HUGE: State of California Crams Up To 50 Sex Offenders In Single El Sereno Building (And Crams Many More In 8 Building Cluster) Community NOT Happy!

Zuma Dogg knows there are a few folks inside Los Angeles City Council chambers (and a certain Board of Supervisor/Gloria Molina) who are anxiously awaiting the April issue of The Voice newspaper of East Los Angeles.

And for good reason: Gonna be a real bombshell. Apparently, Senator George Runner has launched an investigation into a certain El Sereno property manager/owner who runs several housing buildings in the area. Reason being, it appears as though the California State Parole Board is sending a high concentration of paroled pedophile sex offenders in the buildings run by this manager.

The Voice has learned that 50 pedophile parolees were living in one building alone. After protest from the public, the number has been allegedly reduced to 12. However, residents point out that the only reason it may have been reduced from 50, is because they were being contacted by concerned residents in the area. (In other words...they were busted.) So the people want to know, how and why were 50 pedophile parolees allowed to live in one building in the first place?) Or maybe it is because a new law went into effect recently that says the pedophiles MUST BE DISPERSED*.

Here's why it seems to be happening: The person cramming these parolees into these buildings is paid up to $500 extra per person by the State of California Parolee Board, compared to the regular market rate the landlord takes in for non-pedophile parolees. Estimates total up to one million dollars EXTRA for these tenants, beyond the usual rent being charged for the general public.

Of the eight buildings in this cluster run by one person who is under Senator Runner's investigation, all eight are in Gloria Molina's Board of Supervisor's district and three of them are in Los Angeles City Councilmember Jose Huizar's District.

The question the people have is, who is responsible for having the parole board funnel all these people into this one small cluster of buildings in El Sereno?

We've heard how hospitals were doing "illegal dumping" of homeless hospital patients at Skid Row. Now it appears that the decision has been made to "dump" these sexual offenders in one spot, too.

[*="And at the state level, the Sex Offender Management Board is actively looking at this issue and making recommendations."
Jessica's Law, co-authored by Lancaster Republican husband-and-wife state legislators Sen. George Runner and Assemblywoman Sharon Runner and passed by voters in 2006, cracks down on sex offenders and sets distances they must live away from schools and parks.]

WATCH FOR THE APRIL ISSUE OF THE VOICE ALL OVER EAST LOS ANGELES AND ALL OVER SPRING STREET.
