It was posted here already, but here is your Zuma Times embedded edition of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa being heckled on the street by Los Angelenos during an outdoor press conference announcing 100 new street lights over skid row. Some of the people wanted it to be more like 100 new rooms for homeless. But this mayor plans on pothole filling and street lighting his way into re-election, I guess. Other than that, I guess his legacy will be the mayor who had a bad losing streak of losing in court over his bills and ordinances. Oh, and by the way...the mayor is gonna lose BIG to Matt Dowd and Michael Hunt over the Venice Beach ordinance. Basically, the City Attorneys had their asses handed to them by Dowd's legalese. That final nail in Villar's Venice coffin will be about sometime next week. But this mayoral comedy moment is about the outdoor press conference. Here's the video of Loserosa. (The Mayor who pissed off and disenfranchised every one of the constituents who supported and voted for him. (Try and find someone who will admit that they voted for him, that doesn't say they regret it and that it was a mistake. GOOD LUCK COME RE-ELECTION VILLARLOSER! And unfortunately you lost the biggest supporters of all: Uncle Eli and your Chief of Staff, Richard Riordan. (Buh-bye Antonio.)
ZUMA'S STRATEGY CORNER: Alright, Antonio and your team of helpless spinlosers. Here's how the mayor needed to handle this situation from a Sun-Tzu "Art of War" strategy. (Not some bitter, angry, combative, non-embracing, backfire-on-your-ass-every-time strategy that is the only way Antonio and his team of Terry Mccaulfie wannabees know.)
SCENE: (Mayor steps to podium and hecklers start hecking. Mayor tries to speak, but it becomes apparent that the people will not stop shouting.)
MAYOR: (After trying to move on, but cannot, turns to hecklers) Alright, you know what, I did show up on the streets with the people to deliver this important announcement that will do a lot of good for a lot of people, even though it isn't enough, I know. And since these are your streets and you have made your voice heard. Instead of a bunch of rude shouting, how about each of you step to the podium for some brief comments addressing the issue you want me and the public to hear.
Now, normally, of course this would not be acceptable procedure, but again, I chose to set up shop on public streets, so I can see we need to be a little flexible here.
[Sorry fellaz...that is the only way to have not only diffused the situation, but turned the negative into a positive. I know many people have read "Art of War", but I implore all political hack-losers to read Al Ries and Jack Trout's "Marketing Warfare" because it simplifies the concepts of Sun Tzu, and applies it to corporate situations that you can more easily translate into your situations.]
