I hope you give LaBonge an ultimatum at City Council this week, if he doesn't want to protect the assets of this city, then he needs to get out. He must protect Griffith Park in its entirety.

The Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission's meeting to vote on whether or not to recommend Griffith Park as a Historic-Cultural Monument is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 10:00 am on the 10th floor of City Hall. This is confirmed.

Please make every effort to attend. Even if you are going to attend, or have written a letter supporting the application to make Griffith Park a City Historic-Cultural Monument, take a few minutes and register your support at the following website:

Also, please forward this email to other friends of Griffith Park and encourage them to register their support at the above website, add their comments, and most importantly, attend the meeting. A list of registered supporters, and their comments will be emailed to each member of the Historic-Cultural Commission on Wednesday of next week.
