8/9/11 UPDATE: Zuma Dogg Weighs in on Council's Approval To "Move Forward" on AEG/Stadium, Wall Street vs L.A. Pension Fund, & REAL L.A. JOB CREATION!

[PICTURED: A sign of the times. ZD seeing MORE and MORE of these, with each weekend. Gettin' kinda hectic!]

WHEN YOU HEAR FED CHAIR BER-KNUCKLEHEAD-NAKIE SPEAK, besides having his drone, depression tone, hypnotize you into a coma...IT REMINDS ME OF EVERYTHING L.A. CITY, just went through, over the past couple years, when trying to "solve" their own, budget mess. (Since L.A. is always a cutting-edge city, leading the rest of the nation, including this current, national, U.S. budget crisis.)

Besides Berschmuckie saying such L.A. City Hall CAO cliches, such as, "We were overly-optimistic in our projections for an economic recovery," the U.S. credit was downgraded, just like L.A. City's. And you hear the U.S. government officials screaming, "We NEED to create jobs, NOW!" (As though they haven't been trying, all along, and are just gonna get started, now.)

So when you see what spendaholic L.A. City Council had to do to solve the crisis (Early retirement, furloughs, layoffs, staff and service reductions), that are now, CLEARLY VISIBLE throughout the streets of Los Angeles, as city trash bins overflow, un-emptied by city workers, EVEN IN THE LUXURY PARTS OF THE CITY, I think you can project where the U.S. is headed and what you can expect to see. [L.A. City Council making cuts, is like a vampire walking around at 12 noon, in July, sippin' wheat grass juice, instead of blood.]

Except, EVEN WORSE...City Council is a MIS-MANAGED, indecisive body, as a non-partisan elected body, even though it's really 13/15 Democratic. (And the other two are Republican In Name Only.) SO IMAGINE THE BUDGET SOLUTION GRIDLOCK ON THE COMBATIVE "HATFIELD & McCOY," Democrat vs Repulican battle field. (GONNA BE DOWNGRADED TO "JUNK BOND" STATUS, I AM NOT KIDDING, AND DESERVEDLY SO!)
