney Carmen Trutanich’s office could not provide an immediate comment on the potential ramifications to Villaraigosa’s housing plan, though a city consultant warned several months ago that a ruling in Palmer’s favor could prevent the city from applying the measure to rental housing.

Zuma's PENSIONGATE Wetherly Captial/Vivendi Entertainment BACK IN THE NEWS?

Remember the good old days from last May/June when Zuma Dogg bumped into an Insider Source who worked with the Wetherly Captial crew on retainer and goes way back with CRA's Chairman William H. Jackson, who is/was also Wetherly Captial's big time attorney. Well, there was a story in this week's news headlines that is a follow up to this past spring's PensionGate blogging. So for those of you who followed that, here's some new stuff from Zuma's Source:

Here is what I blogged this week in response to some new headlines on PensionGate:

From:
Zuma Dogg <zumadogg@gmail.com>
Date: October 23, 2009 7:09:54 AM PDT
Subject: Zuma Report : CalPERS Pensiongate Update: HOW AND THE HELL DOES ONE PERSON END UP WITH $53 MILLION OF STATE PENSION MONEY?

Did Zuma Dogg NOT Warn You About Apollo?: http://ladailyblog.blogspot.com/2009/10/calpers-pensiongate-update-how-and-hell.html

AND HERE IS THE NEW FOLLOW UP FROM "MR. SOURCE" THAT HE SENT OUT TO HIS OWN MASSIVE EMAIL DATABASE. VERY COMPELLING AND INTERESTING IF YOU CAN FOLLOW IT. KINDA INSIDE. MOST OF YOU MAY WANT TO SKIP TO THE NEXT POST:

Look at how clean and precise is Zuma Dogg's blog; and equally important he, who lives on the streets of LA, continues to follow the biggest story which I was the first to tell the world about back in late 2001 when Wetherly Capital Group, who had me on retainer, organized two meetings with California Governor Gray Davis on December 28th, 2001, the first involving the top officials of Vivendi here on US soil and the second, ten minutes later, Davis met with my close colleague Dr. Rod Smith Phd

Not to mention what the "RULE OF LAW" means when you have a lawyer like Professor Joe Grunfest Esq., when presented with the opportunity to see the irrefutable "smoking gun proof" of voter fraud, has the arrogance to write me back, "Could I stop you?" - click HERE; to mention little of Grundfest who was most familiar with my ability to flush out corruption at the highest levels, was a former commissioner of the totally fraudulent Securities and Exchange Commission that is no different to the US Federal Reserve who understand perfectly well how my former employer, De Beers gets to see each and every Wall Street deal before it is shown to the likes of big name investment firms like Goldman Sachs who then flog their crap to the unsuspecting masses.

Again, once I got wind of the "greasing of the wheels" I made Vicky Schiff, the co-managing director of Wetherly Capital Group, aware that I would not stand idly by as they committed voter fraud in the upcoming California Gubernatorial elections, which resulted in Vivendi's stock beginning, on January 3rd, 2002, the day I had Marie get her very carefully crafted will witnessed by an attorney neighbor, a precipitous collapse; Vivendi and its 63% owned sister corporation, Vivendi Environmental losing US$ 63 billion in market value over a continuous period of 280 days; and no surprise that Ms. Schiff and I jointly owned a safety box at Union Bank on 15th Street in downtown Del Mar, whose box number was 280, and the contents included the original agreement between herself and me before Wetherly Capital Group put me on retainer.

A great many people have seen the original documents that talk to this massive voter fraud involving the top government official of the State of California in what was back then the 5th largest economy in the world, and again the only question is when did the media become corrupt; i.e. when did the democracy here in the US start; and the answer of course is that democracy has never existed in the US and more importantly, the US has been the greatest exporter of tyranny in the history of the world.

For those who want to know what Ms. Schiff as well as the entire California State Government with of course inextricably close ties to the US Federal Government are thinking, why not communicate directly with Ms. Schiff -- and start out by having her share her best recollections of this safety box.

ALSO: Which just 2 weeks after those two most important meetings [December 28th, 2001] that were 10 minutes apart, Vicky Schiff, Dan Weinstein and Joe Campos who set up both meetings Governor Davis journeyed to the desert to meet with the CEO of Vivendi Environmental, Andy Seidel and the General Counsel Staneck who attended along with Joe Campos the first meeting with Gray Davis; and immediately after this November 11th meeting which Rod Smith and I protested against, Seidel headed to Paris for a board meeting of Vivendi whose CEO Jean-Marie Messier knew they were already in big trouble without having to hear from Seidel that it was just a matter of time before the world would know of how desperate was Vivendi that they would risk getting caught "red handed".
