Los Angeles City Budget Emergency Over...Mayor Cancels Blackberrys (Will Cost More In The Longrun)
HEY VILLARAIGOSA...WHY NOT TRY CUTTING BACK ON THE REAL FRAUD, WASTE AND ABUSE INSTEAD OF EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGY!!! You're not fooling anyone you "Emperor's New Clothes" wearing shoe waiting to drop, loser.
From Zuma's Inbox:
In a cost saving effort, our mayor decided to remove the Blackberry's from the department heads and the SLO's. What does this mean to you? You can still reach John on his new teeny-tiny cell using the same old number (213) 793-XXXX but he no longer has the 4XX@...email address.
You can text him short messages to his cell but for any longer text message that you would normally have sent to the Blackberry, you now have to send it to his land line email address instead. This is the same address you have used to send him photos of graffiti, etc in the past. John's land line email address is XXXX@lapd.lacity. org.
Do keep in mind that since he must leave our neighborhood and go back to the station to read the emails you send him, he will not be able to respond to them as quickly as he used to.
If you have something urgent be sure and call him with the info as well as letting him know that you have sent him an email with all the info.
