Quick Zuma Dogg Re-Cap...

RON KAYE RALLY AT CITY HALL AN UNDISPUTED SUCCESS!: Had a great time at yesterday's City Hall Rally/Protest organized by Ron Kaye. Thanks to David Zanhiser of LA Times for mentioning my attendance and new sombero! More on the event later. Check out page 3 of LA Times California Section for coverage of the event, or online. LA Times says over 100 were in attendance, but it was actually also over 200 by my own estimation.

VILLARAIGOSA'S JIMMY BLACKMON FINNALY GETS TO MEET ZUMA DOGG: Some of you know Jimmy's worked, allegedly, as the primary spinner on the blogs (especially Mayor Sam) and if anyone has allegedly spent hours on end attacking Zuma Dogg on the blogs, it is this guy. And as a matter of fact, I blew a gasket on Sunday over Venice Beach problems, and took it out on Jimmy's voicemail, leaving a message starting with, "This message is for inferior-minded loser Jimmy Blackmon."

Well, I saw the inferior-minded loser today in the City Hall rotunda, and I was able to let him know that CM Rosendahl did an outstanding job at making sure to take care of my issue and give it the serious attention I was hoping for. And let him know that helped chill me out. Then I reminded Jimmy that sometimes at 4am I am out of medication (see Prop 215) and that's when the voice mails can start flying.

Jimmy was glad to hear Bill handled the matter and he took it all with good humor. But he's still a loser!

BILL ROSENDAHL SAVES THE DAY!: Thanks to CM Bill Rosendahl's assistant who, after listening to "at least half a dozen messages from Zuma Dogg" -- she called Bill at home on Monday morning -- and by 8:20 AM -- ZUMA DOGG HAD A SCHEDULED MEETING WITH COUNCILMEMBER BILL ROSENDAHL, IN WHICH A CONFERENCE CALL WITH LAPD TOOK PLACE, WHERE ZUMA DOGG WAS ABLE TO COMMUNICATE HIS GRIEVENCES!

And although I hate to have to say something positive about an incumbent City Councilmember up for re-election -- I have to say Bill took the matter seriously -- and seems to agree with Zuma Dogg on the "spirit" of Venice Beach vending.

AND TO MAKE MATTERS BETTER...I just go a follow-up call from the LAPD Seargent who wants to take my statements for the record. And it will allow me to comment on a lot of the problems experienced. My cell phone battery ran out, so I am about to call the Seargent back.

So, whatever the outcome, at this point, at least ZD can say, "No American could have aksed for more responsive constituent service from his CM and Police Department." And man do I hate to say that, cause I lose sleep at night thinking about the things CM Rosendahl votes "Yes" on, when he should be a "No", that high-density, lefty, wacko! (But I kinda love him anyway!)

BALLOT MEASURES APPROVED WITHOUT PUBLIC COMMENT: Because no one shows up. ZD is limited to only a few minutes a day, so many times agenda items go without public comment if I run out of time. I CANNOT BELEIVE THAT BALLOT MEASURES ARE ADDED TO THE BALLOT WITHOUT ONE SINGLE PERSON GIVING PUBLIC COMMENT! (I guess the people get what they deserve. CORRUPTION!)

MORE TO COME...
