Due to recent events in Superior Court on Friday, regarding the judge's comments on "separation of judicial and legislative powers," -- and the type of enforcement that continues on the boardwalk, in light of the recent FEDERAL INJUNCTION (Aka: ZD did NOT like what he saw this weekend on the boardwalk, regarding LAPD ticket writing)...Matt Dowd and Zuma Dogg have put the City Attotnery's office on a tight deadline. The deadline is Tuesday at 5pm.
Mr. Dowd and myself know there are other big cases you are working on, and we have sat on the back-burner while THEY got priority. But for these next 48 hours, the City Attorney's office will have to work efficiently in answering the question Mr. Dowd & Mr. Dogg posed in writing to the City Attorney's office and Councilman Rosendalh's office.
SO WE JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND AND ARE FLEXIBLE IN YOUR DAY ON MONDAY...EVERYTHING ELSE WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT 48 HOURS. SORRY. This is a deadline the city cannot afford to miss.
NOTICE TO EVERYONE ELSE: And we have the leverage to the point that WHOEVER you are reading this, AND WHATEVER your issue is with the city, no matter HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE (AND HAVE PAID THE CITY)...IT IS SIMPLY GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
And, just in case you are a random blog reader wondering...NO, I am NOT joking. YES, I am COMPLETELY serious. And, if you are laughing at me for this tone, I couldn't care less. I'm merely trying to be a citizen journalist and report the matter in an accurate way, so you can be prepared. LEVERAGE, BABY...WE GOT IT...MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THE CITY, RIGHT NOW....And we warned the city for years, they picked the wrong *$##@Z to FUCK WITH.
