Los Angeles City Council Update for April 24, 2009. (Garcetti is still a threat to First Amendment!)

CITY STILL NOT SERIOUS ABOUT BUDGET CRISIS WHEN THEY SPEND $180,000 ON BROADWAY FESTIVAL: First of all, the "special event fee waiver" is not a "business stimulus" loophole. It DOES NOT MATTER how much money comes back in return. This is NOT for commercial events, in which the LA Broadway Festival this Sunday IS! So now, that is $180,000 out of the City of Los Angeles general fund that will not be used for fire, police, library, parks, trash removal, road repair, emergency shelter, homeless services or anything to help the kids of LAUSD...JUST A BUNCH OF MONEY FOR A FESTIVAL ON SUNDAY THAT IS HIGHLY COMMERCIALIZED AND CORPORATELY SPONSORED. Way to go, losers. AND AGAIN, IT'S NOT A CORPORATE BUSINESS STIMULUS BAILOUT. If that's what you want to do, create some other motion.

GARCETTI VIOLATES ZUMA DOGG'S BROWN ACT RIGHTS...A-GAIN!: Welp, by now the mayor's office is well aware of continued problems during the city council meetings while ethic-violator, arrogant-pompous ass Eric Garcetti presides over the meeting. EVERYTHING WAS FINE as Zuma Dogg appeared at his retirement Van Nuys chamber for the late-starting (after 12 noon) public comment allowing me to start the day in Malibu and easily stroll into Van Nuys without all the hectic energy of the trip Downtown to the main City Hall. I had cards in, some of which he is claiming had already been voted on before my cards were turned in. So item #1 for the mayor's office to look into "time stamping" the public comment cards as they are turned in. Because if you think I trust that ethics violator, you are crazy. THERE IS A REASON GARCETTI GOT NADA (NO) APPOINTMENTS FROM OBAMA. Maybe Obama has seen some FEDERAL court cases out there and is too scared to touch Garshady. See this week's Los Angeles Times (LA Times) front page article on Number Uno. (You GO Girl voice: Mmm, hmmm???)

So the loser councilmember who has destroyed the fabric and character of this city forever while he runs away with all the money he made as architect of "Dumb Growth" and all the other little scams he goes along with Alarcon and that crew decides he doesn't fucking feel like calling my card on Item 15 (Graffiti) even though it HAD NOT had public comment and was called special and Councildummies spoke on the item.

So I think it's time for a civil rights attorney to start review the last 90 days of Council meetings online at http://lacity.org/. ;)

Can you please have a chat with your boy Eric Garcetti (you know, Gil's boy) and tell him the City Council meeting is not his to run away with. I happen to know that you, Antonio, have rules about the way people are to be treated and I know that despite criticism on other issues, you would not like it if you knew Garcetti was running away with the First Amendment opening up the city for a massive wave of civil lawsuits (as being prepared by Matt Dowd, who already beat your ass into the ground in Federal Court and will do it MUCH MORE EASILY ON THIS GOOFY-ASS SHIT) that you would not like it and you might have your boy Jimmy Blackmon have a chit chat with Garshady the self-entitled excuse maker and tell him to sit there and call the fucking cards in the box and keep that arrogant, pompous smirk on his face at all times because that means he isn't talking and interrupting the speaker in violation of the Brown Act.

THIS SHIT IS REFLECTING BADLY ON THE MAYOR'S OFFICE IN MY BOOK, I MEAN BLOG. GO BLAME SOMETHING ELSE ON THE MAYOR'S OFFICE WHEN IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS COUNCIL PRESIDENT. Can do you anything besides look like some Hollywood actor, up there? Guess not. You can't blame this one on your mommy like you did in the Daily News regarding your ethics violation. CALL THE CARDS GARSHADY. AND MAKE SURE THE SCREENS AT VAN NUYS SHOW THE ITEMS ON THE DESK FOR THE MEETING THAT ARE CALLED SPECIAL, YOU DUMMY. CAN'T YOU DO ANYTHING RIGHT? A: NO!
