Los Angeles incumbent mayor, Eric Garcetti, actually yanked his representative at Hollywood Neighborhood Council mayoral forum, on February 15, 2017 (and didn't even send a staffer). The forum was a collaborative event, with eight neighborhood councils, involved. Word is, Garcetti is so confident, he is going to easily win; he can ignore the entire election season; and not address voters, even once -- and now, he even pulls his representative. What a slap in the face of each and every person in the audience; and everyone else in the city; he expects to vote for him. (He's been out of town, in Chicago/NYC/Etc., FUNDRAISING, for an election he is so confident he is going to win, without even a run-off, that he refuses to appear or send any represntation.
