LA City Council pays LA Farmers $480,000 for Brown Act violations. (A State violation. We'll see what happens in FEDERAL court over Dogg/Dowd's.)

SPECIAL ITEM 1 (12 NOON): City Council giving the union members who voted AGAINST City Hall's plan to pay a little more in pension and health care, to reconsider and re-vote, to avoid getting furloughed. Bill Rosendahl says he's confident they WILL reconsider and change vote to accept and join the other unions. (Feels they'll take the deal to prevent furloughs.)

HILARIOUS: SEIU has a website with pictures of L.A.'s worst streets. (Guess it's their PR site to drum up business. Too bad, they announced at budget meeting today, not much filling will be done, anymore. (CHUCK D RAP VOICE: "Don't...don't...don't, DON'T believe the HYPE!)
