VENICE BEACH COMMUNITY ALERT: Snap (Aka: Snapchat) Leasing Residential Housing For Their Corporate Office Use -- As Their Armed Security Thugs Locals On Public Streets

#VENICE LOCALS: Word on the street is that Snap Corporation (Snapchat) has their armed security guards, pretending they are LAPD and telling residents, where to go and what to do...like, "You have to leave, move along..."

If a Barney Fyfe, douchebag #Snap security guard, who is not LAPD, tries to tell you where to go, record them with your device cam -- and tell them where to go! (Back on their private property.)

And, L.A. Councilman Mike Bonin and LAPD Chief Beck need to notify Snap, to notify their security to stay on Snap property -- and do not patrol and enforce public streets.

And, just so everyone knows...if a security guard harrassess/encroaches/threatens a member of the public --- then, it's just two people, mano y mano, on the street -- and you have the right to defend yourself...including if you are a mob of protestors, legally protesting at Market Street, at Snap offices, where this is an issue.

Unless you set foot on private property, being enforced by Snap security, they are nothing more than any other wacko, on Venice streets, trying to get in your business. They have ZERO AUTHORITY OVER YOU -- IF YOU ARE ON CITY SIDEWALK/STREETS/BOARDWALK.

Again, if a security guard gets in someone's business, in a threating way...the person (or persons) may decide there's a need to defend one's self (or selves), against the security guard...be careful, out there, Snap security!

Zuma Dogg knows when a tipping point is close. And, you haven't seen a bunch of crazy, pissed off, Vencie locals protest. None of this sissy DTLA bullshit.

Venice locals will NOT lose street and sidewalk access to a Wall Street corporation.

But, if this happens, to you, just tell the guard, "Security guards are not LAPD; and stop enforcing city streets. Go back on your private property. I am calling the police and telling them you are harassing people on city streets." (See video: Security knows this and will go back on their property, cause they don't want to get fired; unless you have a rouge security guard, in which case, you need to call the police.)

Plus, Snap is leasing residential housing for corporate office use. (It creates a housing shortage for non-Wall Street corporation/real people/residents. And all we hear Councilmember Mike Bonin and his pro-development mafia say -- is that there is a shortage of housing, in Venice.)

This use of residential property is illegal; and it will be stopped; and then they will have to leave. Venice boardwalk was not designed to be corporate headquarters for a Wall Street corporation, which is why it isn't working out.

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Carmen Trutanich Speaks To Zuma Dogg & KABC's Michael Linder on Medical Marijuana, Billboards & His City Attorney Office

The ZumaCAM has LITERALLY been out of commission since July 2, 2009's City of Los Angeles Inauguration Ceremony that Zuma Dogg captured so profusely from begginning to end, including heading over to newly inaugurated Carmen Trutanich's FIRST EVER press conference. This ZumaCAM footage is the ONLY video of this (somewhat) historic event.

Have a lot of footage from the press conference and the mayor and Nuch and Wendy's inauguration and a lot of Zuma Dogg fun with random constituents and some activist beef with the police and the sidewalk.

There will be a lot of new Zuma Dogg videos being posted from this and other happenings around town captured by the ZumaCAM.

But with all the HOOPLA around Trutanich and the issues of medical marijuana, billboards and the overall tone and performance of his office, THIS video is most fitting to be first up; and even bumped my performance of "Man in the Mirror" with a random lady walking down the street and the gospel choir, for this more timely and topic video of ZD and KABC's Michael Linder hittin' up Nuch right away on the two issues on the front burners on this week's news headlines.

AND, he addresses his "tone" right up front on day one.

"The one thing you are going to see out of this office is a working office. We have a task to do. I think the people put us here for a reason. We're not going to be pretty, but we're going to be effective."

VERY RELATED AUDIO: Re-cap of my phone conversation with Nuch today about all of this. I felt he needed to get out there and address some of the issues for his own PR's sake. As I mention in the audio, he's not apologetic, but he was HIGHLY passionate; and I feel that people need to hear Nuch break it down for people the way ZD got to hear him break it down -- after I press his buttons a little and get him all worked up. (OH, you think "I" care? HELL NAW! I'll call him on his cell phone on a beautiful Saturday afternoon on his only day off and start right in. Not a lot of small talk. Just, "Nuch! You GOTTA get out there and blah, blah, blah..." And he WAS right there, ready to engage, and didn't use the excuse of "hey Zuma, it's Saturday afternoon..." It was FULL ON debate and it wasn't a "chill" or relaxed conversation, either. You GOTTA LOVE THAT!

NEW: Council Motion Regarding City Attorney-elect Carmen Trutanich's Office: Council looks for money for 8 new positions

HERE'S THE FANCY WAY OF SAYING THE CITY NOW HAS TO PAY FOR EIGHT PEOPLE FOR THE CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE BECAUSE OF WHAT ROCKTARD DID, AND BECAUSE SHAMELESS LOSERS REFUSE TO LEAVE WITH DIGNITY. SO ZUMA DOGG HAS TO SHAKE THEM OUT: Imagine the outrage once this hits TV 35:

In accordance with Charter Section 1050(d), the City Attorney may appoint to serve at the pleasure of the City Attorney from among persons not then employed in the Office of the City Attorney no more than four assistants who meet the qualifications for those positions, and no more than four other persons. The appointment of all persons serving at the pleasure of the City Attorney terminate when the succeeding City Attorney is sworn in, unless reappointed by the succeeding City Attorney. However, it has been recently reported that the current City Attorney has no such appointments that would terminate upon the end of this term. Rather, the majority of the current City Attorney employees are in "tenured" dead-weight, shameless, loser positions.

Because of the tenured dead-weight loser status of the current City Attorney lazy-ass employees (like Ben Austin and Nick Velasquez) , pending budget reductions and the lack of vacancies in the Office of City Attorney, the flexibility of the City Attorney-elect to bring in his management and administrative team is limited. We need to make every effort to assist the City Attorney-elect during this transition period, so he doesn't investigate us, and to provide the necessary resources to enable him to perform the duties of his office to investigate people, like the ones who vote "no" on this motion.

I THEREFORE MOVE that the City Administrative Officer and the Chief Legislative Analyst to report back to the City Council by June 19, 2009 with the recommendations to provide the necessary qualifications for those positions, and no more than four other persons, in accordance with Charter Section 1050(d).

Presented by: Dennis P. Zine, Councilmember
Seconded by: Eric Garcetti, Zuma Dogg, Janice Hahn

Carmen Trutanich Campaign Update: LESS than TWO WEEKS until critical city attorney election

LA DAILY BLOG CAMPAIGN UPDATE:
Cash on Hand as of 5/2
Trutanich $340,000
Weiss $209,000

WITH LESS THAN TWO WEEKS UNTIL THE CITY ATTORNEY ELECTION (TUESDAY) MAY 19th, I WANTED TO POST THIS EMAIL I GOT FROM NUCH AS A REMINDER TO YOU, AS WELL.

From : "Trutanich for City Attorney"
To : ZumaDogg@Gmail.com
Subject : TRU News: Campaign Update
Date : Fri, May 08, 2009 04:09 PM

Dear TRU Friends,

We are less than two weeks from Election Day. We have been on the campaign trail with our grassroots message for eighteen months. Yes, we have come so far, but this is no time to slow down. I am counting on your ACTIVE support in new and old ways. First, catch up on our news. Then, pick up your phone, reach out to your email buddies, make your final donation, and ask every friend to help bring this race home!

Here is an update of the most current news surrounding the City Attorney's race:

John and Ken and Doug McIntyre Vote Trutanich:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
During Monday evening drive time, I was interviewed on the John and Ken Show. At the end of their segment, John and Ken announced on air that they will vote for me. Doug McIntyre also welcomed me to his broadcast, again urging his listeners to vote Trutanich. These are TRU badges of honor since my hosts are known for their distrust of politicians. Their point is also mine: I am a lawyer, not a politician. Click here for John and Ken, podcast.

TRU Lawn Signs Are Ready for Pick Up:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Due to the overwhelming demand for lawn signs, we have ordered a whole new batch. Call the campaign office at (818) 308-7400 to reserve yours now! From now through Election Day, our headquarters, at 12524 Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, will open from 10 to noon on Saturdays, in addition to weekday business hours, for sign pick up. The signs go quickly, so don't delay!

Trutanich Debates on KCRW Which Way LA:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Last week I debated my opponent, Jack Weiss, on KCRW Which Way LA. His voice cracked when I asked him about his most recent violation of our ethics laws, the hosting of an illegal fundraiser. It is stunning to me that Weiss seeks election to the post responsible for enforcing the very laws that he routinely breaks. Click here to listen to the KCRW podcast.

LA Times Endorses Trutanich, Again!:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The LA Times endorsed me in the primary and has strengthened its message of support for this runoff election: "Trutanich would bring a fresh perspective to City Hall, along with the experience to deal with crime, the backbone to defend the city against lawsuits and threats of lawsuits, and an understanding of the many wearying assaults on neighborhoods that this office is best equipped to combat, from graffiti to dumping to illegal billboards."
Click here to read the entire editorial.

I appreciate all you have done for me and I will never forget it.

Don't forget to vote this May 19th!

Yours TRU-ly,
Carmen Trutanich
