THIS JUST IN: SHOCKER!!! Councilmember Dennis Zine has just announced on the Kevin James Show (870-KRLA) that Councilmember Jack Weiss contacted Zine's office today to see if he was going to be attending Doug McIntyre's KABC broadcast tomorrow (Thursday) at 9:30 am at Weiss' Roberson Blvd Field Office. And Weiss let Zine know that his Special Order40 reform motion will be heard in the Public Safety Committee in October (no date given). Zine feels, along with ZD, that when Weiss asks about the protest tomorrow -- and announces suddenly that the motion will be heard -- the public pressure must have finally been felt.
