Los Angeles Daily Blog: Zuma Dogg for Los Angeles Mayor 2013 [Videos & Link to OFFICIAL Campaign Site] READ STATEMENT FROM MR. DOGG, HERE.

Welcome to the re-vamped http://LADailyBlog.com.

My name is David Saltsburg. (Also known as "Zuma Dogg.")

For the past six years, I have been following Los Angeles City Hall, and have shared my experiences via blog, radio, TV and newspapers. Most of you reading this blog are aware of these efforts.

And, most of you reading are aware of the "crisis" situation the municipality known as "City of Los Angeles" is facing. That means it is a crisis WE are facing. (I don't know if corporations are people, but I do believe municipalities are people, or at least have substantial impact on them.)

We all do what we can as residents, activists, gadflies, bloggers and community members to help shape the direction of the community toward the goal of improvement.

At this time, it would be irresponsible of me to blog about any specific city issue, if my goal is to improve the city, other than efforts toward the goal of having L.A. City Hall implement "Methods for Management of Quality & Productivity."

I present this argument (reasons they must be implemented before anything else is even considered, let alone discussed) -- along with specific application of "Quality & Productivity" philosophy to City of L.A. -- at LACityNews.com (Official Zuma Dogg for L.A. Mayor 2013 site.)

Watch some videos and get a sense of what ACTUAL "Quality & Productivity" talk sounds like, and what Zuma Dogg feels the job of mayor should be. It's not about how much money I have raised as a candidate, or chances of winning. THAT talk will NEVER move the city forward toward the goal of "FIXING L.A. City." And I haven't been hearing any actual methods in which to achieve any goals that are being promised to voters.

It is MY belief that until City Hall commits to "Q&P" as described in the videos at LACityNews.com, the city will continue to spiral into total helplessness...and then, GOOD LUCK on whatever it was you were hoping for!

Thank You,
Saltsburg/Dogg

 Zuma Dogg for L.A. Mayor 2013 - Show #6

ON ZUMA DOGG:

"One of the all-time greats. World-class. I consider Zuma Dogg to be a prophet." - L.A. City Councilman Bill Rosendahl on Zuma Dogg

"A good man. Zuma Dogg has done a lot of good for the people of L.A." - L.A. City Councilman Dennis Zine
"It would be nice to see someone with the heroism of Zuma Dogg in office." - Kevin James/870-KRLA Radio

"He wakes us up; it gets everyone's attention." L.A. City Controller Wendy Greuel (She NEEDS to be woken up! I should be APPOINTED mayor, just for THAT!)

"Zuma Dogg fought the oppressive, tightly controlled L.A. City Council meetings presided over by Council President Eric Garcetti, who had banned video cameras. After police tried to stop Zuma Dogg from taping the council deliberations, he railed against the big shots for months, slamming Garcetti as “Garshady” on his show and on his whistleblower blog. "Whatever happened to free speech in this country?," Zuma Dogg asked. He prevailed against Garcetti’s rules, and now brings his cameracorder to every council meeting, as can any member of the public thanks to him." - LA Weekly.

"You're actually one of my favorite people to watch on TV." - Former L.A. Mayor Richard Riordan to Zuma Dogg on KABC radio.

"I've seen you on TV. Keep doing what you're doing." - Dennis Franz

"Zuma Dogg, who is smarter than and knows more about city government than most Council members, has become something of an urban folk hero, skewering City Hall foibles and failures in his frequent public comment appearances broadcast on Channel 35. His campaigns for mayor and now CD2 attracted respectable numbers of votes." - Ron Kaye

" Zuma Dogg has distinguished himself as a "mix of curiosity and crusader" fighting for what he considers his free-speech rights."He's been able to do it with humor and at times be more direct and substantive." Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti/Los Angeles Times

" A civic treasure." - Michael Higby/Mayor Sam's L.A. Politics Blog

"I think your 'Interpreting Deming's 14 Points' is fabulous." - Tony Robbins

"I appreciate much the article you sent ('Interpreting Deming's 14 Points'). It is well done." - Dr. Ed Deming
