Neighborhood Council RICO/Racketeering Concerns (Update)

Aw, HELL NAW!

This week, the bloggers reported about the school memorandum handed out to students and parents with the voting slate of candidates to vote for, along with a list of all the money and services that would come the schools way. (And as if to say that only these candidates would keep the money flowing into the school.)

BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THE PERSON WHO DISTRIBUTED THE MEMO WAS ALSO ON THE BALLOT!!! (The memo sent by Vera Padilla (who also just happened to win in a landslide.)

So in other words, someone used school resources to issue a memo with a voting slate and list of services provided to the school. And the person who issued this memo was also on the ballot and won in a landslide.

I DON'T THINK YOU ARE ALLOWED TO USE SCHOOL RESOURCES FOR NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL ELECTIONS.

I don't know what a Rico/Racketeering lawsuit smells like, but I think it smells like that school memorandum.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "There's no proof." - Councilmember Jose Huizar (to Zuma Dogg in response to Zuma Dogg's RICO/Racketeering concerns with the Neighborhood Council election.)

But, he said that BEFORE the elections. Things may have changed! We'll see if they keep smiling!

NOW I KNOW WHY FRANK MARTINEZ RETIRED JUST IN TIME FOR THESE ELECTIONS. HE WANTED TO STAY OUT OF PRISON AND HE KNOWS HOW THEY DO THINGS IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS.
