Los Angeles City Attorney Jack Weiss And His Little "Public Records Request" Problem In Van Nuys

JACK WEISS' PUBLIC RECORD REQUEST PROBLEM: Richard showed up again at Van Nuys City Hall to deliver another follow-up public comment regarding his public records request at Jack Weiss' office.

At first, Jack's office did not respond within the 10 day period of time as required by law according to Richard. So he showed up to Van Nuys for a second apperance, this past Friday, to put on the record that the Los Angeles City Attorney Candidate, Jack Weiss, has still not gotten back to Richard.

Today, Richard showed up to announce that Councilmember Jack Weiss' office responded to the request by asking for more time. Unfortunately, Richard says that the time frame (window of opportunity to request a time extention) has already passed.

Richard feels that Mr. Weiss (for City Attorney) is in violation of U.S. law. But this public records request specialist isn't showing up to City Hall and going on TV to try and become the next "public comment superstar" (like ZD, Matt, Miriam, Donna and others). He is showing up to put it down, "on-the-record" (the true benefit of public comment).

AND, Zuma Dogg feels if Jackass is asking for more time, this means he doesn't want what is in those public recrods coming out publicly. After all, Richard has already commented that other Councilmembers like Bernard Parks have already complied with Richard's request in a timely fashion. THIS IS NOT AN ISSUE OF JACK'S OFFICE BEING TOO BUSY TO BUST OUT THE REQUEST. And ZD has a feeling that the guy making this public records request already knows what is in there.

Maybe Jack Weiss thinks he can keep delaying this public records request the way he is ignoring the City Council "Zine" public safety motion regarding "Special Order 40", but Richard has the law on his side; knowlege of the law; and is one of those "Zuma Dogg" kinda guys that just won't stop.

So I think this may have a very interesting conclusion which is why I am posting this thread about the little two minute comment today from Van Nuys regarding Richard's Public Records Request to Jack Weiss.

AGAIN: ZD feeling Richard ain't showing up at City Hall for public comment unless he already knows what is in those public records. STAND BY!
