Thank goodness! What kind of idiot even needs to have this as a law. I think what is wrong with society, is that you have idiots who think they need to text message an alert about their brand new ring tone they just downloaded off their iPod.

Drivers will be banned from text messaging while operating a motor vehicle starting Jan. 1 under a bill Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed Wednesday.
