CITIZENS ALERT: IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM CD 2 CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE ZUMA DOGG (DAVID SALTSBURG) CAPTURE THE MOMENT THIS TUESDAY!
WORD HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ZUMA'S CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS THAT THE BUZZ AND MOMENTUM IS GOING ZUMA DOGG'S WAY, AND IS WITHIN REACH OF THE RUN-OFF AS AN ACTUAL TOP THREE CANDIDATE.
It's not out of the question that with all the outrage against the City Hall insiders and elected officials running in this election; where David Vahedi basically tied the machine-backed Assemblymember Paul Koretz; and with over three years of Zuma Dogg in the media as a high-profile activist that the people have rallied behind, it's not unreasonable to think that ZD could be Top 3.
AND I WOULD NOT BE ISSUING THIS CITIZENS ALERT IF I DIDN'T FEEL THE FEEDBACK WAS A VIABLE INDICATOR, CAUSE THEN I WOULD LOOK STUPID ON WEDNESDAY MORNING.
As a matter of fact, I was on the phone with people today saying I felt it was going to be all BIG THREE (money raisers) in the Top 3 (and you could even have another grass roots candidate jump me, for all I know), and so I was just going to show up for public comment at Friday's meeting on the budget, try to call in to a radio show, and enjoy the weekend knowing I have over three years of momentum. And like the student who has been doing their homework all semester, I don't have to cram for the finals (final weekend) the way the other people who are just coming around for the election have to this weekend.
IN OTHER WORDS, I WASN'T GOING TO KNOCK MYSELF OUT THIS LAST WEEKEND, RUNNING ALL OVER THE DISTRICT TRYING TO MEET CROWD AND PASS OUT FLIERS, SINCE I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD MAKE THE RUN-OFF, ANYWAY.
THEN, this person contacted me with an email saying I am Top 3, with momentum, according to their research that he/she said was unscientific, but seemed to know more than your average bear.
It could have been from some inside research but is saying it wasn't. AGAIN, I am basing my enthusiasm and credibility in the source based on the vibe and info they were telling me on the phone when we spoke. And I'm saying, I think the momentum we could all believe is out there after over three years of ZD on City TV/radio/blogs/etc with all the love that is being reflected back on the streets and airwaves, and I think this weekend, instead of going to Malibu to try and catch up on the summer I didn't have (totally missed out on), I gotta schlep it back to the Valley and start getting in front of the crowds at the gatherings this weekend and fire up the ZD, Public Persona guy and bust out the camera and sing some songs and let people know how shady City Hall is and how the City Council seat is under attack from 3 City Hall insiders -- and you GOTTA GET OUT AND VOTE ZUMA DOGG FOR CITY COUNCIL ON TUESDAY!!!
THIS IS A RARE MOMENT IN TIME THAT MANY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL THEIR LIFE. THE MACHINE IS AGAINST THE ROPES AND YOU HAVE THE GRASS ROOTS GUY THAT EVERYONE KNOWS ALREADY THAT HAS BEEN ON THE RECORD THE ENITRE THE SHIP HAS BEEN GOING DOWN AND NOW THEY ARE HAVING EMERGENCY MEETINGS TO DEAL WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE BEEN SAYING OVER THE PERIOD THE SHIP WAS SINKING.
I did more than STAND UP...I FIGURED OUT!
THAT'S THE COMBINATION!
THAT'S WHY THEY ARE SCARED!
THAT'S WHY THEY OFFERED ME A JOB, TODAY!
