In the continuing saga of Matt Dowd, Zuma Dogg, et al teaching LAPD and L.A. City Attorney's office a HISTORIC LESSON as to what can happen when you fuck with the wrong people and FAIL to heed to multiple warnings over the years:
ZUMA DOGG HAS PLACED A MORATORIUM on LAPD being able to enforce the "sunset" rules at Venice Beach.
Although the California Coastal Commission issued a warning to the City of Los Angeles stating that they may not limit access to the state beach and must remain open to the public 24/7, the City will write tickets to people on the boardwalk for being there after sunset. (The part of the boardwalk along the beach that performers set up along -- that is part of the STATE beach, not city owned [center part of the] boardwalk.)
WELL, as Matt Dowd proved today, in the 8am hour today (see post), you are not allowed to tell people they have to wait until 9am to set up. So Zuma Dogg now makes the argument that you may no longer tell people when they have to break down.
If you can't tell someone when they can set up, how CAN you tell them when to break down?
And since signs aren't posted on any of this, the city knows they will LOSE in court on all of this.
So now, the city not only lost the ability to enforce the morning rules -- they also lost the ability to enforce nighttime rules. STOP BY THE NORTH END OF THE BOARDWALK TONIGHT, AROUND SUNSET FOR A FREE ZUMA DOGG CONCERT WITH HIS AMPLIFIED KARAOKE MACHINE.
Sorry LAPD/LA City Hall...I WARNED you all of this would happen.
AND, the city has made NO EFFORT to settle this FEDERAL matter in which they lost to DOWD/DOGG. The city has not presented any settlement offer -- even as of this day. We have no idea what they are thinking or how much will be offered. NOTHING BUT, "We're working on it." SORRY...TIME IS UP. DON'T EVEN WORK ON IT ANYMORE...THIS IS GOING TO A JUDGE AND JURY. AND NOTHING CAN PREVENT THAT!
Sorry the City of L.A. BALKED at the chance to wrap this up and carry on at Venice Beach without Zuma Dogg & Matt Dowd. LOOK AT ALL THAT HAS HAPPENED, THIS MONTH ALONE.
WE TOLD YOU WHAT WAS GOING TO BE HAPPENING.
SO JUST MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT OUT THERE TELLING PEOPLE WHAT TO DO REGARDING SUNSET RULES. YOU LOST. NOW GO FIGHT SOME CRIME.
If LAPD doesn't like it...TOUGH! City Attorney hasn't settled or even given us any indication on anything -- except they are working and filibustering on it...AND LAPD SEEMS TO GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO BE IGNORANT AND VINDICTIVE ASSHOLES WHEN THEY WANT TO BE. (And that seems to be ALL THE TIME.) YOU ARE LOSERS...START ACTING LIKE IT...CAUSE AS YOU CAN SEE YOU KEEP PISSING ME OFF..AND THEN I KEEP MAKING IT WORSE FOR YOU!
SUMMARY: LAPD BETTER NOT BE ENFORCING SUNSET RULES ON VENICE BOARDWALK TONIGHT -- UNLESS THEY WANNA BUY A WHOLE BUNCH OF LEGAL PROBLEMS FOR THE CITY! (And if I see or hear that they are bothering ANYONE over breaking down at sunset...I WILL IMMEDIATELY POST WHAT WILL BE HAPPENING IN COURT. AND IT WILL BE SUCH A GIANT CAN OF WORMS...Dowd/Dogg will be chump-change in comparison...AND...you KNOW I always back up what I say! SO I HOPE I DO NOT SEE YOU ENFORCING FOR SUNSET RULES...The Coastal Commission and Zuma Dogg have just told you that you cannot.
