From today's LA Times: Krekorian said (during today's CD 2 City Council debate) the city is “facing too many crises right now to have the captain of the ship running off to run for another office.” (In response to Villaraigosa not running for Governor.)

Isn't the State as bad off as the city, and isn't Paul Krekorian doing exactly what he just criticized Antonio for?

Don't be a naive douche-bag...PLEASE Vote for Christine Essel on December 8th. THINK HOW BAD KREKORIAN MUST BE IN MY MIND TO FEEL THE NEED TO PUSH SO HARD FOR ESSEL.

Carmen Trutanich, Dennis Zine, Bill Rosendahl, Police Protective League, David Hernandez, Zuma Dogg ALL agree that Krekorian needs to be defeated. Richard Alarcon endorses Krekorian. AlarCON and his ASSembly crew is FAR WORSE.

Krekorian is so full of shit, there are dangerous levels of methane gas fumes all around him. Don't light a match. This guy is so shady, the temperature is a few degrees cooler around him. This guy is so shameless, even Antonio is jealous in admiration.

SUMMARY: The State ASSemblyman who was Bass's "top brass" in the bankrupting budget process and has left the biggest mess in history that STILL hasn't been worked out feels that it would have been wrong for Antonio to run for another office saying, “facing too many crises right now to have the captain of the ship running off to run for another office.”

Shitty Clowncilmember Richard Alarcon seems to have gotten the lousier location in this strip mall that features a medical marijuana collective. This is outrageous! We can't be having this kind of thing besmirching the reputation of the other businesses and offices in this plaza and bringing down the property value. We can't be having all the unsavory criminal element that is attracted to places like this...ALARcon should be forced to move his offices away from this medical dispensary! These patients shouldn't be forced to have to mingle with Alarcon's office business. (And Alarcon is just jealous that the co-op is skimming more money that HE is! HEY...LET'S NOT FORGET WHO THE GODFATHER IS IN THE AREA! (Better take some of that money upstairs to let him "wet his beak." (Just consider it one of your twice daily required money drops.)

Based on this page, I can see...SEED, GRO & FEED (& MOO?) could be looking good based on Monsanto news. (Only thing...SEED was UP 20% today, based on other news about the company...so that's kinda scary...but again...based on this page...those three could be BIG...BUT, since ZD is jumping in late with this...I AM NOT SAYING BUY IT NOW. THAT IS NOT MY FIRST OFFICIAL SIGN, YET.

BUT, while we're on the topic...LONG TERM...I like Gold ETFs (See List) and WATER ETFs, cause I think we are always going to need water (PIO, PHO). In the VERY NEAR future, I think OIL ETFs that SHORT oil prices will go UP (yes, I think oil prices will come down in SHORT RUN...as in "day trader" timing)...BEFORE they have to raise the prices for whatever reason they come up with. My reasoning is that global demand seems to be down, while reserves are UP...so that may drive it down -- short term...but again, ZD feels the oil sheiks are always going to end up getting the price they want, one way or the other. So if prices dip, too much...look for some oil refinery pipe to explode -- cutting off supply for a while, or something like that. (Paying them in the weak dollar will also force them to have to raise prices...cause they still want to make the same amount of profit...no matter HOW much money The US FEDS want to keep printing up. (Hope they don't dump the dollar and start accepting another currency. Maybe they'll just as to be paid in gold and diamonds. ZD would take that currency over the dollar, any day. (Can I have my EBT "General Relief" paid in YEN?

ZD feels we can be in for some fun market volatility which is a chance to day trade like crazy on some of these ETFs. Today was a mild day, but I'll start posting some REAL PICKS FOR THE DAY if the "Rainman -- 10 Minutes to Wapner" feeling kicks-in and then we can track my record. It's a little harder to do these days, because so much stimulus money is being printed and dumped into the system it is artificially propping up the entire market -- AND, you have to factor that in. But my concern is it WILL come crashing down. Just a matter of this week, next month or sometime in 2010. And when it crashes, it's too late then.
