Wall Street Journal Libels Zuma Dogg In Attempt To Defame Character of Quality Management Consultant, Political Activist & Mayoral Candidate

HOW DOES ONE EXPRESS FRUSTRATION, OTHER THAN TO SUE? THIS IS SERIOUS! WALL STREET JOURNAL? I MAY AS WELL PULL PLUG ON ALL ACTIVITIES! THIS HAS CAUSED TREMENDOUS SHAME, EMBARRASSMENT, EMOTIONAL DURESS...BECAUSE of the harm and damage it just did to my reputation, only to be BLASTING IT ALL ACROSS THE WORLD, ONLINE!!! I CAN NEVER RISE TO THEIR LEVEL OF READERSHIP TO COMBAT THIS! - Zuma Dogg

OR TO PUT IT IN LEGAL TERMS OF THE PER SE LAWSUIT TO BE FILED: "Wall Street Journal printed defaming material, leading with a exaggerated misstatement, by maliciously falsifying the condition of Plaintiff's mental health."

I was SHOCKED today, when I was contacted by a long time friend and associate, of mine, who had concerns about me after reading an article about me (Zuma Dogg) in today's online edition of Wall Street Journal.

In an article about Zuma Dogg's visit at the Occupy LA encampment on the lawn of City Hall, it refers to me as, "Zuma Dogg, the sometimes-utterly-insane City Hall gadfly."

Wall Street Journal is known to be a credible investigative news source for the business world. The internet is saturated with bloggers, but when Wall Street Journal prints something, in their "Business" section, people expect there was research and confirmation of facts presented.

Wall Street Journal is not licensed to make an unverified, unsubstantiated medical diagnosis. They did not make any attempt to contact me to verify the libelous and false "insane," diagnosis. My actual diagnosis is for "bipolar disorder," which is a much more common medical diagnosis in which the individual is able to be more functional and productive.

VIDEO: Wall Street Journal's unverified, false accusation will most likely hurt my chances of be invited back on TV shows like this FOX 11 NEWS appearance; and it certainly damaged my reputation and credibility in the minds of the public, at large.

In addition to the false, unverified, libelous term of "insane," to describe Mr. Dogg, the addition of the words, "sometimes-utterly" insane go to show there was malicious and defamatory intent to cause harm and damage to my reputation as an internationally recognized and published "Quality & Productivity" management consultant; political activist/journalist/blogger; and current candidate in the 2013 Los Angeles Mayoral Election.

HERE'S A NATIONAL TALK SHOW HOST SAYING, "I HAVE HIS VOTE," after speaking for a couple minutes to U.S. radio morning drive audience.

Why does it say, "SOMETIMES UTTERLY" insane. If it's only, "sometimes," why is it mentioned in the first sentence? And the overall context of, "sometimes 'utterly' insane," in whole, appears to be intentional in it's defamation. Not even merely, "insane," "UTTERLY INSANE!" ("Utterly is an extreme term, as well.) Perhaps Wall Street Journal supports another candidate in the 2013 L.A. Mayoral Election and is trying to discredit me and my campaign by referring to me as "insane." That is seen as a lot more severe in the minds and opinion of the voting public, than mere bipolar disorder.

And as a recognized author in field of "quality and productivity," being referred to as "insane," (a medical diagnosis) by Wall Street Journal, now on the internet, forever; and can never be removed, due to "cached" pages and all the re-post; plus all the readers who have already seen it, I feel embarrassed, humiliated, and my reputation has been forever damaged and discredited.

I am therefore seeking damages in the amount of $1.8 million dollars.

Zuma Dogg

11/4/11 1 AM UPDATE: WALL STREET JOURNAL, PLEASE CEASE AND DESIST FROM FURTHER REPUBLISHING OF YOUR LIBELOUS PRINTED COMMENTS ABOUT ME! I JUST NOTICED ON MY BLOG STATS BOARD, OVER 125 VIEWS IN ABOUT THE PAST HOUR, Pacific Time (ENTIRE EAST COAST IS SLEEPING, and MOST PEOPLE IN WEST COAST!) So over 125 views in 1 AM hour is A LOT for my blog.

So I do a Google search for "Zuma-Dogg" to see where all the traffic is coming from:

GUESS IT'S NOT JUST "BUSINESS" NEWS, BUT "REAL ESTATE" NEWS! WHY DON'T YOU JUST MAKE BARACK OBAMA ANNOUNCE IT AT NEXT "STATE OF UNION" ADDRESS!!!

HERE'S A LOCAL L.A. TALK SHOW HOST, "GIVING CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE," regarding my exposure to L.A. City Hall corruption that the FBI is now investigating. (Wall St Journal damaged my credibility in this area.)

NOTE: I feel I need to post this, immediately, in case anyone who sees the printed article on Wall Street Journal website, may have a chance to read this clarification. Thank you. Here are some quotes from elected officials, media, internationally recognized and respected business consultants/authors and the public at large, in my defense:

After police tried to stop Zuma Dogg from taping the council deliberations, he railed against the big shots for months, slamming Garcetti as “Garshady” on his show and on his whistleblower blog. “Whatever happened to free speech in this country?,” Zuma Dogg asked. He prevailed against Garcetti’s rules, and now brings his cameracorder to every council meeting, as can any member of the public thanks to him." - LA Weekly.

* " Zuma Dogg has distinguished himself as a "mix of curiosity and crusader" fighting for what he considers his free-speech rights."He's been able to do it with humor and at times be more direct and substantive." Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti/Los Angeles Times

* "Zuma Dogg, not only one of the most recognizable figures at City Hall, cordially greeted by passersby, including security guards and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, he also has the ear of high-level insiders, who feed him information in the hope that he’ll expose, and possibly stop, one questionable government project or another." - LA Weekly

* ""He wakes us up; it gets everyone's attention." L.A. City Controller Wendy Greuel/Los Angeles Times

(GOOD! I THINK IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ENOUGH FOR MOST PEOPLE, IF MY ONLY DISTINCTION WAS WAKING THEM UP!)

* "Something between stunned and amazed. "I've never seen anything like it." - Former California Assembly Speaker, Councilman Herb Wesson/Los Angeles Times

THANKS TO THE NEARLY 10,000 PEOPLE who voted for "Zuma Dogg" in the last Los Angeles Mayoral election. (Not a bad number to pull, considering the historically low voter turnout, and the fact that ZD didn't spend a penny on his campaign, and didn't have the luxury of one flier." The mayor spent $3 million, just for comparison.)

* "Zuma Dogg, who is smarter than and knows more about city government than most Council members, has become something of an urban folk hero, skewering City Hall foibles and failures in his frequent public comment appearances broadcast on Channel 35. His campaigns for mayor and now CD2 attracted respectable numbers of votes for a candidate who was not only is penniless but homeless." - Ron Kaye/RonKayeLA.com (IMAGINE IF I HAD PENNIES TO WORK WITH!)

* "It would be nice to see someone with the heroism of Zuma Dogg in office." - Kevin James/870-KRLA Radio

Guess networks and cable channels couldn't come up with anything as good as "Zuma Dogg" for all their mulit-million dollar budgets and writers and producers and directors and technical crew and marketing departments. BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE WERE WATCHING "ZUMA DOGG" INSTEAD OF YOU...AND I HAD TO DO IT BY CATCHING THEIR ATTENTION IN A CHANNEL SURF, WITH THE (BY FAR) LOWEST PRODUCTION VALUE OF ANY SHOW IN TELEVISION HISTORY. I WIN, LOSER!:

* "I've seen the future of television comedy. Zuma Dogg is the only American comedian today wearing the comedy-genius mantle once borne by Lenny Bruce, Allen Funt and Andy Kaufman." - Michael Heaton/Syndicated Pop-Culture Columnist
UNSOLICITED EMAIL COMMENTS FROM GENERAL PUBLIC, AT LARGE:

I was not at all prepared for the brilliance of your show.

In all honesty I was absolutely blown away. It was the most fresh, funniest, innovative thing that I've seen on television in the past five years

You're a genius! When can we catch more shows? Do you have any of your old shows available?

honestly, you may have been the funniest person i've ever seen. I was laughing so hard I woke up my girlfriend.

If i owned a big TV company your show would be on 24/7!! I have never laughed so hard for so long, it's awesome. Can't wait for the next one, me and my friends will be talkin about it for a week! lol...

[WILL BE HARD TO GET A SHOW ON A BIG TV COMPANY, NOW, AFTER THE DEFINITION WALL STREET JOURNAL USED TO DESCRIBE ME. Kinda hard to insure/deal with.]
