Zuma Dogg To Villaraigosa on $7 BILLION City Pension Losses (and other almost as important things.)

A couple things for the mayor's office to think about from your friendly, neighborhood Zuma Dogg:

I know the mayor just let Seven ($7) Billion dollars fly out of the general fund into risky "non-investment grade" investments on Wall Street and real estate that benefitted the benefactors (pension managers/Wall Street investors and Villar's developer contributors, like M. Maddux, Villar's #1 Campaign contributor when he was first elected mayor -- and has now declared bankrutcy and people won't be getting paid -- although Meruello got his end).

Anyway, now that the mayor has to try and cover for all of that (along with irresonsibly handing out raisies and benefits to everyone, when the city couldn't afford it any more than MC Hammer could afford his gold plated mansion)...

So you had to QUADRUPLE the parking meter rates. But here's something out of Zuma Dogg's 14 Point plan: It doesn't do any good to raise rates, if 3 (THREE) of 5 (FIVE) parking meters on the street ZD just walked down WERE OUT OF ORDER IN "FAIL" MODE.

(Yes, the ZumaCAM documented this lack of efficiency.)

And YES, Zuma Dogg has had a private conversation at City Hall with the head of parking meters...

And he is aware of the failure (no, not of the mayor's entire tenure) but with the problem with these cheap-ass parking meters that Villar had installed than "FAIL" more than a LAUSD student at one of his mayoral-takeover clusters.

But to make matters worse, there are signs posted in the city that say, "If you park at an out of order meter you may get a ticket."

LOL! That really sums up the City of Los Angeles under the Douchearagosa administraion.

Install meters that "FAIL" (go out of order) more than the ones that were already there. THEN, you have to keep paying people to drive around and fix them. (And Santa Monica does NOT have this problem with their meters, so maybe you should give the mayor of S.M. a call to see how THEY did it.)

PLUS, HEY DUMMY MAYOR...Here's how it works: The city is short of parking in this city that you allowed too many people to cram into. IF THERE IS A METER THAT IS BROKEN...THAT'S ON YOU, HOLMES!

THE PEOPLE GET TO PARK THERE FOR FREE UNTIL YOU FIX IT, LOSEROSA...

BECAUSE THE GOAL IS NOT TO REDUCE PARKING SPACE IN AREAS WHERE PEOPLE ARE SPENDING MONEY IN THE CITY, DUMMY! YOU ARE THE MOST ANTI-BUSINESS, ANTI-TOURISM, ANTI-CITIZENS MAYOR IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT!

Hey Antonio, I'm starting to think you may not have the best interest of the citizen's of Los Angeles and the State of California in mind.

Remember Antonio, you were (supposedly) voted into office by CITIZENS, not just residents. Start recognizing the difference and behaving as such! You'll just have to tell your college buddies there was too much political pressure. Tell them you only got 55% of the vote and LOST in some districts entirely, Mr. Governor?

So that's about the parking meter issue.

Secondly, regarding traffic:

The city will never reduce traffic in any meaningful way, as long as a lane of 20 cars has to slam on the brakes and wait for ONE pedestrian to cross the street.

IF YOU ARE WAITING TO MAKE EITHER A RIGHT OR LEFT TURN, as soon as the light turns green...WELL, so does the crosswalk light. So, BOTH lanes are on "HOLD" (NOT moving) while ONE person starts to make it across. THEN, if there is time for cars...A SECOND pedestrian may be ready to cross, now, too. SO YOU STILL CAN'T MOVE!

Then, as the light is turning yellow (to red) ONE car has a chance to jackrabbit a turn...

AND THE REST OF THE CARS ARE WAITING FOR THE NEXT CYCLE.

Don't you see it?!?!?

YOU SIMPLY CANNOT HAVE THE TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIANS ON THE SAME GREEN LIGHT.

THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION THAN TO HAVE ALL THE CARS IN ALL DIRECTIONS HAVE A RED LIGHT AT THE SAME TIME...and all the pedestrian traffic from all corners will cross then.

So there are two things for the mayor's office to look into. Three things if you count taking his head of his puppet-master's ass, AND GET DOWN TO ADDRESSING THE $7 BILLION LACERS PENSION LOSS THIS PAST YEAR IN THE FACE OF EVERY ZUMA DOGG WARNING! (So if ZD knew why didn't AV?) So yeah, let's just call it three:

1.) LACERS
2.) Parking Meters
3.) Pedestrian vs Traffic signal timing.

and of course, the honorary 4.),

4.) Implement the 14 Points, dummy. (Have someone who passed the bar explain it to you.)

Grand Ave Project: Downtown Los Angeles Presents: Eli' Broad ... 9 Jun 2007 by Zuma Dogg

I hope LACER pension money isn’t being invested into this project, because MacFarlane works with Related Co (the project developers) elsewhere in the city. And if actually HAD any pension money to invest, I would put in a stipulation that none of it ... it looks like to me. If Downtown is having the types of problems that causes skid row to continue to thrive...I think this is the perfect solution! Neighborhood Council Blog. Posted by Z.A.P. [Ooops, turned out LACERS, WAS INDEED invested...AND DID PULL OUT after a lot of ZD hoopla on TV, radio and blogs.]
