NEW POLITICAL SONG in Spirit of Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues": Zuma Dogg's "L.A. City Blues" [Check out Venice's Former LIVE Performer, HERE, in STUDIO!]

POSTING THIS ON L.A. Daily Blog, cause it's a 100% political song, in the spirit of Marvin Gaye (70's) political songs. Here's more about it, called, "L.A. City Blues." (Re-do of "Inner City Blues.")

A producer made a very impressive instrumental remake of Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues." Marvin was known to have political and street lyrics on the smooth R&B grooves. I didn't wanna try to COVER Marvin, and didn't wanna try to learn the whole song, only to not pull it off. BUT, nothin' wrong with a little vocal improv riffing (singing), in the STYLE of Marvin, with a political/street lyric in the SPIRIT of Marvin. I live in L.A., and have been watching the City's decline, for past seven years. This song is based on those experiences. This song is also auto-biographical. Listen to the lyrics. Imagine a John Legend type going off on this! MARVIN GAYE=ALL TIME GREATEST! http://iRadioLIVE.com
