Boycott Hilton LAX Posters Litter City Using Asian Worker Image

Picutred: "UnFair, UnSafe, UnJust"...otherwise known as a the United States free market. But this is a propaganda hit piece, so who cares about the truth? People will just assume it's unfair, unsafe and unjust, without knowing why.

Way to throw the Asian community under the bus in the name of your LAX "Living Wage" battle. (Isn't Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti the one who called for this boycott in the first place? I wonder if he approves of these posters being plastered all over the City with this image?)

I was at City Hall the day the LAX "Living Wage" ordinance was on the agenda, and I didn't see one Asian in the entire packed house of LAX workers who showed up to show their support for the living wage ordinance.

Let's face it, I think everyone knows that it is the Hispanic workforce who the living wage is here to help, as they make up the bulk of the LAX Hilton workforce this "living wage" meant to help.

This post is not a discussion on the "living wage" itself, which obviously the work force isn't happy over the outcome. (No extra wages due to all kinds of legal hassles.) But this is a commentary on;

a) Littering the City with your illegal "snipe" postings on city property and other people's private property.

b) Why are you using an Asian worker in the picture? Is it because you feel that this type of pressure (to boycott the Hilton and goose the system by FORCING a free market system to pay workers more money) may garner resentment toward the low-income Hispanic workforce? Or because you feel there would be more sympathy/respect for the "living wage" if a sharp looking Asian is the poster worker -- as opposed to a Hispanic worker? (If not one of these two, why use an atypical representation of the worker?)

Overall, if you wanna promote an LAX Hotel Boycott, even if you wanna use that picture...take out a paid billboard. Now you done pissed me off, and I'm going to switch my position from taking public comment time to explain the "compassionate" and "practical" reasons why a forced "living wage" may not be as outrageous as people think:

But when I see deceptive "litterature" posted where it shouldn't be posted, it just reminds me who is behind all of this and how shady the whole movement is. SO NOW YOU CAN TAKE YOU SOCIALIST BULL CRAP AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS! If these workers feel they are stuck too long in these entry level positions and want to earn more money, let them learn English as a starting point! THAT MIGHT HELP THEIR ABILITY TO EARN A LIVING WAGE! (And since it appears as though it is the ASIAN community that needs this living wage increase, I guess we need more "English as a second language for Asians."
