This morning, Matt Dowd called me, on Saturday, in the 8am hour. It was 8:58am, but 8 AM HOUR, no less. And even 9am on Saturday is NO TIME to call Zuma Dogg about Venice Beach boardwalk issues...NO MATTER WHAT.
I didn't pick up the phone, but when I saw it was Matt who called, if figured, "Well, gee, if he's calling me at 8:58am on Saturday it must be important or even an emergency." So I called him back.
He told me that ON THURSDAY...SO WAIT A MINUTE...first thing I say is, "Couldn't you wait until TEN A.M. to call me on Saturday, about something from Thursday?
So anyway...I'm not supposed to be up yet...and the call and the issue it was about, triggers a triple-alarm ZD bipolar fire, since I'm always broke and don't even have enough money to function and operate my body. SO I WASN'T BUDGETED TO BE AWAKE IN THE 9AM HOUR!
And then when Matt tells me what our friend got a ticket for...IT TRIGGERED THE BIPOLAR JUICE: The issue: Although the city removed the big signs they had posted all along the boardwalk with the rules declaring that you need to display a city created placard saying, "Donations not Required" -- THEY ARE WRITING TICKETS FOR NOT HAVING A CITY PLACARD DISPLAYED. (Again...they HAD the rules posted...TOOK THEM DOWN...DID NOT POST NEW RULES...AND ARE STILL WRITING TICKETS FOR IT.)
HOWEVER, the signs that say, "No Amplified Sound" (with arrows pointing in both directions) are still plastered all up and down the boardwalk. (I took pictures of about 50 signs before I got bored and walked back.)
SO THEY DO NOT TAKE DOWN THE SIGN WITH THE "NO AMP" RULE THAT THEY ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO ENFORCE -- BUT TOOK DOWN THE SIGN WITH THE RULES THEY ARE STILL ENFORCING. (Seems kinda SHADY!)
AND SINCE ZUMA DOGG HAD TO HEAR ABOUT THIS AT 9AM ON SATURDAY -- AND HE IS NOT ANYONE'S ELECTED REPRESENTATIVE -- HE WANTED TO MAKE SURE THE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVE WAS AWARE -- AND HOPEFULLY NOT HAPPY TO HEAR ABOUT IT, EITHER -- AND WOULD DO SOMETHING.
So Councilman Bill Rosendahl gets a BLINDSIDE call from Zuma Dogg. And there were no WARM & FUZZY, "good morning, how are you's." JUST ZUMA DOGG HAVING A BIPOLAR MELTDOWN ALL OVER POOR BILL, AS HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT, SO HAD TO FILL HIM IN FROM THE TOP.
So first of all, thanks to Bill for not screaming back, "Don't call me on my cell phone on Saturday and start screaming at me." (BILL ain't a pussy -- and he understands that's just how a 9am bipolar Zuma Dogg communicates! THANKS, BILL!)
Because when I explained to Bill what the tickets were being written for, I don't think he liked what he heard, cause he asked me if I had the Sgt's phone number -- and Bill gave him a call.
Apparently, it is the CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE who is telling LAPD Captain to keep writing tickets. (REALLY, TRUTANICH-THE-LOSER? YOU PUT YOUR EGGS IN MARK BROWN'S BASKET, instead of Zuma Dogg's. YOU of all people should know better, Nuch. NOW you are on the LOSING END, because you are choosing to listen to LOSERS instead of the WINNERS. AND THERE IS NO MISTAKE OR QUESTION AS TO WHO IS WHO. YOU are the LOSER. WE are the WINNERS!)
And the councilmember does not get to tell the Sgt what to do. But the council office may always call the CAPTAIN to remind the department they are supposed to be using their precious and becoming much more scare, LAPD resources to protect public safety and violence and crime. NOT THIS SMALL BULLSHIT!!! DO YOU NOT GET IT LAPD???
I GUESS, NOT! It should be noted at this time, that I already had to spend my valuable time and celebrated brain to discuss this issue with the Sgt, ALREADY ONCE THIS WEEK!!!!
BOTTOM LINE: The Sgt will be calling the Captain to get permission to start looking the other way on the bullshit tickets for the placards. AND THEY HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT ANOTHER FEDERAL LAWSUIT, CAUSE NOW ZUMA DOGG KNOWS TWO PEOPLE, PERSONALLY, WHO HAVE GOTTEN TICKETS FOR THIS! So what do I need Linda Luchs bullshit system or Bong Water Kim's silly bullshit? I DON'T...AND Y'ALL BETTER TONE IT DOWN, CAUSE YOU DON'T GOT SHIT, ANYMORE. REMEMBER, DOWD/DOGG AND HOW WE CRUSHED YOU AND TOSSED YOUR FIVE YEARS OF WORK DOWN THE TOILET?
SO THE POINT OF THIS POST IS: I hope it is clear to all involved parties (Linda Luchs, Bong Water Kim, Task Forces, Neighborhood Councils...DO NOT BEGRUDGE LAPD PACIFIC DIVISION FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE YOUR (NOW) ILLEGAL, UNREALISTIC, IDEALISTIC, ANTI-SPIRT OF VENICE, UNCONSTITUTIONAL BULLSHIT.
ZUMA DOGG DOESN'T NEED A FUCKING TASK FORCE OR DUMB NC SYSTEM OR LINDA "SUCKS" LUCHS OR BONG WATER KIM TO GET SH*T DONE!
AND TO THE DEPARTMENT...WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU LISTEN WHEN I CALLED AND WASTED AN HOUR TALKING ABOUT ALL OF THIS, ONLY FOR YOU TO HANG UP AND CONTINUE WRITING TICKETS FOR THE SAME THING?
