EL SERENO HOME TO SEX OFFENDER CLUSTERS

THE VOICE discovered an article published in the LA Times on March 5th, 2008, regarding sex offenders being dumped in various areas of LA County, which including some in the El Sereno area. We decided to investigate this matter and what we found out is absolutely incredible.
Several community residents from the University Hills area noticed unfamiliar faces walking in and out of the residence located at 5067 Borland Street, which is right in the middle of a community with several hundred families residing all around it.
Neighbors got worried and thought it may be a drug house where people come in and get high. What they discovered was far worse.
After many conversations between the concerned neighbors, one of them ran the above address's up on the Megan's Law web site and was surprised to discover that several registered sex offenders were residing at this location.
