CITY SIDEWALK CRACK AND FALLING INTO THE STREET, AS THE MTA BUS COMES SPEEDING BY! THIS MUST END! I CANNOT ENDURE ANOTHER ROUND OF THIS. I WOKE UP TODAY, WEIGHING LESS THAT I HAVE SINCE A YOUNG TEENAGER, AND THAT IS NOT A GOAL I WAS TRYING TO ACHIEVE. IT'S CALLED, IN VERY BIG HEALTH CRISIS...AND I NEED TO BE DEAD, DEAD, DEAD, DEAD...CAUSE I SURE AS FUCK DON'T FEEL LIKE ANOTHER DAY OF THIS ISOLATED AND STARVATION HELL. FUCK YOU! DON'T DO A GOD DAMN THING. JUST WAIT TILL I'M DEAD AND SAY, "Damn, I thought someone else would have helped him." The problem I'm suffering from is caused by L.A. City Councilman Bill Rosendahl's BULLSHIT, ILLEGAL law, THAT HE LOST IN FEDERAL COURT OVER, OVER A YEAR AGO, AND THAT SON OF A BITCH, HASN'T PAID ME FOR MY DAMAGES, YET. IF I'M DEAD, THE CITY'S ILLEGAL LAW THAT PREVENTED ME FROM MY LIFE, IS THE CAUSE!. You should call him and tell him I am suffering because of HIM. 310-367-0237.

And, oh yeah, FUCK YOU BILL ROSENDAHL, you no good greedy corrupt bastard: Hey Kathy Riorodan! You should hear the stuff Bill says about you. He thinks you are a COMPLETE BASKETCASE/5150, worse than Zuma Dogg. He told me, "forget about Kathy. She's nutz." And you should hear what Rosendahl told me about Richard Riordan. Hey Richard Riordan, Bill never forgave you for cheating on your wife, when she was dying. HE THINKS YOU ARE A REAL SICK-FUCK OF A DISGRACE for that, but Bill Rosendahl told me he's still nice and cordial with you, socially. (He's still running for office!)

PENSION FRAUD! Billions were lost at both the city and state level, and the result is the city and state can no longer afford to operate in a manner the United States is accustomed to. BUT EVEN WORSE, I honesty do feel, it's becoming a real NATIONAL HOMELAND SECURITY ISSUE!!! THE CITY AND STATE IS BECOMING TOO BROKE TO ENFORCE ITSELF!

AND NEXT YEAR WILL BE WORSE, WHEN THE 2013 BUDGET KICKS IN!

You may know that in New York State, Andrew Cuomo was able to take a nice bite out of pension crime, with his hard and decent work. But in California, it's a different story.

While these "Crimes of the Century," (WHICH THEY ARE, because the municipal pension funds are the biggest hunk of cash outside of Bernakie's money printing machine, so the losses make it the biggest fraud crime in U.S. history!), now Governor Jerry Brown was California Attorney General. He didn't do squat, cause he goes to the weddings and bat mitzvahs of the people facilitating the crimes. (The people who run the capital equity firms that have been backing his political career, since he was dating Linda Ronstadt.)

Then there is Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley. Well, it's hard for him to bust pension crime, when the number one KINGPIN in the ENTIRE COUNTY is Supervisor Gloria Molina. So SHE won't let the D.A. make a move.

And current CA Attorney General Kamala Harris dated San Fran KINGPIN Willie Brown, and she's on the same team as the rest of the corruption crew

SO FBI AGENTS ARE YOU ONLY HOPE, MR. PRESIDENT.

BILLIONS WERE LOST (-20% of fund) IN WHAT LACERS (L.A. City Employee Retirement System/Pension Fund) EXECS had to admit, "were invested in overly-risky, non-investment grade, "alternative investments." That's kinda like one guy saying, "Hey, give me $100 million in pension money, and I'll give you $15 million back, and if we lose it all, WHO CARES? WE GOT PAID, and the general fund pays back the pension fund. LOSE-WIN!"

AND RECENTLY, Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension (LAFPP) Chief Michael Perez, went on the record to say, "The consultant report and audit said the city should have ZERO (0) dollars invested in "alternative investments," on Wall Street and in real estate, but we don't agree and are heavily invested in alternative investments."

SO IT'S STILL AT RISK...AND THERE IS NO MORE BOTTOM TO FALL THROUGH!!!

VILLARAIGOSA IS DANGEROUS, BECAUSE HE IS DESPERATE!!!

ROCKER! L.A. Pension Fraud For Dummies (Connect The Dots of 'Guilty As Charged' To Villaraigosa & CRA/LA Projects) - THIS POST CONTAINS EVERYTHING!

It's all been blogged about (pension fraud, that is), and my biggest challenge at this point, is focusing and funneling all the information into ONE POST, so people can take it all in, without having to get tangled up in the intricate web that has been spun by ZD on this topic.

FBI: Here's Mayor Villaraigosa...PENSION FRAUD 101 - An Introduction

Dear FBI:

Much has been blogged about over the past few years, and past few days regarding the topic of LACERS (Los Angeles City Employee Retirement System) -- and it's accompanying LAFPP (Los Angeles Police & Fire Pension) funds.

Check this blog for recent posts on this topic from the past two weeks on LA City News.com. (As Federal Investigators, won't take you took long to find. Just look at "LA CITY NEWS HEADLINES" links on right hand column of this blog...PLUS, I posted top recent links below, in this blog thread.)

AND FOR NOW, here is a brief rundown of the framework/blueprint for pension fraud. (The reason this continues to be the top issue blogged here, is because billions were lost in these CRA/LA and other real estate and LLC investments. And now the city must bail out these pension funds out of general fund money. And this shock wave has caused the city to layoff/furlough 1000's of employees, with more to come. And has put all department and services, including Fire and Police services at risk. This has all become a tremendous public safety crisis. And the players involved need to be removed from their elected positions.

INTRODUCTION:

In 2005, Antonio Villaraigosa was sworn in as Los Angeles mayor. First thing he did was appoint Elliot Broidy, Sean Harrigan and Kelly Candalle to the LACERS pension board as commissioners.

Secondly, Villaraigsa appointed Wetherly Capital's lead counsel, William H. Jackson as head of CRA/LA. Wetherly is a capital venture firm in Los Angeles headed by Richard Ziman (also of American Value Partners.)

Also part of Ziman's Wetherly Capital politically connected team were Richard Ramirez, Dan Weinstein and Vicky Schiff.

Ziman (Wetherly) holds fundraisers for people like Villaragisoa, Jack Weiss, Christine Essel (current head of CRA/LA.) In other words, he backs candidates through his political fundraisers.

Richard Riordan ALSO part of "Team Wetherly Capital" as political fundraiser and backer at Wetherly fundraisers.

So Team Wetherly Capital backs Villaraigosa and he becomes mayor. He then appoints Elliot Broidy & cronies mentioned above to LACERS pension board and Wethelry's lawyer as head of CRA/LA.

Then pension money is funneled into shady, overly risky, non-investment grade financial instruments in the form of fake, phony LLCs on Wall Street, bogus real estate deal, including CRA/LA projects like Grand Avenue Project and LA Live/Ritz-Carlton.

The investments are made through McFarlane Urban Developers (Victor McFarlane). McFarlane is ninety percent (90%) funded with LACERS money.

Since billions were lost, once these projects went BUST, and after all the money went into the "front-end loaded" management and construction contracts and was GONE) --L.A. City CAO told L.A. Council that the top reason the city lost billions in pension money is, "because of the mayor's pension packing power (can appoint four or five commissioners to the board) and the city's investment in overly-risky, non-investment grade financial instruments and real estate projects. And specifically, the Henry Cisneros HUD Workforce Housing project.)

Harrigan & Candalle stepped down from the LACERS board amidst controversy for their participation in a Wetherly Capital fundraiser for Jack Weiss.

Elliot Broidy has plead guilty and is in jail.

Julio Ramirez has plead guilty and is in jail.

Victor McFarlane stepped down from some things he was a part of over pension controversy. (Check it out online.)

Dan Weinstien & Vicky Schiff were busted by NY AG Andrew Cuomo and took a deal that shut down Wetherly Capital FOREVER and they were fined a million dollars.

IT'S ALL OUT OF LOS ANGELES AND THEY ALL TIE TO MAYOR ANTONIO VILLARAIGOSA -- AND RECORD LEVELS OF MUNICIPAL BANKRUPTING MONEY WAS LOST.

ALSO: Check into Villaraigosa's "VACATION" to Iceland to see if he perhaps flew there to try and talk the Iceland government into settling on some of those derivative markets they were playing that crashed on L.A. City Hall in the '08 crash.

Huh...huh...huh...I'm TRYIN' to keep the bipolar-blogging genie in the bottle...and if you look at Wednesday's blogging compared to the PAST two weeks of ZD blogging, you will see the genie was able to tap a nap, today. (Or at least a rest.) But, I didn't hear back from the city at the end of the day, to let me know what's up. So I HOPE I hear something from city hall on THURSDAY morning.

Cause I'm gonna wake up, STILL be stuck in "settlement hold" -- not able to move ahead or carry on with my life...not able to mitigate my nutrition, which triggers early morning bipolar attacks...THEN, I start thinking of the past five years -- and how the city violated my first amendment rights at Venice Beach for FIVE YEARS...and all the rude cut offs and ejections during my comments at the council meeting -- and all the memories...

AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT...

Mainly, I'm cranky today, because I REALLY HAVE had enough of all the increasing hot air being blown to increase efficiency, reduce waste, more accountability/transparency and job creation -- WITHOUT ANY OF YOU WINDBAGS COMMITTING TO LEARNING DEMING'S 14 POINTS OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT. And the other issue, is this week Richard Riordan -- AND NOW U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA has addressed the downside of having government money (LIKE L.A. CITY PENSION MONEY) invested on Wall Street. MORE BELOW VIA TWEETS. Hopefully, this will shame some of you into at least secretly studying Deming's 14 points. Can't wait till one of you BLOW ME AWAY...cause many of you are MUCH BIGGER GENIUSES in the areas where this stuff comes in handy! PLEASE! SOMEONE TAKE MY CROWN. And remember, regarding the pension money...it is overly invested in overly-risky, non-investment grade "alternative investments" on Wall Street. (Which is basically a wink and a handshake from some of these people who plead guilty over all of this. AND, I remind you the CAO's office reminds ZD, "As goes Wall Street, goes the city's treasury." (ARE YOU WILLING TO RISK IT.) AND FINALLY, YES, the reason libraries are closed, and people are furloughed/laid off/not working and all the additional side effects of this budget crisis IS BEING DEALT WITH TODAY, NOT over structural pension problems down the line that haven't gotten here yet, BUT BECAUSE OF TWO WORDS, "investments" and "alternative" (not necessarily in that order). HUGE PAYOUT ALERT: City of LA & Department of Water and Power (DWP) Being Sued For Wrongful Termination Over No-Bid Contract Shadiness (THIS IS BIG!)

Ooooweee is April 15, 2008 gonna be a bad day for the City of Los Angeles and especially DWP. Not because that's tax deadline day, but because that's when the lawsuit against LA City and DWP is scheduled in LA Superior Court over wrongful termination of a DWP employee who blew the whistle on a shady no-bid contract deal, awarded to a company who supplied inferior and un-safe janitorial and custodial products -- and at a over-priced/higher prices.

Not only did workers complain, but so did local vendors who were shut out of business with the City and DWP. Complaints were made on numerous occasions before LA City Council.

Workers who complained were put under surveillance, harrassed and followed to their homes.

One of the issues, were these "pop-up tents" that a vendor was supplying DWP to protect workers from sun (provide shade) and shelter from rain. Well, the contract was pulled, and handed over to another vendor, who supplied what workers claimed were clearly inferior tents. City Council sent a deputy to inspect the tents and reported back that the pop-up tents, were indeed, clearly inferior. (Especially since they had tags saying, "Do not sell in State of California" since they were a fire safety hazard/not labeled as fire retardant.)

Due to this pressure, the contract was pulled from the new vendor (providing the shoddy tents); and handed back to the original vendor. (Whose idea it was to provide these tents to DWP in the first place and was even given one of those "Dog and Pony Show" awards by City Council.)

However, that was the last business they ever got from the City since, and have been shut out like all but one vendor, as some claim.

THEN, the DWP employee who did the whistle-blowing was fired, and the patronage/favored supply company was given new contracts.

Eventually, after Laura Chick's office had to look into it and contract with the patronage supplier was terminated (although was never investigated further), but, some say the company is still the "no-bid contractor of choice" through fake, dummy account names.

DWP was hoping for a summary judgment from the Superior Court Judge; however the eight people involved in this lawsuit against the City and DWP wanted the story to be told; and for the details to be put down on the record. (DWP's worst nightmare.)

So the judge refused a summary judgment, because she realized the First Amendment component. (Allowing the eight to get the story out and put it on record.)

April 15, 2008 is when it is scheduled at LA Superior Court.

Maybe we will read about this at some point in LA Times or Daily News.
