Hey Zuma Dogg, Thank you for taking the time to write and for posting all of the information on your blog!!

It's going to be a fight getting Jamiel's Law passed but we are not going to stop until it's passed! We're now trying to get Jamiel's Law on the agenda. That's more complicated then I thought.

They say we need to get a Council Member to put in a motion to get in on the agenda. I left a message with Council Member Wesson, but haven't heard from him yet. Looks like I'll have to call another Council Member in the morning.

Have you logged onto http://www.jamielslaw.com/ and signed the online Petition? We are going to work on getting the law on the ballot for the voters to decide. That's plan B. Just in case the council members continue to ignore us. Thank you for the kind words and all of the support! It really means alot to me and my family. Keep up the good work! Jamiel Sr

ZD says: Mr. Shaw, sad to say I don't think Council will ever roll with Jamiel's Law, because they didn't come up with it. I'm sure you heard about Zine's motion that I think will even have a hard time passing. So looks like "Plan B." So that will accomplish two goals...getting it on the ballot...and exposing City Council. (Wait until they start having to speak out against it, because of Antonio. Man, their political reputations and careers will be over. They are just too arrogant and agendized for their own good. Sorry that you have to deal with these people and have them in your life. Zuma
