L.A. City News Tweets for Tuesday Morning February 8, 2011

WHOLE FOODS VENICE was the place to be for Venice Neighborhood action as a clean shaven ZD bumped into LA Weekly's Tibby Rothman who was talking with a couple Venice NC/community members. ZD mentioned a meeting they didn't know about, so someone busted out their cell phone to call Linda Luchs and said, "Hi, Linda, I'm standing here with Zuma Dogg at Whole Foods and he said..." (LOL! That's like saying, "Hi Roman Polanski...I'm standing here with District Attorney Steve Cooley.") Of course Councilman Rosendahl's office was a big topic. And just in time for a nice ambush from all sides -- CD 11 Chief of Staff Mike Bonnin comes walking in. He was hammered from all sides, all at once. All the poor guy could say was, "This is why I never come here until after 10pm." Meanwhile, I think there were enough people to constitute a quorum, and Zuma Dogg is gonna sue for Brown Act violations!

AND SPEAKING OF VENICE AND BILL'S OFFICE...I TOOK A RESTFUL AND RELAXFUL BREAK FROM MY BIPOLAR ENERGY BLOGGING AGAINST CITY HALL...CAUSE WE SPOKE ON FRIDAY...BUT I HOPE I HEAR SOMETHING FIRST THING TUESDAY FROM THE COUNCIL OR CITY ATTORNEY OFFICE.

And as usual, please don't make me have to say it twice. I wanna have a nice, calm day, and so does everyone else. PLEASE DON'T UNLEASH THE BIPOLAR GENIE...Please be ass-kissing, "yes-men" and tell me what I want to hear. (I have a feeling I'll be hitting the blog running in the morning with HARDBALL, bipolar-fueled blog posts...based on the uncertainty of it all...
