Moments Before The Earthquake, City Council Waived "Emergency Preparedness" Discussion (only Zuma Dogg spoke)

During yesterday Council's meeting and "Emergency Preparedness" item was on the agenda. The concern being that there IS no "Emergency Preparedness" plan for the City of Los Angeles.

Well, when Zuma Dogg saw the item on the agenda, I put in a card for discussion. Zuma Dogg was the only person in the City to comment on this issue. All the Councilmembers waived the opportunity to speak. And if ZD did not turn in a card on the issue, it would have gone completely un-noticed and off the radar.

Then, two items later (within the hour), an earthquake hit. Then the Councilmembers stood up to say, We need to have a discussion about emergency preparedness.

HOW CLASSIC!
