Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate (in the March 07, 2017 election), David Saltsburg (also known as, "Zuma Dogg), is the only candidate with a 14 Point plan, to fix the broken system, that IS L.A. City Hall. It's actually Dr. W.E. I enjoyed attending the #DWP/#LANCC meeting, Saturday; seeing many fellow activists/Neighborhood Council members, I haven't seen in many years; and meeting many folks, for the first time. (I'm like a classic rock legend, of politics, now; and even get the pleasure of smiles and good spirit from my competitors. So, I'm rolling with it. Look how I even paid for a shave and haircut. 12.30.16: CD 5 Councilman Paul Koretz is SUDDENLY against Caruso's 20-story skyscraper, in heart of Beverly Center/La Cienega traffic jam central, after #LATimes story exposed project & campaign contributions. BUT, the final vote (scheduled for early 2017), will most likely occur AFTER the March 07, 2017 election; in which if Koretz is re-elected, will serve his final term, with no worries of re-election (unfettered development, with no repercussion.) L.A. CONTROLLER WENDY GREUEL: Wendy's mom, who passed away a couple years ago, owned Frontier Supply. (Like a Home Depot building supply store.) Since Wendy's mom passed away, I understand Wendy and her brother now own it, and I heard their relationship quickly went south. When Wendy was Councilmember, I was told that if you got the supplies from Frontier Supply for your project (gave Frontier Supply the business for your City of L.A. project) -- allegedly, you would have facilitated project approval. I was told to sit in front of Frontier Supply and watch the trucks that pull into the lot to pick up supplies and compare it to the list of developers who had projects approved.

ANTONIO VILLARAGIOSA & JOSE HUIZAR (Both as CD 14 Councilmembers): Look into the Wyvenwood Project in CD 14 (Boyle Hts area). Campaign money out of Florida that Villaragiosa took from a local TV station owner, had to be given back.

But more money was allegedly given (in a suitcase, perhaps). It is alleged that Huizar took a trip to the Superbowl, one Sunday, to pick up a suitcase of money to help cronies win elections. (I think HIS!) I questioned Huizar about the trip to Florida for Superbowl Sunday...and he was HELL BENT on proving to me that there was no possible way he could have been there. (Even though his story had holes in it.) WHY WAS HE TRYING SO HARD TO CONVINCE ME, ZUMA DOGG, A GADFLY that he did not go to the superbowl --- and spend so much time trying to defend a time line. (He sounded like O.J. Simpson.) But there are HARDCORE allegations of corruption on this project. SCARY STUFF...SCARY PEOPLE!!!

AND...PENSIONGATE! (Oh no, Antonio. ZD going to FBI with his "A" material!)

Could This L.A. Times Story Be The Beggining of the End For L.A. City Political Corruption

Here's a little item that was on the front page of Tuesday's Los Angeles Times:

(A) feisty entrepreneur who built a multimillion-dollar grocery store chain by catering to some of Los Angeles' poorest communities, was convicted of racketeering, solicitation of m*rder, bribery and other crimes Monday by a federal court jury.

The grocery store founder faces potential life imprisonment as a result of the verdict.

Could this be the reason there were no positions in the Obama administration for Antonio Villaraigosa and Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti? This was a FEDERAL conviction. Do you not think that the Prez has access to this information and had a little peek before slamming the door on Los Angeles City Hall (Villar and G-Shady)? I DO!

Do you think all you need to do is bribe one commissioner? Maybe because elected officials get to accept "campaign contributions" they don't have to accept bribes. But wait until you hear what type of questionable money may have been being used (keep reading):

But what this may end up being tied to is the Vignali story where then President Clinton pardoned Vignali just before leaving office. Vignali and The Supermarket Mogul had a real estate land development company together doing business in Los Angeles.

Turns out, in a freak coincidence, the money being used to fund these deals; the deals that were being approved by City Hall, along with hard to get variances that were needed to move these developer mountains -- WAS LAUNDERED MONEY!

All the while, local and state politicians went along with all of this. And although I know the Federal government takes the types of actions that were being taken by the Grocery Store mogul, alone, VERY SERIOUSLY...I think they may be just as concerned, if not more so, with any shenanigans of actual elected representatives of the United States (City Council, Assembly, Senate) that were a part of any of this.

But it will all depend on whether or not the Supermarket Mogul decides to offer any additional information, or just stay silent and leave all of his untold stories behind him in the past. Look for the answer to that question sometime around the sentencing phase.

Personally, I haven't seenVillaraiogsa's name associated with this story as other elected officials have been. So although there may be smoke around Villaraigosa, he may not be the primary focus of any further investigations. There will be a story next Tuesday in the LA Times about the impending takeover of the motion picture traffic police services by the active police department from the retired officers who have been doing it for 30 years plus.

It's a scandal on more than one level, but I don't think that will be the Times angle on the story.

Surely a judge will see the overt robbery from taxpayers occurring at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power every time City Hall transfers revenue from ratepayers from the utility to the general fund.

City officials have used this money year after year to hide the fact that they squander the public's money without regard to the public interest.

DWP revenue is supposed to be used to run the utility and keep its infrastructure modern. Instead, the infrastructure has rotted, and annual increases in rates have been imposed to keep all city contractors and city employees fat and happy.

The DWP has been a money-making machine for City Hall for decades as city officials have falsely bulked revenues from providing water and electricity by deferring important maintenance and improvements to the utility, then sucking that revenue out in annual batches - $182 million last fiscal year alone.
