You may know that in New York State, Andrew Cuomo was able to take a nice bite out of pension crime, with his hard and decent work. But in California, it's a different story.

While these "Crimes of the Century," (WHICH THEY ARE, because the municipal pension funds are the biggest hunk of cash outside of Bernakie's money printing machine, so the losses make it the biggest fraud crime in U.S. history!), now Governor Jerry Brown was California Attorney General. He didn't do squat, cause he goes to the weddings and bat mitzvahs of the people facilitating the crimes. (The people who run the capital equity firms that have been backing his political career, since he was dating Linda Ronstadt.)

Then there is Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley. Well, it's hard for him to bust pension crime, when the number one KINGPIN in the ENTIRE COUNTY is Supervisor Gloria Molina. So SHE won't let the D.A. make a move.

And current CA Attorney General Kamala Harris dated San Fran KINGPIN Willie Brown, and she's on the same team as the rest of the corruption crew

SO FBI AGENTS ARE YOU ONLY HOPE, MR. PRESIDENT.

BILLIONS WERE LOST (-20% of fund) IN WHAT LACERS (L.A. City Employee Retirement System/Pension Fund) EXECS had to admit, "were invested in overly-risky, non-investment grade, "alternative investments." AND RECENTLY, Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension (LAFPP) Chief Michael Perez, went on the record to say, "The consultant report and audit said the city should have ZERO (0) dollars invested in "alternative investments," on Wall Street and in real estate, but we don't agree and are heavily invested in alternative investments."

ALERT: CalPERS portfolio lost $18 billion since July 1 (IMAGINE WHAT HAPPENED, THIS PAST WEEK, AFTER WALL STREET PLUNGE!) HOW'S L.A. CITY'S PENSION?

BREAKING NEWS via LA TIMES (8/9/11): CalPERS portfolio has lost $18 billion in value since July 1 (Imagine how much was lost this past week, during Wall Street plunge!)

After posting its best annual performance in 14 years, the California Public Employees' Retirement System is giving back a sizable portion of the 20.7% investment return it reported for the fiscal year that ended June 30. (Because that's what happens when things are propped up on a house of cards, filled with smoke and mirrors. IT'S FAKE, y'all!)

The value of the country's largest public pension fund was $220 billion at market's close on Monday, down 7.6% or about $18 billion, CalPERS said Tuesday. [That means services, programs, education funding...EVERYTHING will be down by 7.6%, or about $18, give or take some billions.]

"It's bad, but it's not 2008," said Joseph Dear, CalPERS' chief investment officer, in an interview on CNBC. "We have a crisis induced by lack of confidence in the U.S. and European political systems, combined with gloomier and gloomier economic growth forecasts." [When you say it's not as bad as 2008, did you hop into your, "Back to the Future" DeLeorian? Cause I didn't know we recovered, are not headed further south and that the stock market closed for the last time, preventing further losses, in the future. IT IS NOT OVER LACK OF CONFIDENCE! CONFIDENCE CAN RETURN ALL IT WANTS! MANUFACTURING JOBS WILL NOT BE RETURNING, and you have proven you do not know how to "create" them...only "buy" them.]

Wall Street's massive stock sell-off that began last week "is a tipping point," Dear said, "but it's not a time to panic and run with fear out of the market." [NO! Last time you lost -20%...still PLENTY more room to go. Keep the pension money pumpin' into OVERLY-RISKY, NON-INVESTMENT GRADE, CRONY LLCs on Wall Street. CalPERS was underweight in its stock portfolio at the close of the last fiscal year and now is "considering whether we can go back in" to make long-term investments, Dear said. [YEAH, THAT'S the problem...not overly-risky investments, like Grand Ave Project and all that subprime, bubble-up, real estate...it's not the economy, everything's fine...the only problem was...wasn't betting BIG enough/not rollin' enough dice! SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED GAMBLER'S ANONYMOUS! HOW COME THE INVESTMENTS YOU MADE DIDN'T RISE, BUT TANKED?]

Though Dear said he didn't expect the U.S. economy to fall into a double-dip recession, he conceded that the outlook for short-term growth was not rosy. [WHO CARES WHAT THIS MORON THINKS, AT THIS POINT? HE JUST LOST PLENTY OF BILLIONS. HE HAS LOUSY INSIGHTS, AND MAKES LOUSY DECISIONS. But I guess, THIS TIME...he's got the fundamentals down and is all of the sudden a genius.]

Those comments contrasted with Dear's enthusiasm for the 20.7% investment return that CalPERS announced on July 18, covering the 2010-11 fiscal year.

"The portfolio is quite healthy with positive benchmark-beating gains for nearly all of our asset classes over the past year," Dear said at the time. "Global equity [public stocks], private equity, fixed income, inflation-linked and cash equivalents all did well, and our real estate portfolio is back in positive territory after reversals during the financial crisis and recession." [AND YOU ARE A MORON WHO WOULD LOSE A SIMPLE "SHELL GAME" WITH A CROOK AND HIS CREW ON NY'S TIMES SQUARE. Zuma Dogg Explains How Today's Wall Street DEVASTATION, HAS DIRECT IMPACT ON L.A. City's GENERAL FUND, and how it will affect AEG/Stadium Deal

FIRST OF ALL, to the people concerned about this AEG/Stadium/Convention Center deal, that Councilman Paul Koretz already stated, on the record, that he fears can push the city over the edge of bankruptcy, with one mis-step...here is what ZUMA DOGG is thinking, today, after last week's initial Wall Street tumble, followed up, with a little "clarification" for those wondering if it was gonna "bounce back" today (or anytime, soon.)

FIRST OF ALL, even though I already said, FIRST OF ALL: ZUMA DOGG calls for L.A. City Council to run a "due diligence" check on Anshultz's finances, since he is guaranteeing the loan, from what I hear. ALSO, on AEG, if they are also involved in the financing.

BECAUSE, I already heard they took a BIG HIT in '08/'09, like the rest of the global economy, invested on Wall Street. And I bet they didn't withdraw everything out of the stock market, and invest it in GOLD. (Not fast enough...commodities, not fun enough. Can flip and do derivative games and risky leverages, and what not.)

SO AFTER TODAY...unless the market comes RALLYING BACK like a left over bottle rocket, from last month, when everyone thought it was gonna KEEP GOING UP FOREVER!!!, even though the U.S. Govt operates the same as the subprime loans that put us in this spot, in '08, '09 and today.

AND YES, I am WELL AWARE OF, and can do nothing but RECOLLECT all the cranky memories, of COUNTLESS, RELENTLESS trips to L.A. Dear Federal Investigators,

I have a feeling, based on investigations launched by Andrew Cuomo (when he was NY AG), and investigations launched by SEC/Feds into CalPERS, you are not unfamiliar with this blog.

And perhaps a post, or two, has triggered some of what is being investigated. But, just in case...since y'all are knocking yourself out, at this point, to pull the plug on @Villaraiogsa's City Hall administration, here are some things to check out, that may even end up being the BIGGEST FISH:

LACERS (L.A. City Employees Retirement System): And that system, is one of organized racketeering that resulted in BILLIONS lost during the Wall Street crash in '08/'09, when the pension fund lost -20% of it's value (even though they projected/expected/planned for a +8% INCREASE. DOH! Their bad!) Only to have it announced during the L.A. City Council meeting by LACERS that the billions (up to $7 billion) was lost in "overly-risky, non-investment grade Wall Street and real estate investments (at the peak of real estate bubble); most notably the Henry Cisneros L.A. City Workforce Housing. With the panel, testifying before council, on the record, adding, "the problem is the mayor's pension-packing power." (The mayor stacks the deck with four appointments. Every vote can go in their favor.)

And when you read these posts, especially the Cuomo Report that details how the corruption went down in New York State, keep in mind, the people busted by Cuomo were from and operating out of Los Angeles. Many of these people and their cronies were appointed by Villaraigosa to the LACERS and CRA commissions. Where pension money was funneled into the CRA and other projects by the commissioners he appointed.

Capital Equity firms backed Villaragiosa for mayor, then he appoints the people who work at these firms to the pension and other boards as commissioners. Many of them have stepped down under controversy or have been arrested and are currently in prison. It's a pretty small circle. A RING, if you will. And away we go:
