90 Days Until Prop R Has It's Fair Court Hearing

PUBLIC NOTICE: The "once a month" council meeting from Van Nuys is once again canceled for this Friday. (This means one meeting in Van Nuys in the past five months...right?)

Pleased to meet you. Don't forget my name.
Pictured: Random LA Shitty Councilmembers.
(No sympathy for the ones affected if Prop R is overturned.)

Despite their cool on-camera demeanor, a few LA Shitty Council members are sittin' on pins and needles waiting for the outcome of Prop R. Looks like they may have only 90 days until the munchkins are singing, "Ding-dong, the witches are dead...the witches are dead...the witches are dead. Ding-dong the wicked incumbents are deaaaaaaaaad! But there's no way the world is meant to be so happy. Some folks may be forced to run for mayor now, too if they are booted out of their CM seat anyway (or can no longer run for re-election) since they will need a seat to collect a check from.

Pictured: Nothing to worry about. Senator Diane Finestein is appearing at CM Wendy's Greuel's Fundraiser for Shitty Controller to replace Laura Chick. (She should be called Laura Ostrich.)

Motion For Calendar Preference

Onward to Victory Legal Fees Fundraising Dinner

SAVE THE DATE

With all of the documents filed, we (Hernandez/Hayes) are now primed for a day in court. As we have filed a Motion for Calendar Preference and with 2009 City Election Cycle upon us, it will be fair to all parties concerned to have the case heard prior to the end of the 90 day window.

Thank those of you who have sent your contributions to the Legal Fund, but it is far short of the five thousand dollar goal. As such we are having a fundraising dinner on June 24, 2008 at 7:00PM. The location will be posted next week, but it will be in the San Fernando Valley.

If you would like to help but can not attend please mail your check made payable to Attorney Eric Grant C/O David Hernandez PO Box 3245, North Hollywood, CA 91609.
