L.A.'s RENEWABLE ENERGY SCAM - NIKO Consulting, Sage Advisors AND YOUR LOCAL POLITICIAN (John Perez, Villaraigosa, Jose Huizar) - See: City of VERNON

[PICTURED: "Is this REALLY HAPPENING cause Garcetti pissed off Zuma Dogg and the City Attorney insulted him over lousy Venice Beach settlement talks? This could become ACTUALLY costly BEYOND ZD's Venice Beach T-shirt sales.]

FUCK IT! I'm getting crankier by the minute.

I already exposed and MESSED UP Wetherly Captial and their cronies (many of whom are now behind bars, paid millions of dollars in penalty/guilty fees, or have resigned and been put out of business for life) - PLUS, everyone STILL waiting around for the CALIFORNIA & LOS ANGELES SHOE TO DROP ON THE "ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS" with CalPERS & LACERS pension money.

And NO NEED to continue to beat a dead horse in the Los Angeles Housing Department alleged Federal investigation into Rent Escrow conflicts of interest.

SO TIME TO WORK MY WAY UP TO A CURRENT, ACTIVE ISSUE...INVOLVING NO UN-FAMILIAR NAMES. Just names I haven't had time to blog about. Cause I've been trying to retire.

BUT, I am going to be around as a gadfly on TV 35 and blogger FOR A VERY LONG TIME, it appears to me...SO TIME FOR THIS ONE:

RENEWABLE ENERGY SCAM: (John Perez, Villaraigosa, Kevin Deleon and work your way down the slime ladder.) NIKO CONSULTING backs candidates like Christine Essel, Janice Hahn, Wendy Greuel, and probably the losers mentioned above. Sage Advisors Inc are a renewable energy consultant. BOTH work out of the same office address and suite number. ALONG WITH SANTA MARIA GROUP (the real estate company used by these elected officials.)
  • WISH MY LAWSUIT SETTLEMENT was as much money as Wendy Greuel paid Niko Consulting for her Controller bid. And ZD is just gettin' warmed up. 3 minutes ago
  • "RENEWABLE ENERGY CONSULTANTS & A REAL ESTATE COMPANY": Sage Advisors Inc & The Santa Maria Group. (Niko Consulting. Kevin De Leon, Lara.) 6 minutes ago
  • THIS ADDRESS sure pops up a lot as an address for consultants: 221 S Figueroa St # 240 Los Angeles, CA 90012-3869 (NIKO CONSULTING, etc.) 16 minutes ago
  • I REALLY, REALLY HATE that THIS is the energy you have dragged out of me city hall, just when I thought I could FORGET all this dumb stuff. about an hour ago
  • DAMN IT, Garcetti, Huizar, Rosendahl, et al...I should have been OUT OF HERE 2 WEEKS AGO! NOW LOOK at what you unleashed in me/on to blog.! about 2 hours ago
  • Ya know...I get all caught up in my Wetherly Capital blog rut, cause they were backing Jack Weiss, BUT I JUST REMEMBERED, NIKO CONSULTING! about 2 hours ago
  • @JoseHuizar: Unfortunately, in case you hadn't noticed over past 5 yrs, ZD is a steamroller, now with downhill momentum & YOU ARE IN MY WAY! about 2 hours ago
  • If you work @ LA City Hall...get ready to hear a lot of screaming and moaning in about ten or twenty minutes. But might take a half hour! about 2 hours ago
  • I can see it now. Christine Essel's pals NIKO CONSULTING back Janice Hahn for Congress (also a NIKO pal) and Congresswoman keeps it pumpin'! about 2 hours ago
  • Guess the CRA/LA, Villaraigosa and City Hall has to get their gal Janice Hahn in Congress to keep it all covered up. Niko, rhymes with RICO. about 2 hours ago
  • DOESN'T NIKO CONSULTING BACK CANDIDATES RUNNING FOR OFFICE? Isn't Janice Hahn running for office? Doesn't she have "relationship" with NIKO? about 2 hours ago
  • BLOG POST ABOUT CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE JANICE HAHN and NIKO CONSULTING and SHADY Ponte Vista PROJECTS!: http://ow.ly/3Ufp1 about 2 hours ago
Sorry to mess up the shining image of the Superstar of the ASSembly for TEAM SHADY - John Perez. I AM ON A MISSION. And that mission is to root out the filthy, greedy, overboard, corruption that has BANKRUPT this state and city through SHEER ROBBERY AND GLUTENOUS CORRUPTION. (So much so, that the city claims to be too broke to settle with ZD.) HERE IS WHY WE ARE BROKE....IT'S ALL BEING EXPOSED ON THIS BLOG. REFRESH AND READ FROM THE TOP!

HERE'S THE NEXT WAVE OF NEW CONTENT, PREVIOUSLY LEFT UN-TOUCHED BY ZD...BUT I EVEN HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO BLOG ABOUT THIS! THANKS!:

Is John Perez and his mini-me Uncle, Antonio Villaraigosa & Jose Huizar (and TEAM SHADY) behind the Vernon takeover?

Because that's what it is...a TAKEOVER! So much for the Peoples Republic College's mission, Antonio. Gloria Molina is along for the ride on TEAM SHADY, so of course this means Alatorre is still calling in the shots like "Charlie" on the speakerphone, laying out the plan, during an episode of "Charlie's Angels."

That's why Alatorre was at the Martinez/Huizar Eagle debate in Eagle Rock. It doesn't matter who wins. He owns the registration papers on BOTH elected vehicles and he was there kicking the tires to see which one he will be riding.

Comment on Mayor Sam's Blog: Mayor, John Perez, and Huizar working together again..
Since the following article was written, John Perez has started the process to dissolve the City of Vernon. As the acting president of the LA Planning and Land Use Committee, Huizar sent the possible annexing of Vernon by the City of LA to full Council. No one else on the committee showed up that day....

Wind Power, Meet Power Struggle (Even Vernon is Involved)
Tuesday, September 15, 2009, by Dakota

Many, many years ago, Mayor Villaraigosa promised that 20% of the city's power would come from renewable sources by the year 2010. And the mayor's goal of cleaner and greener is part of the reason why the LA Times covers the struggle over Onyx Ranch, a 68,000-acre ranch in Kern County (near Bakersfield), and the site of a planned wind farm. The characters here: Ari Swiller, local entrepreneur and a former campaign manager for the Mayor; the DWP; a cattle-rancher family descended from Russian Jewish immigrants (now battling among themselves over the land); developer CIM; and the city of Vernon. We just are partial to stories that mention Vernon, but Hollywood, you may have your newest post-"Chinatown" screenplay. Here's the crux of the story:

"In the case of Onyx Ranch, the venture headed by [the mayor's pal Ari] Swiller beat the DWP to the land, bought it for $48 million and, before the transaction was completed, offered to sell less than half of it to the utility for $65 million.

H. David Nahai, the DWP's general manager, rejected the offer. Swiller's venture, a partnership between his and another firm, then sold the portion sought by Los Angeles for $42 million to the city of Vernon, a neighboring industrial community with its own electric utility. Since then, Los Angeles officials have been weighing whether to wage a potentially costly and lengthy legal battle against Vernon to gain ownership of the land, considered prime territory for towering turbines that would generate electricity from the winds that blow across the Tehachapi Mountains.

MORE NAMES ON THE OVERTIME RADAR:

In 1996, Los Angeles lawyer Bob Hertzberg was elected to the Assembly and Dan Weitzman went to work for him. Hertzberg later became Assembly speaker, and Weitzman was near the center of the Capitol’s political fundraising world. The two, close friends, continue to talk almost daily, as he does with former Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez. Weitzman’s contacts expanded exponentially, and that’s a fundamental rule of fund-raising: The more contacts the better, the greater the pool of potential donors, the better. Everybody knows everybody else, and Weitzman knows them all. The lists of names are everything.

He’s not the only fund-raiser in town, although he may be one of the smallest in terms of client load. He has a half-dozen clients, including Assembly Speaker Karen Bass, Senate Leader Darrell Steinberg, and Assembly members Kevin de Leon, Ted Lieu and John Perez. He has personal connections to all of them, some of which go back years. Capitol insiders say others would like to be on the client list, and that jealousy blooms in the Capitol, although he denies it.

Villaraigosa's Cousin, John Perez Most Likely To Be New ASSembly Speaker Now That Uber-Loser Kevin "I'm Fabian Nunez's BEST FRIEND" De Leon Bowed Out

[Pictured: "You spend your life waiting for a moment, that just don't come." - Bruce Springsteen "Badland" - He will NEVER achieve his dream of Assembly speaker or any other higher office. Maybe he can run for something in San Diego, like Neighborhood Council when he is termed-out.]

Good boy, Kevin De Leon. You dropped out of consideration for CA State ASSEmbly Speaker because you know (and everyone else knows) you don't have what it takes. Fabian Nunez is NO WHERE to be seen in the California political scene (as in EVER AGAIN), so GOT NOTHING SON!!! Shady-as-hell, Fabian Nunez "bitch puppet" (and who knows WHAT those two have done together) DROPPED OUT of consideration to be the next State ASSEMBLY speaker, because Nunez is out of juice, everyone recognizes De Leon as a nice kiss-ass, but not too sharp.

Remember when John Perez was running for Assembly in the first place and they had to "bounce" the competition out of the way. (The competition dropped out, CAPISHE!)

AND NOW HE WILL BE ASSEMBLY SPEAKER!

There IS no REAL democracy in California. Just political thuggery.

SAC BEE:

Assemblyman John A. Perez's final opponent has bowed out, setting the stage for the first-term Democrat to be selected Assembly speaker today -- the first openly gay man to hold the post. [If De Leon won, he would have been, too...right?]

After behind-closed-door talks this week with Perez and other political leaders, Assemblyman Kevin de Leon agreed to bow out and is expected to nominate Perez in an Assembly Democratic Caucus today, Capitol sources said.

De Leon's decision ends one of the nastiest battles over the Assembly's top job in recent history, with allegations of backstabbing, double crossing and political deceit. [CAT FIGHT!]

Perez, cousin of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, will replace current Speaker Karen Bass, who will be forced out of the Legislature by term limits next year.

Democratic colleagues praised Perez, who has served this year as caucus chairman, helping steer the 51-member group through often bitter disagreement as California's reeling economy forced billions in cuts to education and other public services. [I THOUGHT THE WHOLE BUDGET MESS WAS A DISASTER. SOME STEERING?]

"He's fair, he's inclusive, he's articulate, he's focused, he's a team player, and he's friends with everybody," said Assemblywoman Bonnie Lowenthal, D-Los Angeles. [BUT MOSTLY, HE'S THE MAYOR OF L.A.'s COUSIN -- AND DIDN'T YOU HEAR WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET IN HIS WAY IN A POLITICAL BATTLE?]

Lowenthal said that Perez's status as a first-year legislator was an asset because he can serve five years as Assembly leader before being termed out.

"I trust him," Assemblywoman Fiona Ma, D-San Francisco, said of Perez. "If he says that he's going to do something, I believe that he will." ["I TRUST HIM." SOMETHING YOU SHOULD NEVER BE QUOTED AS SAYING WHEN REFERRING TO AN ASSEMBLYMEMBER.]

The final days marked a political whirlwind that apparently pulled the rug from under de Leon, who was regarded as the clear frontrunner but never won commitments from a majority of the 51-member Democratic Caucus. (SO SORRY, KEVIN DE LEON...AND REMEMBER YOU SHADY BITCH...WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH..ZUMA DOGG HEARS IT..SO KEEP IT SHUT WHEN TALKING ABOUT ME, YOU CHUMPED OUT LOSER. Have fun doing what your boy "The Mayor's Cousin" tells you to do, and go cry to Fabian about it. HE HAS NOTHING BUT TIME TO CONSOLE AND COMFORT YOU.

Behind the scenes, the race appeared over shortly before Thanksgiving, when Villaraigosa hosted a private meeting of Perez, de Leon and former Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez, de Leon's childhood buddy and lifelong friend, Capitol officials said.

The session ended over a bottle of wine and Trojan condoms, officials said, with de Leon expected to become speaker and Perez targeted to run with no major Democratic opposition for the Senate seat of Cedillo, who has long coveted a move to the Assembly once he is termed out next year.

Despite the apparent understanding, de Leon was not able to quickly muster the caucus majority necessary to secure the post. [BECAUSE HE IS NOT A LEADER, AS HE HAS JUST PROVEN. ONLY A BOY IN THE SHADOW OF FABIAN, WHO IS NO LONGER THERE TO HOLD HIS (HAND?)

Torrico said many Democratic colleagues simply felt that de Leon, chairman of the powerful Assembly Appropriations Committee, had not led committees focused on major policy issues and was not "up to the job" of speaker. [I COULD HAVE TOLD YOU THAT THE FIRST TIME I SAW HIM SPEAK AT A MEETING HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO RUN, LAWFULLY.]

"Too many people believe that he didn't earn his stripes, that Fabian Nunez did all the heavy lifting for him," Torrico said. [OH SEE, that's what Zuma Dogg thought, too!]

SORRY KEVIN...COULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED TO A MORE DESERVING LOSER! And next time I decide to attend a meeting you are holding, make sure you take your head out of your ass, shut up...and MAKE SURE THAT DOOR IS OPEN AND UNLOCKED AND NO THUGS BLOCKING ME, because KEVIN, there is NO SUCH THING AS A PRIVATE MEETING IN A PUBLIC SPACE WITH A STATE ASSEMBLYMAN. SORRY, CHUMP! I CAN SEE WHY THEY HAD NO CONFIDENCE IN YOU.

Is John Perez, Antonio Villaraigosa & Jose Huizar Trying to TAKEOVER City of Vernon in A Renewable Energy Scam?

[Pictured: "TEAM SHADY" family members John Perez and Uncle Mini-me. Watch out City of Vernon. You don't stand a chance.]

I didn't have TIME to blog about Perez, Molina, Villar, Huizar, & TEAM SHADY's TAKEOVER of City of Vernon to dump into CD 14, BUT NOW I DO!

Is California State Assembly Speaker John Perez, Board of County Supervisor Gloria Molina, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Los Angeles City Councilman Jose Huizar attempting to TAKEOVER the troubled City of Vernon in an attempt to dump Vernon into Huizar's Council District 14 -- and cash in on the renewable energy angle that Vernon brings to the table?

ADDITIONAL NAMES OF INTEREST: Niko Consulting, Sage Advisors and The Santa Maria Group -- all of whom list 221 S Figueroa St # 240 Los Angeles, CA 90012-3869 as their address.

Niko helps back politicians. Wendy Greuel paid them a lot when she ran for Controller. They had a birthday bash fundraiser for CRA/LA's Christine Essel. Congressional candidate (endorsed by Villar & TEAM SHADY) Janice Hahn has a relationship with Niko, as well.

Sage Advisors seem to be a renewable energy public relations firm.

And introducing Dan Weitzman to the ZD blog network and his instant-anointment onto "TEAM SHADY."

I think since there ain't the shady money in real estate as much as their used to be, and they already bilked billions of the pension money in these real estate deals...time for the FUTURE of GRANDADDY PILFERAGE POSSIBILITIES: RENEWABLE ENERGY.

Read the players and their consultant cronies -- HERE! - "Is John Perez, Antonio Villaraigosa & Jose Huizar Trying to TAKEOVER City of Vernon in A Renewable Energy Scam?"

The only name missing here is "Ari Swiller." That's Antonio's pal, who purchased wind farm real estate that DWP was negotiating to buy, and then sold it to the City of Vernon for a huge profit. I bet Ari is also moving behind the scenes on the Vernon deal. Something stinks here. February 15, 2011 10:56 PM

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: 7 Minute Interview with CA Assembly Speaker John Perez on CalWorks, Budget, Pension & ZD's Question on "FEDERAL STIMULUS MONEY" Problems!

[Pictured: In an unrelated matter, Zuma Dogg is forced out of reclusiveness and has to step down from the mountain to issue a quote to news media on Venice Homeless/RV issue (As seen on KCAL9 & CBS2 News 9/22/10. I guess when I was saying, "With two "g's" over and over, the reporter must have thought I meant something else?]

AND NOW ON TO THE BUDGET POW-WOW @ ZD'S STARBUCK'S PLAZA w SCHWARTZIE  & PEREZ (Aka: The "We're F*CKED Report")

Had a great day on Wednesday as CA Gov Arnold Schwarzenegger was feeling like a little girlie Gov (under the weather, and having matzah ball soup for lunch) and had his budget pow-wow to discuss the future of CalWorks and the entire budget EMERGENCY CRISIS with Assembly Speaker John Perez and others in his "annex office" in Santa Monica, CA.

Happens to be shouting distance from ZD's window, so when I moseyed out to see what all the shotgun SUV hoopla was about, I saw FOX 11's John Schwada and Bloomberg News' new City Hall reporter, Chris Palmeri, waiting to interview Perez, who came out to answer (mostly John's) questions. But ZD couldn't take it at some point and had to bust in to ask about the FEDERAL STIMULUS MONEY as relating to what the L.A. Controller report recently had to say on the inefficiency. (The ZD question, which ends with ZD storming away from the interview scene, is at the 6 minute mark and the interview ended as soon as I walked away, anyway...for those about to complain you missed stuff cause I couldn't take another second of crap funneling into my ears and walked away.) You can see the entire (informative) video, HERE: (http://ZumaShow.com)

John Perez is a nice and likable guy, but based on what I see in the interview, it's still a big mess and we ain't gonna get pension reform. (Even though he says, "yes,' his head is shaking from side to side "no." (Non-verbal cues, y'all.) John has lots of "tells."

"They'll be back" on Thursday for another round of ZD.

Good Sacramento Bee Coverage (Article) on Governor Jerry Brown vs Public Records Information Act (He looks like a theif, trying to turn off the security cameras, before a robbery!)

Legislature creates confusion over records bill

Published: Wednesday, Jun. 19, 2013 - 4:24 pm
Last Modified: Wednesday, Jun. 19, 2013 - 6:19 pm
The Legislature's Democratic leaders on Wednesday pledged to address a budget bill that threatens public access to information held by local governments, but to do so in different ways.
The attempts to backtrack on the bill occurred late in the day Wednesday and in chaotic fashion as the Legislature was facing intense public criticism over the measure. The leaders of the Assembly and Senate were at odds about what to do, leading to confusion and leaving the bill's fate uncertain.
Assembly Speaker John Perez said his house would meet Thursday and pass another bill that will maintain a requirement for cities and counties to comply with the California Public Records Act.
But Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg followed that announcement by saying he planned a different solution. He wants to pass the Assembly's bill only if there is evidence in the future that a city or county is not complying.

Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff, R-Diamond Bar, criticized the majority party for reversing course on government transparency and rejecting requests from GOP lawmakers to place budget and budget-related bills in print for public input a minimum of 72 hours before a vote.

"Republicans have serious concerns about 'trust us' being a governing philosophy, particularly when the Democratic supermajority uses its power to do things such as suspending the rules just to avoid having budget bills heard in the budget committee," Huff said in a statement.

The Democratic leaders were reacting after a wave of media editorials called on Brown to veto the bill, which the Legislature passed last week as part of the budget package.
The San Francisco Chronicle said in an editorial Wednesday that the reason given for eliminating the mandate was financial but that state officials could not even say how much the local governments' compliance costs the state.
"So the Legislature and the governor are willing to effectively suspend the state's sunshine laws - which are crucial for the public to know about the government's business - just to save some amount of money that it doesn't even know about. Shameful," the Chronicle editorial board wrote.
The Sacramento Bee wrote in its editorial Wednesday that the Brown administration "is shaping up to be the worst in recent memory for transparent government."
Current law requires government agencies to respond within 10 days and cite reasons if officials need more time to gather the public documents requested or reject the request. But AB76, the bill before Brown, makes it optional for local governments to comply with deadlines and other rules when they receive requests for public records.
By making it optional rather than mandatory, the state would not have to reimburse local governments for the cost, saving the general fund millions of dollars.
The Assembly plan offered Wednesday by Perez is to amend SB71, a companion to the bill already sent to the governor. That version will be identical except that it strips two sections making it optional for local governments to comply with public records requests. Perez's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the Steinberg proposal.
"I think we're a little disappointed that the Senate chose to not put it up for a vote but we are encouraged and we think it's a good thing that the Senate is going to put forth a constitutional amendment because that is going to be the fix to this problem," said Jim Ewert, general counsel for the California Newspaper Publishers Association.

Z.A.P. CITIZENS' ALERT: Manny Aldana For Assembly (Instead of Villaraigosa's Cousin, John Perez)

This is no time to elect Antonio Villaraiogsa's cousin (John Perez) to the State Assembly. Manny Aldana running against Villar's cousin, this November 4th. It's amazing that this grassroots candidate forced a run-off with Villar's cousin (John Perez), showing how weak Antonio's whole machine has become. BUT DON'T BE BAMBOOZLED...THIS AIN'T GONNA BE EASY.

HERE'S A MESSAGE FROM MANNY:

Last call for volunteers to help out at the headquarters.
We need volunteers to help make calls to voters,
distribute flyers door to door, and to prepare mailer.
Bring family and friends!

Did Tamar Galatzan LIE To Sherman Oaks Homeowners Associtation During Debate Questioning?

LA WEEKLY MENTIONS "ZUMA DOGG" IN THEIR POLITICAL COVERAGE: This isn't the first time I have slammed a Villaraigosa-backed candidate (Tamar Galatzan who was backed by $2 million of Villarigosa's dollars to win the LAUSD board seat that she used to raise money and support for her CD 2 City Council election, this Tuesday).

PREVIOUSLY, Zuma Dogg complained about the Villaraigosa-backed Assemblymember John Perez (the mayor's cousin). THANKS TO LA WEEKLY FOR NOTICING MY ACTI-BLOGGING!

LA WEEKLY said, "Perez’s election was widely criticized by city activists, including the outspoken Zuma Dogg, who blogged: 'Antonio’s anointed candidate, who will be your new Assembly member pulling the levers for his cousin Antonio, is John Perez.'

Perez was a lead spokesman for the disastrous “Yes on 1A-1E” ballot-measure campaign that would have dramatically raised California taxes, paid down the deficit and propped up school funding. The package of measures lost by a landslide." (full story)

So I was right about THAT nightmare, too.

But now, on to the CURRENT election nightmare:

DID TAMAR GALATZAN LIE TO SHERMAN OAKS CROWD?: During the CD 2 City Council Candidate Forum held by Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association, did LAUSD School Board Member and Current City Council Candidate Tamar Galatzan LIE to the crowd tonight when asked about her use of LAUSD campaign money during this campaign cycle.

During the forum, each candidate was allowed to ask a question of any of the other candidates.

Zuma Dogg asked Tamar Galatzan, "As someone who does not like the idea of running for one office just to raise money and support for another office, did you transfer LAUSD campaign money into your officeholder account...

Richard Close (Tamar Galatzan endorser) who was moderating the event cut Zuma Dogg off at that point and Tamar said, "No."

Although Dick tried to cut me off, I tried to squeeze in the rest of the question, "Did you take money raised for your LAUSD campaign (including one SINGLE donation from an Ari Swiller friend and associate in the amount of $100,000), transfer it into your office holder account...AND USE IT FOR MAILERS YOU JUST SENT OUT DURING YOUR CITY COUNCIL CANDIDACY?

TAMAR SAID BEFORE THE CAMERA AND CROWD, "NO" SHE DID NOT TRANSFER MONEY FROM HER LAUSD CAMPAIGN INTO HER OFFICE HOLDER ACCOUNT (that could be used for staff, kids, programs, ANYTHING) AND USE IT FOR FLIERS.

Hope it is not shown to be the CASE, otherwise. But Zuma Dogg wasn't told to ask her that question and get her "on the record" for no reason. Maybe you should take a ride up the City Hall elevator to the 27th floor and check the ethics records. They don't lie. Unlike your typical elected official running for office.

ZUMA DOGG ON 870-KRLA with KEVIN JAMES: Click here for exciting audio of Zuma Dogg going into quite a nice little rant, LIVE FROM THE STREETS...TO THE STREETS on Kevin James' KRLA radio show, last night.

TELL EVERYONE TO VOTE IN THE ELECTION THIS TUESDAY: The time is finally here, that we don't need to mention the date anymore. Just tell everyone you know, there is an election this Tuesday for City Council member in CD 2 and to please vote -- and make sure to tell them ZUMA DOGG is on the ballot. The election is under attack from slick elected officials who will say anything and lie to your face during an election. Meanwhile, they couldn't do what I just did over these past three years with ALL their money. FIRST, you have to figure it out...THEN you have to be willing to stand up and DO something when it DOESN'T count in an election. SO LET'S SEE TAMAR'S "NO ON B" position since she said she was "NO" on B at the forum.

UPDATE: ETHIC COMMISSION REPORT ON MORE OF TAMAR GALATZAN'S INFAMOUS INDEPENDENT EXPENDITURES:

The CEC received the following Non-Candidate Spending Notifications yesterday:
1) L.A. Airport Peace Officers Association PAC -- for a mailer supporting Tamar Galatzan for Council District 2 for a total of $5,000.

2) from Committed to the Valley's Future - Committee to Support Tamar Galatzan for City Council 2009 -- for a flyer supporting Tamar Galatzan for a total of $1,278.51. (Is the big committee just Mort Allen?)

SO YOU CAN COME UP WITH ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING $500 LIMITS AND HOW CAMPAIGN MONEY IS USED..BUT WHO CARES WHEN YOU PULL ALL THE "OUTSIDE" STUFF THAT ETHICS FELT WAS WORTH SENDING OUT A "SHADY ALERT" OVER.

(But she is so adorable and says everything you want to hear during an election, even if she has to lie a little bit along the way about certain things. But nothing you shouldn't just overlook.)

California State ASSembly Speaker John Perez - A Message From Zuma Dogg For Uncle Antonio

John,

You remember me...the Big ZD from the 213! We met when you were talking to Zuma Dogg and Fox 11 News' John Schwada when you were talking turkey with Arnold Sissynegger over the failed budget proposal. I could take about one minute of your hot air, bullshit, jibber-jabber to my question (at the end of this video) about FEDERAL STIMULUS MONEY AND THE WASTE, THEREOF, before I told you EXACTLY what I think about what YOU have to say, John. HERE'S THE VIDEO:

Anywho, the reason I'm blogging, is because as State ASSembly Speaker, Venice Beach and City of Los Angeles is under your jurisdiction and political influence.

On October 21, 2010, a FEDERAL JUDGE ruled in Zuma Dogg's favor on some PRETTY BIG FEDERAL ISSUES at Venice Beach.

And inside L.A. City Council chambers there have been some nasty 30 day bans my 1st Amendment speech as protected under the U.S. Constitution; and "as applied" Garcetti, Perry and Zine really done fucked up! PLUS, THE FIVE YEARS' WORTH OF VIOLATIONS ON VENICE BEACH. (And a whole lot of stuff City Hall wants me to agree to in this settlement.)

BUT THEY THINK IT'S ONLY WORTH FIVE FIGURES!?!?!

And I am getting crankier, cause LAPD keeps operating in the same nefarious, mean-spirited, legally questionable behavior on the Venice Boardwaslk -- and I still am being violated by city council on a daily basis -- as they fail to take this settlement matter and the Plaintiff as seriously as I believe they should be.

So it all ends up with me sitting around, waiting for this matter to settle, so I can carry on with my pre-gadfly/political blogging days.

And since I can't get Antonio to call Rosendahl to call the City Attorney Office to get this thing wrapped up with something REASONABLE (considering the magnitude of the City's FEDERAL loss -- and the ruling that is pending regarding a related Venice Lawsuit (Hunt/Dowd) in 9th Circuit (IS NOT GOING TO GO THE CITY'S WAY...WILL BE A CRUSHING BLOW TO THE CITY, WHICH OPENS IT UP EVEN WIDER FOR ZUMA DOGG TO COME STEAMROLLING THROUGH -- EVEN STRONGER)...

maybe you could call Uncle Antonio and see how things are rolling along and what the hell is going on. Because NOW, I am up to renewable energy scams, City of Vernon TAKEOVER plans, NIKO consulting, Sage Advisors, Santa Maria Group, Pension Fraud, CRA/LA fraud relating to pension fraud -- and as Planning Commissioner, CRA Commissioner, State Assembly Speaker and Uncle Anotonio's nephew...YOU SURE ARE MAKING MY "TEAM SHADY" RADAR LOOK LIKE A MAJOR EARTHQUAKE JUST HIT WHEN I ENTER YOUR NAME ON A ZUMA DOGG World-Famous "SHADY-SEARCH."

So maybe you can get involved as State Assembly Speaker and as Antonio's relative and TEAM SHADY crew member to try and resolve this important legal matter. Because after all, Venice Beach Boardwalk is the BIGGEST TOURIST ATTRACTION (ECONOMIC REVENUE STIMULATOR) IN THE REGION THAT IS UNDER YOUR JURISDICTION.

Feel free to use State time on this matter. Call Antonio. See what's up. Cause I'm making calls about Vernon and all the stuff mentioned above to see what's up.

Thanks,

Zuma Dogg
Constituent of State Assembly Speaker John Perez

SacBee: Political Circles Are Buzzing That More Candidates May Drop Out Of Assembly Race For Nunez' Seat (Villariagosa's Cousin Getting The Push)

Wonder if the comment -- "Political circles are buzzing that Lara, too, was dropping out" -- was based on LA Daily Blog's story? (Someone emailed me this story with the comment highlighted making note that they felt so.)

From SacBee

Field thins for Núñez Assembly seat

What was billed as a three-way surrogate struggle for the Assembly between Latino political powerhouses has thinned to two candidates, as a top aide to Sen. Gil Cedillo is dropping out of the race.

That leaves John Perez, the cousin of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and Ricardo Lara, the district director for Assembly Speaker Fabian Núñez as the remaining politically connected candidates for the Assembly seat, which Núñez must vacate this year due to term limits.

Arturo Chavez, the district director for Cedillo, said in an interview that he was withdrawing because “we don’t need that kind of dissension within the community.”

“There’s a lot of folks involved in this particular race, a lot of family and friends and it would have been pretty divisive,” said Chavez..

Political circles are buzzing that Lara, too, was dropping out.

But Núñez, speaking after an education press conference on Wednesday morning, denied that, saying, “Huh? He hasn’t left anything."

Neither Lara nor Sanchez has responded to phone calls or e-mails (since being contacted).

The speaker said the key to the race would be the endorsement of the powerful Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, to which both he and Villaraigosa are closely allied.

“We’re friends and at the end of the day we’d like to be together, if we could,” said Núñez of himself, Cedillo and Villaraigosa. “We’re going to sit with everybody after the labor fed endorsement and see who gets that endorsement. I think the person who gets that endorsement probably has best shot at winning and I think we need to figure out where you go from there. “

Perez is a former member of the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency, which he recently left to launch his Assembly bid. His is also Villaraigosa’s first cousin.

Latino leaders in Los Angeles have tried to avoid open political warfare between factions before, often with benefits down the line for those who put their ambitions temporarily on hold. [But you can't trust Villaraigosa like you used to.)

In early 2007, three Latinos were eying a seat on the Los Angeles City Council, including newly elected Assemblyman Richard Alarcon, former Assemblywoman Cindy Montanez and Felipe Fuentes, who served as chief of staff to Sen. Alex Padilla when he served on the city council.

Ultimately, though, the field thinned to one, with only Alarcon remaining in the race in what amounted to a waltz into the council. Fuentes then ran for the Assembly seat Alarcon vacated. And Montanez received two plum appointments, a seat on the Los Angeles Planning Commission made by the mayor, and a seat on the Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, made by the speaker. The latter job pays an annual $128,109 salary, according to the Sacramento Bee state workers’ database.

LA Times Confirms News About Villaraigosa's Cousin (John Perez) That Zuma Times/LA Daily Blog Broke Yesterday (Talk About Yesterday's Newspaper)

Aw man...how come the LA Times is always at least a day, if not a week behind Zuma Times. (They get paid to do their job...I don't! I should be following them, not leading them, those LAzy losers. I don't think there's a single fact in the article that wasn't already blogged here.)

From LAzy Times:

Potential rival to mayor's cousin gets city appointment

NOTE: But if you have already read previous Zuma Times coverage over past two weeks there is no need to even look at this article from LAzy Times.

Ricardo Lara is named to the Planning Commission days after he dropped out of the race for an Assembly seat coveted by Villaraigosa relative John Perez.

By David Zahniser
Los Angeles Times Staff Writer

March 21 2008, 8:20 AM PDT

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has picked an aide to Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez to serve on the city Planning Commission, less than a week after the aide dropped out of a legislative campaign in which he would have been running against the mayor's cousin.

LA DAILY BLOG BREAKS THE NEWS TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA YESTERDAY

(I know this is a blog, but LAzy Times or Daily Snooze didn't break it on their websites, either.)

And does anyone know why Mayor Villaraigosa replaced Sabrina Kay (with Perez) in the first place? Why was Sabrina replaced, in the first place? Hmmm. Anyone hear anything? (ZumaDogg@gmail.com) Hey Antonio...muscling out candidate ain't very democratic, y'all. But what do YOU care about democracy? (Viva Villaraigosa!)

Thought of the Day: An alcoholic doesn't leave the bar, until the bartender cuts them off. A gambler doesn't walk away from the table until the dealer takes all their chips. And corrupt politicians don't stop their obsession until they are removed from office (one way or the other).

Villaraigosa's Cousin, John Perez Annointed New Assemblymember of AD 46 (Replacing Termed Out Nunez)

If anyone thinks you can just decide to run for elected office in Southern California is fooling themselves.

Unless you get tapped on the shoulder by the powers in charge -- either get out of the way -- or prepare for the wrath. In this case, unless you are on Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's roster -- you're gonna get muscled out of the race.

That's what just happened in the "Battle of the Assembly Titans". A three way grudge match, that was over before first round bell.

Current termed-out Assembly Speaker, Fabian "Knuckhead" Nunez doesn't have enough political muscle anymore to hold his own in a nursery school sandbox, so that means his candidate -- Ricardo Lara has been knocked out of the race by Mayor Antonio. (Hey, he can't help it...he's not related to Villaraigosa.)

And Gil Cedillo's Deputy, Arturo Chavez hopefully negotiated a good deal for himself, before he steps/stepped out of the Assembly race. (Not that Villaraigosa is know for honoring deals. But better to be a small fish in Antonio's big pond...than your own fish in no pond, you can only hope.)

Oh yeah, Antonio's anointed candidate who will be your new Assemblymember pulling the levers for his cousin Antonio is John Perez. A politically savvy guy, but not a guy who is from the streets of the district and probably has zero street vibe compared to all the other candidates.

Michael Aldapa, a local hometown candidate from Boyle Heights is still in the race. He knows a lot of people in the community and I'm sure he has lots of grassroots support. But he isn't Antonio's cousin.

So to sum it up...Villaraigosa "negotiated" the upcoming Assembly election in AD 46 into a one man race.
