CIty Council Continues DWP Rate Hike Increases Until April 2, 2008 Agenda

DWP GM David Nahai not a happy camper. Have you ever seen Rainman, when he's three minutes from a TV set, and it's only two minutes till Wapner?

Well that's what Nahai reminded me of, as his chances of having his shady DWP rate increase approved today go out the window as CM Parks, led by CM Hahn had the ordinance continued until April 2, 2008.

Janice Hahn sure is running for Mayor the way she played to the Neighborhood Council people in attendance, with a big "rah-rah NC" speech. Tom LaBong provided much needed comedic relief to the session (even though he wasn't trying to be comedic relief). He reminds me of Ted Baxter.
