(That's pretty bad!)]A lot of attention is being focused on the California Gubernatorial election, coming up between Meg Whitman, Steve Poizner and Jerry Brown.
But another election that requires your urgent attention is the Lieutenant Governor (Lt Gov) election.
Los Angeles City Councilmember Janice Hahn has thrown her hat into the ring and is running against political slickster Gavin Newsom.
IT IS URGENT that you hold your nose and vote for Gavin Newsom - and please remember to register to vote and remember to vote for the LT GOV election, as well.

Because although LT GOV is not that crucial of a position: IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO THE GOVERNOR (whoever that ends up being) THEN JANICE HAHN WOULD BE GOVERNOR.
That is a scarier thought than ANYTHING Steven King could come up with. Those of us in the City of Los Angeles already know this. Imagine if Jerry Brown is Governor, and he can't serve out his entire term (and at his age that is a factor, unfortunately) -- or if he is in his second term and can't finish it.
I'M NOT SURE WHAT I WANT IN LIFE...BUT I SURE AS HELL KNOW WHAT I DON'T WANT: THE THOUGHT LOOMING IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD THAT JANICE HAHN COULD BECOME GOVERNOR THROUGH SOME TRAGEDY OR CONTROVERSY THAT WOULD ALLOW HER TO SLIP INTO THE SEAT.
I post this warning as a compassionate act for the decency and well-being of humanity.

AND REMEMBER...it sickens me to say it but: GAVIN NEWSOM FOR LT GOV. It's MUCH, MUCH less sickening than the thought of Janice Hahn in Sacramento.
