BREAKING NEWS: DOUG MCINTYRE IS BACK ON THE AIR ON 790-KABC RADIO!

Doug McIntyre’s RED EYE RADIO IS NOW BACK ON THE AIR (and internet) on 790-KABC/Los Angeles from Midnight, until the station signs off at 3am. (That 12mid-3am.) Listen tonight after Kevin James on 870 KRLA (9pm-12mid).

So when you are listening to Kevin, it's a reminder that DOUG is coming up!

Doug has already been doing an early morning show for the MEGA-LEGENDARY WABC radio in New York (hoody hoo!) -- and now, L.A. joins DOUG'S new "Red Eye Radio" network. He's got a station in Oregon, and more stations coming!

ZD was a LONG TIME LISTENER of Doug's original "Red Eye Radio Show" -- and Doug can do a GREAT SHOW at that time, without all the nutty traffic and sports and constant breaks that you must endure when doing a morning drive show.

AND AGAIN, if you can't be awake at that hour, you can wake up and listen to it on the podcast stream in the morning!

LISTEN NOW: Audio of City Council Candidate Zuma Dogg on KRLA (Candidate Forum) And SPECIAL GUEST on KABC

Thanks so much to AM 870 - KRLA's KEVIN JAMES, who did a really great job running the station's L.A. City Council CD 2 (On-Air) Candidate Forum over the past two nights.

Doug McIntyre of KABC is having each of the candidates on in his 9am hour for a few minutes (and it's just about done), but Kevin dedicated over an hour, two nights in a row, with all the candidates (except Essel and Krekorian who didn't make it for whatever reasons) and it gave anyone who is interested in the city and district a chance to at least hear each candidate to "kick the tires" for the election. It's probably the MOST people will have to decide from, besides the fliers they don't trust. So thanks to Kevin James for doing this. Forget about whether you agree with him, or not, on the issues. He's a real machine to be able to crank out a show like he does, day in and day out in that lonely studio at night. (SAME WITH DOUG MCINTYRE...THEY ARE TWO AMAZING BROADCASTERS just in their ability to carry a show for hours, day in and day out.)

AND MCINTYRE...YOU MANIAC!!! What better way to cap off a FIVE (5) HOUR radio show (that starts at FIVE (5) AM, by topping it off with an "all night" show, on the overnight tonight.

SO IT'S KEVIN FROM 9pm-12mid...then DOUG on 790 KABC, tonight around midnight (after Dodger Talk). So tune in, cause hopefully ZD, Rita and a lot of other callers will call in on Doug's free format show tonight.

BUT, back to Kevin...great job on the forum, and you know ZD LOVES being INSIDE the studio, instead of INSIDE my car, on hold for 2 hours, like I was this week to get my couple minutes on the air.

AND, ZD was all jacked up on too much coffee, with not enough sleep, and ran in there without eating...so it was a very frenetic energy ZD was putting out there for the calm Kevin. (I'M SURE HE COULDN'T WAIT TO GET ME OUT OF THERE! LOL!)

But it was ZD's magic 12 hours from 9pm (Kevin's show) and 9am for Doug's KABC show!!! Topped it off with a loooooooong council meeting with a lot of time on TV 35, and it's been a BLAST for a regular guy like me, anyway. I've always LOVED radio, went into radio for a career, and it's VERY, VERY gratifying to be showing up as a guest, instead of an employee to say what I have to say.

HERE'S THE AUDIO FROM LAST NIGHT'S FORUM AND CD 2 CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE ZUMA DOGG ON MCINTYRE'S KABC MORNING SHOW TODAY:

David vs Goliath: Zuma Dogg vs the OTHER Candidates and THE MEDIA

My name is David (Saltsburg) and my candidacy sure as hell is like "David and Goliath" vs the rest of the sources and forces.

KABC's Doug McIntyre has already had on eight of the ten candidates in the LA City Council CD 2 election...and the only other candidate who has not been heard from is booked already.

DOUG keeps TELLING me I am going to be on the show and he is going to have someone call me.

He told me that in person a couple weeks ago at a party we were attending together, and he emailed me that he will book me and I keep hearing that someone from the station is going to call me to book me on the show.

DOUG, I've called your show HOW many times over the past three years (including when you were on overnight).

YOU'VE ALREADY HAD EIGHT OTHER CANDIDATES AND THE OTHER ONE IS BOOKED.

THE ELECTION IS COMING UP.

IS IT POSSIBLE I CAN GET BOOKED ON YOUR SHOW BEFORE THE ELECTION IS HELD, SINCE YOU HAVE ALREADY HAD EVERYONE ELSE (except for the 9th candidate who is also booked).

AND FOR SOME REASON, ALTHOUGH I AM A LONG TIME LISTENER AND ALWAYS FIRST TO ASK TO COME ON YOUR SHOW...

I'M STILL WAITING JUST TO HAVE A TIME SCHEDULED???

How about Wednesday, Sept 23rd? (Of course the election is the 22nd.)

DOUG, it's 213-785-7272. If you need me to audition, you can listen to me on Kevin James 870 KRLA this evening (Thursday) at 9pm.

NOTE: Tamar Galatzan told Kevin James during his extensive coverage of the election that of all the other candidates, Zuma Dogg is who she would choose for "Chief of Staff."

That ought to end a lot of speculation regarding the Dogg. Tamar is willing to mention me as her Chief of Staff, among all the other candidates, so I guess she feels I'm the one she would trust with her reputation, district and people. So that's quite a nice thing.

NOTE: Yesterday (9/9/09) this blog (Zuma's LA DAILY BLOG) just had a RECORD amount of page views since the inception of the blog. Thanks for reading. Interesting that it is just as we approach the homestretch of the CD2 City Council election.

And finally, I'm going to pull up my podcast from when I was on Doug's show a year and a half ago when I predicted and warned of this exact economic crisis and all the loss of jobs and services we will be facing. Doug said, "Zuma Dogg speaks the truth!" (And now Parks is a hero for talking about it after the fact, and a great job he is doing, and you KNOW I mean that...but you COULD have a councilmember in City Hall who not only figured it out on his own in enough time to prepare for it, but warned city council at the meetings and even was calling radio stations as a mere concerned citizen trying to warn people so they could take action.

So in celebration of the other 9 candidates being on Doug McIntyre's KABC radio show, while I listen to them and have Doug keep telling me, "We'll get back to ya, kid," here's a blast from the past ZD from Doug's show. 10:00AM UPDATE: David Saltsburg (Zuma Dogg) will be appearing LIVE, in studio, with Doug McIntyre on 790 KABC, tomorrow morning (Friday) at 9am. You can listen to this seminal, pivital, Los Angeles political and pop culture moment that all will remember EXACTLY where they were when they heard "ZD on McIntyre for the City Council election" LIVE on KABC.

Zuma Dogg KABC Radio Soundbite on Rocky Delgadillo (CA Attorney General Candidate)

Thanks so much to Michael Linder of Doug McIntyre's KABC 790/Los Angeles morning drive radio show for grabbing Zuma Dogg at City Hall and capturing this soundbyte from Big ZD on outgoing Shitty Attorney Rocktard Delgadilldo who is humiliating himself as a joke of a candidate for CA Attorney Generaloser.

Michael set me up by saying, "Zuma Dogg, City Council just paid tribute to outgoing City Attorney Rocky Delgadilo. What do YOU think of his adminstration, Zuma Dogg." (HUH...HUH...HUH...I WAS CRANKY, ANYWAY!)

Click here and forward in 22 minutes into this segment. (Hit "Open with" when given choice and player should pop up and start playing. THEN, forward in 22 minutes.)

And thanks to Doug for the comments and for the additional pile on!

COUNCIL MEETING AUDIO: City Pension Expert Explains How Villaraigosa "PACKS" Pension Board (Blueprint For $7 Billion Pension Corruption!)

I know Councilmember Dennis Zine will be on Doug McIntryre's 790 KABC/Los Angeles morning drive radio show on Friday to talk about the pension scandal that City Council finally addressed this week, after numerous public comment requests by Zuma Dogg. It was the DREAM agenda item of all time for Big ZD, because a panel of the three city pension funds and their experts were forced to admit all the stuff Zuma Dogg has been complaining about. HA HA! No one can ever say I am not completey, 100% DEAD ON THE (DEAD) MONEY ON THIS ONE! And it's the BIGGEST "ONE" OF ALL TIME!

Point is, although it will be a great introductory discussion of this matter on Doug's show, I know the Councilmember won't really be able to get into the true details of the shadiness (on the mayor's part and lay it all out the way ZD is able to as someone who not only studied it beyond anything anyone would want to understand, but because it's COMPLETELY understandable that a Councilmember isn't going to rock the boat THAT hard. (So maybe Doug will give me a couple minutes to fill in some of the "in between" details on Villar's scheme after Dennis hangs up.

HOWEVER, I don't know if Doug will have audio from the meeting, but here are two clips I went back and found from the meeting that may be helpful in preparation of the segment and it is cleared by the Brown Act for airing.

LISTEN TO THIS ONE ON "PACKING" OF THE PENSION BOARD!!! It explains how this scheme occurs as chronicled by Zuma Dogg as it was happening under Mayor Villaraiogsa.

"I don't think one person should have this authority."
"I can get the five votes whenever I want them."
