OFFICIAL ALBUM RELEASE: ZUMA DOGG - "Greatest Hits" [15 News Songs...ALL So Good=IMMEDIATE "GREATEST HITS" Package]

HERE IS MY NEW 15 SONG ALBUM OF DEMOS, in order, as I like to listen back. SLOW...building to HOT CLUB BEATS. (Like starting a weekend/vacation day, in the morning at dawn...and building till your midnight dance club dance floor time.) This album is a songwriters demo album, so some diverse styles.

YOU GOTTA LISTEN TO EACH OF THE 15 SONGS.

BUT FIRST, here are two (2) songs with ZD's POLITICAL messages on the music. (A long standing songwriting tradition of, "national treasure," "folk heroes," like myself.) [As described by L.A.'s top two political blogs/bloggers.]

"UNDERESTIMATED" - About Carmen "The Clown" Trutanich vs Zuma Dogg [HE lost vs ZD in FEDERAL COURT, after I TOLD HIS CHUMP ASS I WAS GONNA BEAT HIS ASS, THEN TAKE HIM OUT OF THE L.A. POLITICAL ARENA -- and send the defeated bully back to PALOOKAVILLE! And it HAS been achieved, according to THIS blog post, from this week.

And THIS previous post, called, "Trutanich's Downfall," after the bitch-ass City Attorney Trutanich got WHOOPED in the recent D.A. election: "Trutanich lost a shot at the runoff by the narrowest of margins to second-placed DA candidate Assistant Head Deputy Alan Jackson. That margin that could perhaps have gone the other way but for many factors.  Certainly, it appears that the efforts of Zuma Dogg to repay Trutanich for betraying a promise may have help to tip the balance."

AND NOW...here's a FUNKY/GROOVY -- FUN-FUN, PARTY TRACK TO DANCE AND SING ON HIS POLITICAL GRAVE, AND HOPEFULLY HIS REAL ONE, SOON. [Beat by @TheTazTaylor]

AND HERE'S MY OVERALL POLITICAL MESSAGE FOR THE MASSES, based on my six years of investigative political activism in City of Los Angeles, that has now pigeonholed me for life as L.A. political history, when I wanted it to be music history. I entered City Hall and activism when L.A. City violated my civil rights, preventing me from performing music. So, you shouldn't be surprised if you think ZD just cranked out 15 "A" material/Grammy Worthy hits. You SHOULD have been surprised by the activism/politics. NOW, like a dream come true...BOTH IN ONE. And here's the message:

"UNIVERSE (Give The People What They Want)" [About politics, media, and social platforms.]

HERE'S some REAL lyrical drama, based on my real life and COWARD/CRIMINAL BILL ROSENDAHL: "DOWNTOWN STREETS" (About becoming homeless when a bitch-ass, c*ck****r violated FEDERAL LAW and the principals this entire country was founded upon, cause he's a sissy-ass bitch...AND NOW, HE CAN DEAL WITH THE REAL PSYCHO HE CREATED TILL THE DAY HE DIES, AND I AM THERE TO DANCE, STOMP, PISS AND SPIT ON HIS GRAVE, AT HIS OWN FUNERAL! (Then,, I'll take a break.) ROT IN HELL, BILL ROSENDAHL, YOU SPINELESS, SON OF A BITCH! I'M JUST GETTING STARTED ON YOU, PUNK! BETTER HANG ON TIGHT, MR. BIG SHOT COUNCILBOY! No go cry, sissy-bitch! That big bad ZD called you names, you fucking PUSSY!

"DOWNTOWN STREETS" (About Bill Rosendahl Making Me Homeless and destroying my life.) AND DEBORAH FOX OF MEYERS-NAVE...YOU are taking PUBLIC MONEY FROM THE GENERAL FUND, SO MR. DOGG MAY WRITE A SONG FOR YOU, TOO, SWEETIE! You're GONNA LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is the album in it's entirety. DIVERSE STYLES. If one isn't your type of genre, skip to next song. You can tell in the first eight seconds, and go to next one.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR VISITING. AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH to the three producers, who created the beats that inspired these songs.

AMAZING!: THANK YOU TO MY UK PRODUCER, AL FRASER for the SMOOTH, UPLIFTING POP/R&B beat, that inspired this song. #DavidFosterWishes. Thanks to Robert Plant, former lead singer of Led Zeppelin; and Barry Gibb, former main singer of Bee Gees for the backing vocal style. [MY LONG TIME FANS, JUST HAD NO IDEA ZD WAS THIS F-ING GOOD.] Now, I can demonstrate it, all, thanks to AL!!! YOU 'RE GONNA LOVE HIM! [Vocals (rough mix) produced by ZD, on his laptop.]

"The Zuma Dogg MEGA-MIX": Listen to Six Song Demo Mix, From Best Pop Album Since "Thriller" or "Saturday Night Fever" [PROOF IS IN THE MP3 - ZUMA DOGG WILL "STUN AND AMAZE" YOU WITH HIS NEW SONGS!]

Zuma Dogg is recording his own "Thriller." That's the last time there was an album with so many amazingly good dance/pop songs on one album. Here are samples of the six demos I wrote and recorded, this week edited onto one track. The first song still has the producer audio tag dubbed over the music (waiting for beat), but still wanted to lead with it, cause it's got some real 1977 "Saturday Night Fever" Bee Gees sounding vocals -- and good energy. (Oh yeah, it's also my "Saturday Night Fever," not just, "Thriller.") The individual songs are posted at http://ZumaDogg.com. (No auto-tune/done on my laptop.)

NEW SONGS BY ZUMA DOGG: Bringing Back The Bee Gees Sound, Ying-Yang Twin Sound & Classic Love Songs Sound (ACTIVISM is not a career/valued by society...songwriting is.)

FYI: One thing I can do at home, on my laptop, is write and record song demos. Since it's only a laptop, I consider them song demos, for music industry A&R executives to consider for their artist roster. I will upgrade the production on these, for my own "Zuma Dogg" character, and enjoyment.

But, for a week of songs (including writing the lyrics), this is pretty productive. Which is because I am not running around worried about trying to save the city. Too late for that. NOW, I consider my   job to write songs to keep peoples' spirits uplifted. I know you think of me as a political guy, or comedy guy...but remember, I used to be a Top-40/Billboard HOT 100 Chart Director guy. And the songwriting is noteworthy, as is the beat production. And now, on with the countdown.

WHAT AN INSULT! (LOL): Pal listened to "First Song of The Night," said, "So you like to auto-tune your vocals." NONE! Here it is. The first single.

THE ZEE GEES!!!: Zuma Dogg - "Here With You Tonight": Dance Club Anthem, especially for Country fans who want a good hip hop dance song.

ZUMA DOGG - "HERE WITH YOU TONIGHT": Fully produced beat, by ZD's UK producer Al Fraser, with ZD's lyrics/vocal demo on top. Multi-format, anthem club hit, with a BEE GEES sounding hook. Was just riffing on the lyrics, so some duped words, but the take was good, otherwise...so here is ZD's piece of resistance, or whatever you call your best thing, so far. [FYI: Al asks for no credit, but he MORE than deserves it. We got a reverse Bernie Taupin/Elton John relationship. ONLY an AMAZING spirit could produce these beats!]

ZEE GEES SUPREME!: ALL BARRY GIBB vocal sound, on this one. And, even MORE Barry sounding. Going for FLAT OUT "The Fifth" Gibb Brother sound. LOL! -  (R&B Ballad, like, "I Keep Forgetting." Here's the hook.)

FULL SONG, with a catch: Vocal HOOK is produced. The rest is vocal run through/finding my way, to map lyrics to re-sing. BUT, you can listen to HEAR the lyrics/story line. For the ladies, with a surprise ending. HILARIOUS song, considering it's by ZD! (Aka: The Ladies Night Out Music Guy!!!)

"Baby, Don't Look At Me Like That" by Zuma Dogg

Baby, don't look at me like that. Don't make me spend time with you. Baby, don't look at that. Don't give me that key to your room. Baby, don't look at me like. Not supposed to spend my time like that. Baby, don't look at me like. Don't make me wanna come to your room.

Sittin' here, with this wedding ring. Nothing for me to do. Sittin' here, in this hotel bar. In the mirror, a reflection of you.

Suddenly, something's happening. I see something starting to move. The lights are low, you sit next to me. And, you ask me if I wanted to groove?

Somebody, get me out of this place. Somebody call on the phone. This isn't supposed to be happening. And, she isn't gonna leave it alone.

Suddenly, music starting to play. Perfect song, from Elton John. You take my hand, move to the floor. And say, 'Baby let's get it on.'

Then, I try hard to take it back...my sanity and control. She pulls me close, forgot my ring. And, it's time to let the good times roll.

Baby, don't look at me like that. Don't make me spend time with you. Baby, don't look at that. Don't give me that key to your room. Baby, don't look at me like. Not supposed to spend my time like that. Baby, don't look at me like. Don't make me wanna come to your room.

Someone I know from college days, sees me, as he enters the room. Comments on my beautiful wife, I say, 'thank you,' and try to stay.

Decide the best thing is to walk away, even though, don't wanna be rude. Then, he asks me, 'What's her name?" I didn't know and we went to the pool.

Time for the hot tub, all alone, when I notice that I smell some perfume. Smelled so sweet, it reminded me, of the kind I used to buy for my wife.

Then, it turned into a TV show, of very bad reality. She was sent by the woman I am married to, who was standing there, watching all night.

Baby, why you gonna do me, like that? Why you gonna leave me alone? Baby, how could you do me like that? I was just ready to come home. (DR. DRE VOICE FROM ABOVE): Awe, yeahhhh.....

NEW by ZUMA DOGG - "DOWN THE AISLE" (A Wedding Song for Veterans)

Here is something very special that I recorded. The music track is mastered, but the vocal is still DEMO quality, but, I really hope you give this a listen: It's called, "Down The Aisle," and is a wedding song written for veterans and the one who waited faithfully for their return. Now, disabled and home, he proposes to the one who waited. NOT a downer, at all. An UPLIFTING song. (I hope disabled veterans agree.)  Creating this song was a very emotional process. Imagining a guy in a wheel chair singing it over the phone to his girlfriend, wondering if she still wants him, may have been why.

"Down The Aisle" by Zuma Dogg

Thinking about you, standing there on your own. Are you thinking of me, sitting here all alone? I'm off the Yellow Brick Road, and down the aisle, I'll go.

Calling, to tell, that I love you. Only one thing to do. Calling, to tell you, right now, something I'm thinking about: That I want to marry you.

Tell me, if I should tell you, that I'm in love with you, and that I want you to marry me.

You've been so good to me. Now, that I'm back home, I want to make you see, I'm off the Yellow Brick Road. And down the aisle, I'll go.

I wanted to write, something beautiful. So, I grabbed a picture of you and started thinking of you.

Wanna say, before it's just too late, I really think you're great, and I want to marry you.

It was a long war. We fought hardcore. You waited, faithfully, for me. Wasn't sure if I'd get home. You waited by the phone, always thinking of me.

Don't have to be lovers. I'll carry on, just as friends. I'm still here to support you, and this song is always just for you.

But, I've found, you stand on higher ground when you support someone. And, you're the one that I have found.

Time to bring in the wedding strings, show this engagement ring, and now say, 'I propose, to you.'

Down the aisle, I'll go. If down the aisle, you'll go. Down the aisle, I'll go. If down the aisle, you'll go.

If you agree to marry me, I'll get Bono to sing for you, 'With Or Without You." Travolta to dance for you. Snoop Dogg to rap for. Play 'Baby, I Love Your Way." Now, what do you have to say?

Down the aisle, we go. Down the aisle, we go.

Hear the tick of the clock? That's my love that won't stop.

[ZUMA DOGG NOW PRONOUNCES YOU MAN AND WIFE!]

Thank you so much to my songwriting partner, Al Fraser, who doesn't ask for credit, for creating this beat for ZD. [We got a reverse Elton John/Bernie Taupin relationship.]

After working at a bunch of Top 40 stations, being Billboard HOT 100 Chart Director, long-time wedding DJ, and performer of enough songs to know WHICH ONES get the donations...here's my shot at creating a timeless classic, for wedding DJs to have ladies drag their guys onto the dancefloor. On American Top 40, I'm Casey Kasem.

"Still In Love With You" (A Wedding Song)

Because I'm still in love with you,
I'll never turn your eyes to blue.
This time there's nothing she can do.
I'm staying home tonight with you.
Alone, with you. Alone, Love.
Take a look at me now.
Wanna be back in your life, again.
My friend, don't let it end.
There's much more to see.
I want you to be the one to see with me.
In time, you'll see that you love me.
And, I am still in love with you.
I'll never turn your eyes to blue.
This time there's nothing she can do.
I'm staying home tonight with you.
Alone, with you. Alone, Love.
Come on by.
Take a try.
Hold my hand.
We'll travel this land, like a world famous band.
Take long walks in the sand.
You could be hearing wedding bells.
Enough to keep you living well.
Don't say goodnight, will be your tell.
And this could be my final sell.
I'm ready for rest of my life.
If you decide to be my wife.
The offer's waiting here for you.
There's nothing more you have to do.
Then, something that's too good to be.
Instead of running, she said...
That she is still in love with me.
And, should have know it naturally.
But, Baby time to come on home.
And, not just say it on the phone.
And, now we're hearing wedding bells.
Even our families can tell.
This is a very happy day.
And, now I carry you away.
For the rest of the night.
With you as my wife.

Greetings from Zuma Dogg: Update for NEW Readers of this blog.

Appears from the Google stats, some folks are checking out "Zuma Dogg," for the first time. Kinda catching me at the tail end of a 12 year whirlwhind, but I appreciate you checking me out; so wanted to pop in with a quick summary as to who the hell it is you stumbled upon.

In 2000, Zuma Dogg debuted on Los Angeles cable TV with a "man-on-the-street" comedy/music/pop culture show. Mr. Dogg was also known for his "Vegas Style" singing performances on the world-famous Venice Beach boardwalk.

In 2006, after City of Los Angeles violated Mr. Dogg's civil rights, as a performer on the Venice Beach boardwalk, he began attending Los Angeles City Council meetings to fight for his right to, once again, be allowed to perform on the boardwalk, as allowed in the U.S.A. -- under First Amendment of Constitution.

The meetings were televised throughout the city, and Zuma Dogg's commentary quickly caught the attention of Los Angeles public and media. Zuma Dogg (and ten other Venice Beach perfomers) went to a Federal Judge on this matter, and in 2010, the judge placed an injunction on L.A.'s flagrant violations of free speech experession rights.

Today, Zuma Dogg no longer performs on the boardwalk, but hopes his political days are behind him, as he returns to his first creative passion, music. You can catch up on the past tweleve years of legendary and historic triumphantness, by checking out some of the videos in the embedded column on the right side of this blog. More on my You Tube page.

LIGHT AT THE END OF THE DARKNESS: And although I wish I were able to record the vocals better, here is a song I just wrote and produced as a demo for Justin Timberlake to record. A flat out pop wedding classic. But, the degree of my delusions of grandious is still being evaluated, so maybe it's not.

You may recognize the music track that I used for a foundation to tell this musical story. (I put new words and melody to a Babyface music track. Clive Davis can work out a new music arragement for whoever he wants to record this. Sounds like a natural for Justin.)
