I call this the "Silver Platter" memo, because someone who appears to be some sort of "insider" emailed ZD a bunch of questions about Los Angeles City Councilmember Jack "Jackass" Weiss and his long-time pal Anthony Villar (Aka: Antonio Villaraigosa).Usually, this is the type of email that Villar's team puts out about OTHER candidates.
This time, the questions are directed toward Antonio's hand picked choice for City Attorney, Jack "Jackass" Weiss. (Villaraigosa is Weiss' campaign manager for the City Attorney race; which is ONE reason Zuma Dogg endorses Carmen "Nuch" Trutanich for City Attorney.)

Dear Mr. Dogg,
Just a quick note to let you know how much those of us who constantly fight Political Corruption appreciate your work in throwing the crooked politicians off balance. Since the "Cleveland Mob" first came to Los Angeles in the 1930's and infiltrated the garment industry, movie industry, and City Hall, we have had to be one step ahead of them. Judge Fletcher Bowren cleaned up City Hall, for a while.
During the 1990's we had a "screaming old man", Leonard Shapiro, from Granada Hills, who kept the City Council crazy with his wild accusations. We were successful in convicting Councilman Richard Allatore and Councilman Arthur Snyder.
As you are well aware, we have been successful in convicting the Mayors of Compton, Lynwood, Inglewood, and others. As you may recall, one of the Mayors was Jan Perry's Chief of Staff.
In monitoring your blogs and information releases, you seem to be right on target with the information received from the public and our inside sources. Allegedly the kingpin within City Government is Mr. Jack Steven Weiss. Our suspicions and concerns are that Mr. Weiss may be using extortion and blackmail to have total control of Antonio Villaraigosa, who for the time being is the Mayor of the City of Los Angeles.
You can help by getting two important people elected next March. Ms. Wendy Greuel as controller and Mr. Carmine Trutanich as City Attorney. Our current Controller and City Attorney are assisting, however they are termed out next year. Mr Delgadillo is an outstanding actor. We are sure that you are aware that Mr Garcetti is an active member of the United States Navy Intelligence Team. You are also aware of those people most afraid of you - Mr. LaBonge, Ms Perry, Mr Cardenas, and Mr Alarcon. Those who really appreciate what you are doing include Mr Rosendahl, Mr Zine, Ms Greuel, Ms Hahn and Mr Reyes.
Mr Weiss and Mr Villaraigosa are only small potatoes. We are only interested in their puppeteers and who are benefiting from milking the system.
If you are really serious in cleaning up City Hall, which we think you are, we will give you an unsolicited suggestion, which is up to you to accept or reject. We would like to see you come to City Hall dressed in a 1940's style three piece stripped suit, with black wing tipped shoes, and a black "reporters" hat. Your outfit should include a white shirt and a red tie, possibly with a red carnation on your lapel. You fill out your speakers card as JAKE GITTIES, III (THE THIRD). You come to the podium and say "everyone keeps on wanting to know my name - here it is....My name is Jake Gitties, III. Jack Nicholson played my grandfather in one of the greatest movies of all time, CHINATOWN. My grand daddy busted the DWP, the LA Times, and the City Hall. the sequel was TWO JAKES and I, ladies and gentlemen, am now doing the research for the 3rd and last part of the trilogy.
How you play it is up to you. What ever you do, you are doing it on your own and in no way can you say you represent anyone.
We will throw you a few leads and you can do what you want with them.
1. Do a public records research request with the City Clerk to see how many council and committee meetings Jack Weiss has missed over the past year.
2. Does Jack Weiss leave Council after roll call, go to his office, and illegally make fund raising phone calls on City phones?
3. Is former Jack Weiss Chief of Staff Susan Bursk, who is now President & CEO of Century City Chamber of Commerce, actually using the Chamber to fund raise for Jack Weiss?
4. Is former Jack Weiss field deputy, Adeena Bleich, who claims to be a candidate for his CD5 seat, actually just sealing votes for Weiss in his Council District?
5. We have heard that employees of most major developers in CD5 are giving $1,000 contributions, which all seem to add up to $10,000. Do the employees actually have that money or are they exchanging checks?
6. Rick Caruso and Related Companies (Grand Avenue) each gave $10,000 - is Rick Caruso a principal in Related Companies?
7. If a Councilman, is hated by those in his district, by all City Department Heads, and by the City Council, how does he raise a Million dollars, already?
8. If Jack Weiss has never argued a case in State Court, how is he BE qualified to be City Attorney?
9. Ask Jack Weiss to discuss LA Superior Court Case BY545318 - Los Angeles County v. Jack Weiss, filed April 30, 2001. Which is a DA Complaint for PATERNITY?
10. Did Antonio Villar change his name to Villaraigosa to fraud a bank to get a loan on his home he was buying because Anthony Villar had a bankruptcy and owed huge debts. Did he illegally get a new Social Security Number? Did he legally change his name?
11. Can you get Antonio to open his shirt to prove he does not have "Gangs Rule" tattooed across his chest?
12. In addition to all of the above, we still need to know who actually owns these two elected officials. Do these names mean anything to you? Ken Spiker, Jr., Richard Muerello, Horace Vignali, The lady who runs all the labor unions after her husband died, or partners Walter Weiss (Jack's biological father) and Richard Riordan?
Be it Zuma Dogg or Jake Gillies III, start your engines........and good luck!
ZD: ALRIGHT PEOPLE...HALF OF THIS IS OVER MY HEAD, SO MAYBE SOME OF YOU CAN ADD COMMENTS TO HELP EXPLAIN SOME OF THIS. AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE DOWN THIS BLOG POST AT ANYTIME IF I FEEL LIKE IT, BASED ON MY ADDITIONAL INVESTIGATION INTO ALL OF THIS. IN OTHER WORDS, IT SEEMS LIKE SOME PRETTY GOOD AND CREDIBLE QUESTIONS AND INFO...BUT IF I FIND OUT OTHERWISE, I WILL YANK IT. But en mi opinion...I think someone just handed ZD the "Jack Weiss Silver Platter" memo and did a year's worth of research that ZD could never have done anyway. So thank you for the email from my new source if I am indeed being given a "tip of the hat" with this email for my previous endeavors. As someone who is hoping to run for Mayor of Los Angeles in '09, I would be very troubled to hear that Jackass is soliciting for his City Attorney race during the Council meetings, while he keeps the "Zine S.O. 40 Motion" locked-down in Weiss' Public Safety Committee.
