NEW & EXCLUSIVE: The Zuma Dogg Photo Gallery SLIDESHOW! (A more valuable collection than that of the Autry's)

NEW & EXCLUSIVE...The Zuma Dogg Photo Gallery!: As you lay awake at night, thinking of how you could have more political blogging in your life, have you ever said to yourself, "Gee, I wish there were some way to view all of the digital photos taken by the ZumaCam in one place?" If not, do not click this free slideshow. But if you are still reading, Zuma Dogg has posted tons of pictures as taken by "The ZumaCam" over the past four months of Council meetings and around town! (A collection in value only second to that of the Autry's Southwest Museum rare artifacts.)

LA CITY NEWS, "The Newspaper?": Someone who likes ZD would like to see him put out a hard copy newspaper version of everything I am blogging about with the election coming up.

It's not about blogs being better than newspapers; or newspapers being better than blogs. It's about expanding the message and putting together something that could be distributed throughout the City for people who don't read the ZD/Mayor Sam kinda blogs.

It would be comprised of the local city issues ZD has been speaking of at public comment and blogging about (along with the rest of the community). And it would be good to get out there between now and the elections.

We could print ballot arguments, print ads for candidates we like, promote events and meetings, and raise awareness of the local community issues the rest of us are already aware of (Home Depot/Griffith Park/South West Museum/LAUSD/Neighborhood Council/etc.

Mi amigo will give me the money, up front, to get the issues printed, but wants me to pay him back. So if you can help get some ads in there, or want to take out an ad for your own thing, send an email to LACityNews@Gmail.com or call 213-785-7272.

It ain't that expensive to get 'em printed ($1000/15,000 8 page issues I HAVE BEEN TOLD). And, it would make me feel a lot better knowing there is something out there next to at least SOME of the LA Times newspapers, out there. (My biggest frustration is watching people read the LA Times at Starbucks every morning, those blind-sheep, dummies.)

HEEEEEEEEEELP...let's do an issue that we can keep flooding the city with between now and the elections in November and the mayoral removal in March. Although I wouldn't mind it being called, "Zuma Times" -- I think the name "LA City News" is really good, especially since the blog is set up under the name LACityNews.Blogspot.com and the LACityNews@gmail.com email address. And ZD can edit the content and will include the other bloggers in town who want to contribute (even though they don't have to since I will re-print what I like of theirs, anyway!).

And I know the first thing people will do is contact me for their issue to be included...After two years of covering City Hall and blogs...the issues have risen to the top. What hasn't is the way to pay back my friend who is putting the money upfront to print them up. SO WORRY ABOUT HELPING PUT SOME ADS IN THERE, OR TAKE ONE OUT YOURSELF...and once we have an issue, we'll try and figure out what we are gonna squeeze in there. DON'T MAKE IT ABOUT YOU!

AND CHECK BACK FOR TONS MORE PHOTOS TO COME FROM THE ZUMA DOGG PHOTO GALLERY COLLECTION! (Well actually, not tons since they are digital and have no actual weight...but a HELL of a lot more!)

P.S.: Just heard...thanks to Doug McIntyre's 790 KABC Morning Show for mentioning "Zuma" Dogg in reference to Gwen Steffani and Gavin Rossdale's new born baby. (She hooked up with the wrong dude, the baby should be called, "Zuma, Jr.") But the main thing I wanted to let Doug know, is although I was listening to the show today, as always, I happened to miss that mention. AND, the person who just emailed me the mention worked at a national publication that breaks some pretty big stories. So maybe we can start sharing info!!!
