The rate increase for power is slated for May 1, 2008.
BUT, there is NO MENTION of the ADDITIONAL RATE INCREASES to follow on July 1, 2008 AND July 1, 2009 -- plus quarterly pass through increases.
Wait until people figure out that their electric bill is going up 11% in 2008 alone -- with another 7% increase in 2009.
Zuma Dogg hears that the water and power rate increases go to the Budget committee on March 17th -- and then to LA City Council for rubber stamping on March 19th.
Meanwhile, DWP continues to waste money on purpose as thought they are paid commission on dollars wasted, according to a DWP whistleblower lawsuit set for trial April 15, 2008.
