CABLE NEWS/TALK RADIO: REPUBLICAN TALKING POINTS: MESSAGE REPUBLICANS Need To HAMMER DEMOCRATS With!

I became political activist vs L.A. City Council. The meetings are televised on TV, repeatedly; and I've done 1000s of televised comments. HERE'S a summary of how I would attack Democrats, if I were a guest on one of those cable news shows; or a radio talk show host. I've never been a Democrat or Republican, by definition; but of COURSE, I could never join the type of logic Nancy Pelosi tries to get away with.

ZUMA DOGG POLITICAL STRATEGY: They say they are YOUR party. They are there to provide for you and protect your from cutbacks to the bone, by Republicans. But, look around, People? Look at YOUR community? You are being used, as political props/puppets. But, you don't get what you were promised. The White House send FEDERAL money to your State and City to provide food, shelter and services for low-income, disabled and seniors. Money to redevelop your community. Money for YOU and your community. But, the money never makes it to you and the community. It's given to billionaires, like Solyndra. And, in L.A., $50 million to redevelop the community, was given to a billionaire, to build his museum parking garage. The politicians friends and family members sit on the non-profit boards, who distribute the money to the community; then vote the money into their own shill non-profits. BOTTOM LINE: There is a BIG POT OF FEDERAL DOLLARS UP FOR GRABS, every day, in the U.S.A.; and the REASON you become a politician, is to scheme with your cronies and family members; how to pilfer, divert and siphon as much of it AWAY from YOU -- and INTO THEIR POCKETS. BUT, YOU, the low-income people in America vote for people, based on their last name/race/ethnicity, thinking they represent YOUR best interests; but they are ALL their for THEIR own interests, not yours. You don't get what you voted for. Raise YOUR hand if you feel that economic recovery Obama and the Democrats said we just had. How does YOUR neighborhood look? If you want to see some REAL nice community improvement=check the areas where they just built all those upscale, million dollar, condo units. - Zuma Dogg -- http://LACityNews.com

Paper.li Readers: GREETINGS from ZUMA DOGG! (I see you are looking!)

Zuma Dogg (06/26/13)
WOW! I set up a paper.li account, and never really paid much attention to the account; but just saw the stats, and a lot of people are looking at the page, each day. AND, the format looks great -- and it's a great service/format (paper.li), so I will be doing more updating/a better job with it. Some days, there have probably been NO updates.

HERE'S SOME OF MY HISTORY, for new readers. (And, I don't use the term "history," lightly. LOL!

A ZD reader in Wimington, NC sent me a facebook message, asking for my help with HIS local city council on 1st Amendment issues and noted, "Zuma Dogg, I consider you a hero to our nation and The People..." (Thanks!)

And here's what the media, elected officials and more of The People have to say about ZD, just to give the guy in NC some credibility...

* "Andrew Breitbart, try as he might, could never illustrate the disjointed hilarity of Occupy L.A. with the same brilliance."  - LA Weekly on @ZumaDogg

* "I've seen the future of television comedy. Zuma Dogg is the only American comedian today wearing the comedy-genius mantle once borne by Lenny Bruce, Allen Funt and Andy Kaufman." - Michael Heaton/Syndicated Pop-Culture Columnist

* "Brain-seizing artistry. A local underground superstar. -D. Harvey/LA Weekly

* "A public access icon." - M. Fleischer/LA Weekly

* "I'd just as soon vote for Zuma Dogg as Villaraigosa." - Bill Handel/KFI, after having Zuma Dogg on his show for interview.

* "Local Legend" - Doug McIntyre/790-KABC

* "It would be nice to see someone with the heroism of Zuma Dogg in office." - Kevin James/870-KRLA Radio

* Featured on ABC News Nightline, CBS2, KNBC4, KABC7, KCAL9, FOX11 TV and KFI, KABC, K-TALK & KRLA radio as L.A.'s most recognized and respected citizen voice.

* "Zuma Dogg fought the oppressive, tightly controlled L.A. City Council meetings presided over by Council President Eric Garcetti, who had banned video cameras. After police tried to stop Zuma Dogg from taping the council deliberations, he railed against the big shots for months, slamming Garcetti as “Garshady” on his show and on his whistleblower blog. "Whatever happened to free speech in this country?," Zuma Dogg asked. He prevailed against Garcetti’s rules, and now brings his cameracorder to every council meeting, as can any member of the public thanks to him." - LA Weekly.

* "You're actually one of my favorite people to watch on TV." - Former L.A. Mayor Richard Riordan to Zuma Dogg on KABC radio.

* " Zuma Dogg has distinguished himself as a "mix of curiosity and crusader" fighting for what he considers his free-speech rights."He's been able to do it with humor and at times be more direct and substantive." Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti/Los Angeles Times

* "An original ... another treasure of Venice." - Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl

* " A civic treasure." - Michael Higby/Mayor Sam's Blog (L.A. politics)

* "I've seen you on TV. Keep doing what you're doing." - Dennis Franz

* "Zuma Dogg, not only one of the most recognizable figures at City Hall, cordially greeted by passersby, including security guards and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, he also has the ear of high-level insiders, who feed him information in the hope that he’ll expose, and possibly stop, one questionable government project or another." - LA Weekly (Click here for article.)

* ""He wakes us up; it gets everyone's attention." L.A. City Controller Wendy Greuel/Los Angeles Times

(GOOD! I THINK IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ENOUGH FOR MOST PEOPLE, IF MY ONLY DISTINCTION WAS WAKING THEM UP!)

* "Something between stunned and amazed. "I've never seen anything like it." - Former California Assembly Speaker, Councilman Herb Wesson/Los Angeles Times

THANKS TO THE NEARLY 10,000 PEOPLE who voted for "Zuma Dogg" in the last Los Angeles Mayoral election. (Not a bad number to pull, considering the historically low voter turnout, and the fact that ZD didn't spend a penny on his campaign, and didn't have the luxury of one flier." The mayor spent $3 million, just for comparison.)

* "Zuma Dogg, who is smarter than and knows more about city government than most Council members, has become something of an urban folk hero, skewering City Hall foibles and failures in his frequent public comment appearances broadcast on Channel 35. His campaigns for mayor and now CD2 attracted respectable numbers of votes for a candidate who was not only is penniless but homeless." - Ron Kaye/RonKayeLA.com (IMAGINE IF I HAD PENNIES TO WORK WITH!)

* "I too, as you may know, am a Deming fan. I think your synthesis of his work is fabulous." - Anthony Robbins

* "Very Well Done." - Dr. W. Edwards Deming on "Interpreting Deming's 14 Points," by Zuma Dogg. (Published internationally in "Quality Digest." I was told the letter from Deming had to be a fake, cause all he ever did was scribble red ink on everything. Let alone send a response like that. I had to fax the letter to some folks for verification. LOL! Too good to be true. I was in my 20's and was told, they were expecting someone in their 60's or 70's, because it usually takes that long to be able to write something at that level. Awe Shucks!)

* "I especially liked your of explanation Deming's more controversial points." - Don Dewar/Publisher, Quality Digest

* "You not only took our ideas, but expanded them in ways I thought were very interesting." - Al Ries ("Marketing Warfare," "22 Immutable Laws of Marketing," "Focus.")

Guess networks and cable channels couldn't come up with anything as good as "Zuma Dogg" for all their mulit-million dollar budgets and writers and producers and directors and technical crew and marketing departments. BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE WERE WATCHING "ZUMA DOGG" INSTEAD OF YOU...AND I HAD TO DO IT BY CATCHING THEIR ATTENTION IN A CHANNEL SURF, WITH THE (BY FAR) LOWEST PRODUCTION VALUE OF ANY SHOW IN TELEVISION HISTORY. I WIN, LOSER!:

* "A very funny comedian." - Howard Stern

* "Everyone watches Zuma Dogg!" - Reggie Miller/NBA All Star

* "We watch your videos on our tour bus. We need more." - Dean DeLeo (STP)

* "I am such a fan of your show." - Courteney Cox-Arquette

* "Zuma Dogg is Da Bomb!" - Emilio Estevez

* "Love your show buddy. I watch it all the time." - Adam Sandler

UNSOLICITED EMAIL COMMENTS FROM REAL PEOPLE WHO CAUGHT "ZUMA DOGG" DURING AN L.A. CABLE TV CHANNEL SURF:

I was not at all prepared for the brilliance of your show.

In all honesty I was absolutely blown away. It was the most fresh, funniest, innovative thing that I've seen on television in the past five years

You're a genius! When can we catch more shows? Do you have any of your old shows available?

honestly, you may have been the funniest person i've ever see. I was laughing so hard I woke up my girlfriend.

If i owned a big TV company your show would be on 24/7!! I have never laughed so hard for so long, it's awesome. Can't wait for the next one, me and my friends will be talkin about it for a week! lol...

How can I get a copy of tonight's episode? It was the funniest thing I've seen in years. Thank you.

I hope you know you have the best show in the history of the planet!

I was wondering if I could maybe get your Autograph...It would mean alot...I know a ton of kids at my skool that love your show too....They are always talking in your voice and going crazy..

It was so beautiful that I had tears in my eyes. Let's just say I was moved.

I think your show displays a VERY intelligent and socially conscience realistic view of the world and you do it in a very original and very artistic way.

NOBODY HAS DONE WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Keep it up.

i love your show. it is the most excellent thing in all of televisionland.

My name is Lauren and let me begin by saying you are one of the finest displays of unconventional genius I've seen in a long time.

We just wanted to write to let you know how spectacular we thought your show was.

i was just wondering, if there's anyway i can buy your shows on video or something.

I CAN MATCH EVERY ONE OF THESE QUOTES WITH 100 MORE, JUST LIKE IT...but, you will STILL try to come up with a reason why it would NEVER WORK!

"No one would ever watch this. It's not a show. It's not even comedy." - Comedy Central. Meanwhile, I just keep on, keepin' on...growing more legendary and iconic by the day. Like Irene Cara says, "What A Feeling!"

Do you think you are ever going to find anyone who can generate buzz like this? It was all out of an empty pocket, mostly while homeless, as it all unfolded LIVE before the people's eyes on local cable TV, radio, newspapers and internet. (The world's most compelling REAL, reality show.)

STORY: Local public access TV personality, Zuma Dogg was told by City Hall he couldn't set up his amp or sell Zuma Dogg shirts, CDs & DVDs at Venice Beach boardwalk, anymore. ZD protested this 1st Amendment violation of the U.S. Constitution inside the chambers of L.A. City Hall, as televised LIVE throughout the city, and created more political backlash against them than any single voice in history -- and woke up the whole city to the fraud, waste and abuse that pushed the city to the edge of bankruptcy. On October 2010, a Federal Judge agreed with Zuma Dogg, who sued the city over this matter, and issued an injunction against the city as they prepare to pay Zuma Dogg for damages.

It's either an Academy Award worthy movie in the right hands or the biggest cable network talk show in television history.

BREAKING: 2 NEW Pictures of Zuma Dogg (June 26, 2013): As Clean Shaven As He Gets=Look Before It Grows Back

Wow! Doesn't matter WHAT I do (blog posts/videos/etc.)...got more comments on my facebook page when I posted a new picture, cause I just got a rare shave/haircut. I guess I'm just like some Supermodel that people just wanna LOOK at, for sheer aesthetic purposes; and not have to think, too much. ;) Meanwhile, they both hope to never see another Angelino, again. You can catch 'em in Santa Monica. #BetterZoning=BetterQuailtyofLife/People. You kinda have to look down your nose on Angelinos, these day; and I don't like doing that, so I stick to the upscale parts. You think I trip on sidewalk cracks in Santa Monica? NO, because they don't have them.

EXCLUSIVE: DOES APPLE (AAPL) & LAUSD/CALIFORNIA STATE CHARTER iPad DEALS RISE TO LEVEL OF ILLEGAL RACKETEERING. Is LAUSD Buying OLD/OUTDATE APPLE PRODUCT -- AND MAKING PARENTS PAY?

OMG, my HEAD is gonna explode from the shadiness. LAUSD buys old/outdated (for iPads) iPads. Sells them to the STATE, with added cost built-in -- and forces parents to pay/parents get billed. This looks like a mafia-style, illegal racketeering shake-down.
This appears to be serious crony-racketeering. Apple had to dump the outdated product. Deasy/LAUSD is stockholder/used in Apple promo videos/materials. LAUSD flips the iPads to the STATE. And it is decided that parents have to pay $986 for old iPads with common core. [AND, parents have to buy insurance for the iPad. You have a CHOICE of two plans. THIS SOUNDS LIKE ObamaCare APPLIED TO EDUCATION SYSTEM!] Oh, but, if you already have one, you can use it? How many kids already have one? Not the low-income ones, I bet? So, you'll have SOME kids, with their own personal, newest iPad, and others with old ones. 2 class system? I guess if you can't afford to buy an iPad for your kid, you can't go to a State Charter. Kinda seems like an unspoken (Country Club) screening system, to keep out the riff-raff kids. If kids can use their own, personal iPads, from home, I guess the Charters have no restrictions, so students can use facebook (insert obligatory, "and watch porno"), all day. (I don't think kids watch porno. Just watch really DUMB stuff and BAD music videos on YouTube, all day, like Zuma Dogg.) Do the iPads the Charters/LAUSD provide to students have any filters/restrictions.

MOREOVER: The i-Pads are illegal to purchase with school construction bond money as they are equipment that will not last 10 years and it is illegal to pay educators with school construction bond money also according the the LeRoy Greene Act. ALSO: LAUSD claims these iPad devices are a #TechnicalUpgrade, as that is ALL this bond may be used for; in addition to the #UpgradeMustLast10Years+ requirement. A technical upgrade, under bond money conditions, would be for improvements that enhance the BUILDINGS. For example, to make an upgrade that would allow for a #StudentPerClassroom reduction, or make a wing that could be used, if upgraded; to be upgraded. NOT to give iPads to students. If the bond money could be used to buy text books; and you chose to buy iPads, instead; Zuma Dogg would look the other way; if not totally support. Cause iPad is NOT CONSTRUCTION upgrade; but upgrade of textbooks/learning tools. Additionally, if the student drops out or moves; does LAUSD re-claim the iPad? I don't know/doubt it. Remember a few years ago, when LAUSD LOST=COULD NOT FIND=DID NOT EVER FIND...$400 MILLION IN LAUSD computers? Hmmm...wonder if the plan was to let Tony Sopranos crew carry em out the back door? SOMEONE HAS/HAD EM, CAUSE THEY COULDN'T FIND EM. Wonder if we'll be reading about missing iPads. Seems like LAUSD isn't able to manage their own resources. I wonder if criminals/thugs/predators will be targeting LAUSD kids, knowing they got iPads in their backpacks? The Apple contract says they will replace 5% of the value of the contract, for iPads that are lost or break. Do you know how easily an iPad breaks, if you drop it? EASILY. It ain't designed like a Hasbro toy, for wear and tear and dropping. At this point, I should mention, I have blogged over the years how INSANELY RIDICULOUS it is, that the school systems still teach the online/computer generation, with a 1950's era/technology/BIG-HEAVY BOOKS. BUT, these are $600+ iPads (the extra cost, cause they are loaded with #EducationalSoftware, but NO ARGUMENT can be made, that these aren't WAY over-priced, no matter what. BUT, I am ALL FOR electronic/computer innovation for education. HOWEVER, the cost of replacement MUST be considered, because if LAUSD has to pay for every broke/stolen/lost iPad, beyond the 5% of the contract's value; it's gonna get REAL expensive. Plus, LAUSD will spend additional MILLIONS and MILLIONS (hundreds, I have to check the figure) -- in future years, with this iPad contract. As a side note, but noteworthy; LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy is an Apple stockholder and appears in the Apple promo video. Not sure how much stock he owns, and owning Apple stock is not uncommon; but when factored into this equation, makes me wonder, like Robert Plant. MORE TO COME, I'M ALMOST SURE. Wait for the audit in a few years. BUT, the MAIN THING IS: The i-Pads are illegal to purchase with school construction bond money as they are equipment that will not last 10 years  according the the LeRoy Greene Act. http://ZumaDogg.com/.

@ZumaDogg Don't ppl usually get big discounts when buying in bulk?
ZD REPLY: Not when it's shady, on purpose.

If this LAUSD/iPad deal is ANYTHING other than, one iPad for every desk in the classroom; that stays IN the classroom; and remains #LAUSD property; and when the student leaves, it stays with the desk; THEN THIS IS SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT AND FUCKED UP AND SHADY!

ELECTED OFFICIALS DINE AT MOST EXPENSIVE RESTAURANTS IN COUNTY: I was just walking down Main Street/Santa Monica; and timing IS everything, cause Board of County Stupidvisor Don Knabe kinda bumped into me, walking out of Wolfgang Puck's most expensive restaurant, Chinois. Whew....wait, wasn't she public official, too? Oh yeah, she got rich via her crony insider-ism. Then, they introduced me to Don's wife, and I said, "Oh, you're the one who's name everything is under!" I told them it would be our little secret, cause Zuma Dogg ain't supposed to be living the lifestyles of the rich and famous, like those public officials, on Main Street/SaMo. I was there for a .99 cent special at the mini-mart down the street. Glad Don and his wife had THEIR meal covered, too. Good Sacramento Bee Coverage (Article) on Governor Jerry Brown vs Public Records Information Act (He looks like a theif, trying to turn off the security cameras, before a robbery!)

Legislature creates confusion over records bill

Published: Wednesday, Jun. 19, 2013 - 4:24 pm
Last Modified: Wednesday, Jun. 19, 2013 - 6:19 pm
The Legislature's Democratic leaders on Wednesday pledged to address a budget bill that threatens public access to information held by local governments, but to do so in different ways.
The attempts to backtrack on the bill occurred late in the day Wednesday and in chaotic fashion as the Legislature was facing intense public criticism over the measure. The leaders of the Assembly and Senate were at odds about what to do, leading to confusion and leaving the bill's fate uncertain.
Assembly Speaker John Perez said his house would meet Thursday and pass another bill that will maintain a requirement for cities and counties to comply with the California Public Records Act.
But Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg followed that announcement by saying he planned a different solution. He wants to pass the Assembly's bill only if there is evidence in the future that a city or county is not complying.

Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff, R-Diamond Bar, criticized the majority party for reversing course on government transparency and rejecting requests from GOP lawmakers to place budget and budget-related bills in print for public input a minimum of 72 hours before a vote.

"Republicans have serious concerns about 'trust us' being a governing philosophy, particularly when the Democratic supermajority uses its power to do things such as suspending the rules just to avoid having budget bills heard in the budget committee," Huff said in a statement.

The Democratic leaders were reacting after a wave of media editorials called on Brown to veto the bill, which the Legislature passed last week as part of the budget package.
The San Francisco Chronicle said in an editorial Wednesday that the reason given for eliminating the mandate was financial but that state officials could not even say how much the local governments' compliance costs the state.
"So the Legislature and the governor are willing to effectively suspend the state's sunshine laws - which are crucial for the public to know about the government's business - just to save some amount of money that it doesn't even know about. Shameful," the Chronicle editorial board wrote.
The Sacramento Bee wrote in its editorial Wednesday that the Brown administration "is shaping up to be the worst in recent memory for transparent government."
Current law requires government agencies to respond within 10 days and cite reasons if officials need more time to gather the public documents requested or reject the request. But AB76, the bill before Brown, makes it optional for local governments to comply with deadlines and other rules when they receive requests for public records.
By making it optional rather than mandatory, the state would not have to reimburse local governments for the cost, saving the general fund millions of dollars.
The Assembly plan offered Wednesday by Perez is to amend SB71, a companion to the bill already sent to the governor. That version will be identical except that it strips two sections making it optional for local governments to comply with public records requests. Perez's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the Steinberg proposal.
"I think we're a little disappointed that the Senate chose to not put it up for a vote but we are encouraged and we think it's a good thing that the Senate is going to put forth a constitutional amendment because that is going to be the fix to this problem," said Jim Ewert, general counsel for the California Newspaper Publishers Association.

ZUMA DOGG ANALYSIS: John Perez plans on running vs incumbent Governor Jerry Brown; this is the first "throw Brown under the bus," PR move -- and Perez will CRUSH Brown in Governor race; and don't even JOKE about #Villaraiogsa running. (Even if he does=WHO CARES. Life moves on.)

CITIZENS ALERT!!!: CALIFORNIANS ABOUT TO LOSE RIGHTS TO PUBLIC RECORDS/PUBLIC GOVERNMENT INFORMATION!!! Governor Brown Turning Out The Lights on Government Transparency!!!! DEMOCRACY UNDER ATTACK BY CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR!!!! SEND HELP!!!!!

PICTURED: THIEF of PUBLIC RIGHTS/Linda Ronstadt's former boyfriend/Jackass, California Governor of ENDLESS SPENDING=no matter what -- Jerry(atric) Brown:
Gov. Jerry Brown

California Governor Jerry Brown is turning the lights out on the security cameras, to pull the BIG HEISTS!!! Sacramento Democrats are shutting down PUBLIC RECORDS REQUESTS, which is the ONLY way for the PUBLIC to check government transparency. I'm not sure if you grasp the magnitude of this jack move. Basically, putting blindfolds on the public (and on accountability), as they are pulling shadier and shadier stuff; regarding YOUR money; and THEIR actions. He claims to save money. Yeah, BETTER START HERE! Like, PubRecordRequests are the problem. LMFAO! 2013 has REALLY PROVEN to be the END of AMERICA, as it was founded.

From AP/Los Angeles Times:

Gov. Jerry Brown supports temporarily weakening the law that ensures public access to official documents.

(Rich Pedroncelli / Associated Press / June 19, 2013) By Anthony York June 19, 2013, 7:12 p.m.

SACRAMENTO — Gov. Jerry Brown indicated that he would support protecting public access to government records in a constitutional amendment to be voted on next fall, but still supports temporarily weakening the law that ensures public access to official documents.

Brown’s comments, which came in a statement released Wednesday evening, capped a wild day at the state Capitol, which had lawmakers scrambling to cope with the fallout of last week’s vote to water down the law.

At Brown’s urging, both houses approved a measure making local compliance with part of the state’s public records laws optional(Let me guess...they will chose NOT to give your the records.)

The controversy has sparked a rift between Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez (D-Los Angeles), who now supports removing the provision from the state budget approved last week, and Brown and Senate leader Darrell Steinberg (D-Sacramento), who have both indicated that they want a temporary change in the law to save the state millions of dollars. [If Perez is AGAINST the provision (weakening PubRecRequests) -- and Governor Brown SUPPORTS it; this means Perez will be running for Governor, against Brown; and this is the first, "throw Jerry under the bus," PR move on Perez' part.)

If approved by Brown, the legislation would allow cities, counties and local government to “opt out” of some provisions of the law. It is expected to be signed by the governor this week. By Wednesday afternoon, Pérez announced that the Assembly was changing course. “We were opposed to the change from the outset,” Pérez spokesman John Vigna said in explaining the reversal. “It was included as part of a larger budget deal, but seeing the reaction since, we understand Californians care deeply about access to public records.”

Zuma Dogg SPEAKS on City of Los Angeles (A Muncipal CORPORATION) and What YOU Can DO About It!

My name is Zuma Dogg. April 04, 2006, I entered L.A. City Hall, for the City Council meeting, for the first time; about my own personal issue, regarding civil rights (1st Amendment/Constitution) at Venice Beach. While waiting to speak, during the public comment time, I learned a lot, while being forced to listen to the meetings; and especially hear the other peoples' public comment. After the meetings, I would call into radio, to try to alert the masses as to the OUTRAGE that way taking place in council chambers. (What council was doing/approving.) People would respond, "Gee, ZD. L.A. City Council (emphasis on the GREAT L.A. part), are SWELL, really cool people." Eric Garcetti is the GREATEST! What do you mean he's shady? What do you mean council are shady/corrupt?" You didn't hear talk show hosts talking about City Hall. L.A. Times was the best friend of City Hall, never exposing any problem. CUT TO 2013: FUGGEDABOUTIT! EVERYONE KNOWS. It's all you hear and read. It's all people talk about. Everyone knows, now. SO HERE IS THE NEW ZUMA DOGG CONTENT FOR TODAY: The corruption machine is bigger than ever. The bottom has fallen out from under the People; and it ain't even worth trying to make a dent. Not even worth a single huff of the Big Bad Wolf. SO HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO CONSIDER: L.A. City is a MUNICIPAL CORPORATION. As in CORPORATION. A corporation picks it's management team; sets their own agenda; has their own best interest in mind; has their own rules; security on the premises; and you have to play by their rules. Maybe they wanna overpay their employees and pay the janitor $70,000 a year with great benefits. That may drive up costs, but maybe they are trying to be Wolfgang Puck or Nobu and cater to upscale crowd. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A CUSTOMER. In other words, if you ain't happy with L.A. City management and the price to be their customer; you should move. I doubt many of you HAVE to be in L.A. City limits, as a necessity. AND, if you do; too bad. I can't eat at Nobu, though I'd like to. You'll say, "Well, Gee. I thought everything was based on public input; and the mayor and council and police are there to carry out the wishes of the People." That's nice, if you live in Mayberry 1950. Six years ago, there was much more, "feet to the fire," on this stuff. But now, the courts are so short-staffed/clogged up/slow -- the politicians can do whatever they want. If anyone challenges anything in court; it's almost certain, the politician will be termed out; or elected to higher office, before any of the legal mess comes to a head. And, the political machine OWNS the courts. They ain't busting nobody. Look what happened in L.A. In the seven years I've been watching; for all the bankrupting-corruption in L.A., two, low-level building inspectors got busted. LOL! DON'T EXPECT IMPROVEMENT. CORPORATE/BUSINESS ANARCHY MAY FLOURISH IN L.A., cause Building & Safety ain't showin' up to bust no body. Come to Venice, and take a look. SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST TIMES, on the way, in L.A. City of Los Angeles is a "Municipal CORPORATION." If you aren't a fan of the corporation, your only option is to not be a customer.

@ZumaDogg: "Public Comment" (2006-2012): EXPOSING FRAUD/WASTE/ABUSE ("Municipal Mafia Corruption") that brought L.A. City to it's current ECONOMIC & PUBLIC SERVICES WRECK. THE BLUEPRINT OF CORRUPTION & WASTE! Entertaining, even if you are not into political stuff. Look how they try to stop ZD, every step of the way. ZD's Attorney & L.A. City Attorneys have MORE FEDERAL MATTER, regarding these interruptions, to be discussed in Feb 2013 for a ruling by the judge, to follow. [Judge may throw out Council's "rules" for free speech.]

Re: Zuma Dogg [Management/Marketing/City Mngt]
"'Interpreting Deming's 14 Points' is well done." - Dr. W. Edwards Deming.

"Your synthesis of 'Deming's 14 Points' is fabulous." - Tony Robbins

"I enjoyed, much, your article. I took your 'Quality Quiz.' Who's going to grade me?" - Bob Pittman (CEO/Clear Channel)

"You took our concepts and extended them in ways, I thought were very interesting." - Al Ries (Author, "Marketing Warfare," "22 Immutable Laws of Marketing," "Positioning," "Focus," etc.)

"Zuma Dogg fought the oppressive, tightly controlled L.A.

"Zuma Dogg, who is smarter than and knows more about city government than most Council members, has become something of an urban folk hero, skewering City Hall foibles and failures in his frequent public comment appearances broadcast on Channel 35. His campaigns for mayor and city councilattracted a respectable numbers of votes." - Ron Kaye/RonKayeLA.com

THANKS TO THE 10,000 PEOPLE (a Barry Manilow arena of seniors at the pollscause that's who mainly votes) who voted for "Zuma Dogg" in the 2009 Los Angeles Mayoral election (3rd of 9 Challengers). Not a bad number to pull, considering the historically low voter turnout, and the fact that ZD didn't spend a penny on his campaign, and didn't make one flier." The mayor spent $3 million, just for comparison.
