Well the thing about my inside source (who used to be on retainer with Wetherly Capital, is that Wetherly Capital stuff, only represents a small spectrum of the big picture that Mr. Source not only looks at, but constantly crams down my throat through mulitple emails daily.
AND IT IS SOME PRETTY HIGH-LEVEL, HIGH BROW STUFF that constantly requires a passport to get to the bottom of U.S corruption.
And my job as a local blogger is to go through this whole international, 50 year history lesson that is unfolding in each 1800 word email he cranks out...and pull out the stuff that relates to Los Angeles and the State of California, and now recently, including New York, now that Los Angeles City Councilmembers are mixing it up and fund raising with New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.
But I do feel a lot more enlightened, and feel my blogging has added a HELL of a lot of HEAT since Mr. Source has widened my peripheral vision in seeing the overall picture.
So what I am going to do, is pull out some of the stuff that I have been finding intriguing, but beyond the usual City Hall or Statewide content. If I am liking it, perhaps some of you will enjoy the trip, as well.

Is NY AG Andrew Cumo's Personal Money Manager IMPLICATED in New York Pension Scandal?
New York based Entrust Capital co-founded by Gregg S. Hymowitz (a former vice-president at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and previously an attorney with Skadden Arps) is implicated in the widening New York Pension corruption scandal. As directed by Hank Morris and Alan Hevesi, EnTrust Capital received an investment from New York State Common Retirement Fund through the investment vehicle managed by Consulting Services Group ("CSG") called Liberty Oak. Liberty Oak is a hedge fund of funds that exclusively invests New York State Pension money directly into funds like EnTrust. CSG and Liberty Oak are featured prominently in the NY AG and SEC criminal indictments and have made millions of dollars in payments to Hank Morris. At the same time, Andrew Cuomo has received millions of dollars in income as an investor in EnTrust. However, Gregg Hymowitz and EnTrust are not featured in the NY AG and SEC criminal indictments. Why not?

So how do you get out of it and create a "win-win" for everyone (and by everyone, I mean the politicians, not the people)?
YOU FUND RAISE FOR THE GUY DOING THE INVESTIGATION!!! (In this case Cuomo.)
So look for Villaraigosa to get out there for Cuomo and deliver the Latino vote and money to Andrew, like he delivered it to Hillary, then Obama.
BUT, Villar couldn' t be there for this Cuomo fundraiser, because it's not time, yet.
So standing in for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was COUNCILMEMBER Wendy Greuel.
HERE WE GO AGAIN!!! Why is an L.A. City Councilmember raising money for the shadiest Attorney General, quite possibly based on the two links above, in the history of this country?

I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU...The subpoenas for documents were issued to Gold Bridge Capital and Wetherly Capital -- both run by former fundraisers for former Gov. Gray Davis -- as well as former pension official Sean Harrigan, according to sources. It was unclear which of the subpoenas had been served as of late Friday.
